Rigged election is putting it mildly. In effect the mullahs decided who would be the next president of Iran plain & simple. As far as the voting in Iran it is just an action in futility. There was never a count of votes they simply had the boxes of ballots brought to a secure location then they were all burned or however they destroy documents in Iran. I’m sure they were sitting there with different results to release and chose the one that Amadinajid would look best, in their minds. Bottom line this is the result and anyone who doesn’t like it better get out of the way because a bullet has your name on it.

Iran reminds me of Orwell’s 1984 in so many ways…

The people are kept from engaging with the rest of the world by the continual fear and conspiracy theories of their government…a war against their own people.

The Iranian government knows that the United States has nothing to do with this. Nothing. And they know that Khomeini and his political elite rigged the votes.

But there must always be someone to pin the blame on, to cover up Iran’s atrocities against its own people. In the death of Neda, it was not government basij but a “secular marxist” terrorist group. The death toll was not 100 + but 10 if you watch Press TV. And even pictures of pro-Ahmadinejad protests were photoshopped to appear as though they contain more people.

Iran is the king of lies and most Iranians know it. The rest of the world does, too.

And yes, Banned, there really is some irony in that little problem isn’t there. I certainly hope the best possible outcome for them; but indeed, surprise, surprise.

Besides, wasn’t it the “Newsweek”‘s editor that proclaimed o-blah-blah “so above, even the world.Like .. he’s a god.”

So o-blah-blah oughta have this little “blip” resolved before dinner, dontchya think???

God bless the reporters, tho’ – they’re just some useful idiots. We’ll need to pray for them and their families. Gotta be scary!

I thought with our Muslim in Chief we didn’t have to worry about stuff like this. I guess he didn’t bow deep enough to the Saudi king. The despots of the world know that King Barry is a weak sister and that they can do just about anything they want without fear of retaliation. I’m sure the only reason he even let the SEALs take out those pirates was because one of his “advisors” told him it would look good on TV.

How soon until Iran officially attacks Iraq or Israel? They need a distraction from internal politics and a new enemy to unite the people against. The ‘America is the Devil’ thing isn’t working as well as it use to. Besides, Iran can not allow two democracies to flourish on both their borders. It is too much inspiration for the people to rebel.

Then there is the irony in the arrests of Newsweek and Washington Times reporters. Those liberal slugs have been in denial for so long about what a dictatorship is like. That is big heaping dose of reality for them to swallow. Perhaps they will now get some hands-on knowledge of what really constitutes torture, although I pray that water boarding would be the worst they would receive, I doubt it.

So this accusation against the US of fomenting revolution in Iran is the new result of electing Barry, eh?

Funny…in 8 years of having President Bush at our helm, not once did foreign enemies claim we were doing such things. Now, however, after falling for the bribe of “Hope and Change”, we are accused of covert nation-building. Barry could easily get us into a war by fumbling and hiding, whereas President Bush’s clear leadership had us involved only in the places he said we would be: Iraq and Afghanistan.

I sure miss George Bush.
