Iran Ready To Negotiate On Nukes

From a delighted Associated Press:

Iran’s top nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili.

Nuclear negotiator: Iran ready for talks with West

By Ali Akbar Dareini

TEHRAN, Iran – Iran’s top nuclear negotiator said his country is ready to hold talks with world powers to ease fears over its nuclear activities and has prepared a revised package of proposals for Western countries, state TV reported Tuesday.

Despite the suggestion of possible international cooperation, parliament sent a defiant message to the world by supporting President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s nominee for defense minister, who is under an international arrest warrant for the 1994 bombing of a Jewish center in Argentina that killed 85 people.

Nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili told reporters of the country’s new proposals a day before a meeting in Germany of the six countries trying to address concerns about Iran’s nuclear program — the U.S., France, Britain, Russia, China and Germany.

"Iran has prepared to present its revised package of proposals … and is ready to hold talks with world powers … in order to ease common concerns in the international arena," the TV quoted Jalili as telling reporters.

The U.S. has given Iran a deadline of the end of September to take up an offer of nuclear talks with six world powers and enjoy trade incentives should it suspend uranium enrichment activities. If not, Iran could face harsher sanctions…

Thank goodness.

We were beginning to worry that the Iranians would never negotiate in good faith about their drive to achieve energy through nuclear power.

What a relief.

Iranians are the best at BS! If the Obama administration buys into this then they are even more gullible than we all thought. I’m affraid that the Iranians have and will take advantage of a junior Senator with no experience, along with his appointees. This whole administration is a joke and the joke is going to be on the American people in due time.

The Iranians are second best at bullshiite!
Obama and his criminal cronies are “The Best” at peddling bullshiite!!

The only difference between Ahmadikaboutit and Obama is about 14 inches!!

In other news, the Obama administration appoints a new “nuke czar”. His good friend, Mr Duncan Coveur.

More likely the Iranians have taken the measure of the Obama Administration, see a window of vulnerability and are ready to take them to the cleaners.

It would be a real treat to follow this confrontation between the Bamster and the Mahdist but lives are at stake. For all the wackiness we see out of Iran – their leaders are masters at manipulation and deception. Then again, following form, the Bamster might just apologize profusely for the action of the USA, maybe even our existence and seal the deal to sell out the Iraqis, Afghanis and Israelis (not to mention the US military). No need for nukes there Mamoud, but you can be the king pin in the wider region.

The EUro Collective will cheer him on and the UN will sanction the subjugation. The US media will swoon.

The negotiations are dependent on TCO’s apologizing for the Shah, promising never to speak ill of the Mullahs, assisting in the development of nuclear warheads capable of being fired at the U.S., and reparations for past, undisclosed injustices.
So far, TCO has rejected the Iranian demands, saying that they don’t go far enough in punishing the U.S..

  4. Are they beginning to negotiate because they fear Obama? Or because Isreal has been rattling her saber?

Iran’s top nuclear negotiator said his country is ready to hold talks … and has prepared a revised package of proposals for Western countries….

Iran has repeatedly vowed it will never suspend enrichment work but said the incentives package has some “common ground” with Tehran’s own proposals for a resolution to the standoff.

Translation: Three of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council (China, Russia, France) have finally convinced the two with some remaining shreds of integrity (UK, US) that they need to sweeten the offer to Iran. And the two have fallen for it. So once again, a rogue country will be rewarded for behaving like a wild animal.

    • bousquem says:

The Iranian version of the resolution would probably something along the lines of us giving all them all the economic packages with no strings attached and not do anything while they build a bomb then use it against Israel. Then maybe roll over and capitulate to the iranian/muslim take over of the world.

When did Ahmadinejad start going with the Steven Speilberg look? He probably doesn’t know that Speilberg is Jewish.

“Iran’s top nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili.” .. doubles as a Santa in season. Just look at the pure picture of innocence and trust he portrays. (NOT!)
