You forgot to mention the words of the late Israeli prime minister Golda Meier, “There will never be peace until the Palestinians learn to love their children more than they hate us.’ True loving parents don’t sacrifice their children to vent their hatred towards another race of people. The time is long overdue for Palestinian parents to tell these Hamas and Hezbollah monsters that their children are too precious to be sacrificed as tools for terror.

The larger question of course, is why the Palestinians continue to waste their lives and destroy their future and their childrens’ futures fighting about a tiny bit of land, and not starting businesses and making good lives for themselves where they are? It’s not for lack of resources – the whole world would be only too happy to help them (as in fact it already does) but they continue to behave like psychopaths, spending all their energies in making themselves miserable. It’s the fault of their leaders, like Arafat and now Nasrallah, whose power depends on the people being angry and poor forever, so they keep telling the people that they can never be successful until they control the whole area. That’s very childish thinking. They have everything the Israelis have: arable land, seaports, trading partners, etc., but all their money and energy goes into digging tunnels, buying bombs and planning attacks, instead of setting up schools (and not jihad schools) and industries. Until the Palestinian people get smart, and start building up their own country, they will continue in their miserable existence.

By the way, interesting name – zerstreut = scattered (in the sense of diaspora?), also scatterbrained + philo = lover of. So – lover of those who have been scattered? Lover of scatterbrains?

Perhaps I am mistaken but didn’t IAEA Chief ElBaradei recently assure the world that Iran is NOT pursuing weapons with their nuclear program? They need nuclear energy because Iran has no other way to produce electricity, right?

I can see the NY Times headline now, “Obama lied, people died”, ………yeah, right. ;o)

I have to agree with 12 gauge. The Egyptian President has had a falling out with Iran and in the end the world itself will breath a sigh of relief. The country is too unstable and now with Pakistan having problems there is just too much of a risk of a terrorist group getting their hands on one. The Israeli’s have every right to protect themselves and it will be interesting to see how our wonderful media reacts when Obama sits on the side-lines and doesn’t react. I mean thats what he does when things get out of hand. right? Our wonderfully stoic PEOTUS. Definately wouldnt want to get his hands “dirty” with all this Middle East business.

CORRECTION: In the picture above, the post that is carried by the woman is not written in Arabic, as you have stated; it is in Persian (Farsi). Also, most of these comments show that still many people think like Bush and seem to be supportive of his foreign-policy, although the Bush era is over. A comment speaks of toilet habits; but the Iranians generally think that it is cleaner to use their left hand and completely wash their a$$ than be like a Westerners walking around with a shitty a$$.

When the Israelis finally exhaust their patience with Iran and take decisive action there will be the usual outrage from the surrounding Islamic nations but inwardly they will breath a collective sigh of relief. How much civil is left in the civil world? In this country alone we’ve MANY people who think a nuclear armed Iran is perfectly acceptable and means no harm whatsoever to Israel, despite the fact this same soon to be nuclear-armed Iran has repeatedly threatened to wipe it (Israel) off the face of the earth. THe UN is its usual totally impotent self and threatens sanction after sanction on Iran (which I understand really makes them quake in their boots or shoes or sandals or whatever…). It seems obvious this situation has to escalate to a conclusion before Jan. 20th because once Bambi takes office, the rest of the world is in danger of being annihilated (sp?) by an undeterred nuclear Iran… Iran is not cultured, it is not civilized, it is a danger…

Leftist media has managed to put a negative connotation on the word cowboy. For them it seems to mean any American that would stand up and defend our nation.
