IRS Tax Exempt Head Now Runs IRS Obama-Care

From ABC News:

IRS Official in Charge During Tea Party Targeting Now Runs Health Care Office

By John Parkinson, Steven Portnoy | May 16, 2013

The Internal Revenue Service official in charge of the tax-exempt organizations at the time when the unit targeted tea party groups now runs the IRS office responsible for the health care legislation.

Sarah Hall Ingram served as commissioner of the office responsible for tax-exempt organizations between 2009 and 2012. But Ingram has since left that part of the IRS and is now the director of the IRS’ Affordable Care Act office, the IRS confirmed to ABC News today…

And here is a possibly related story, from the Washington Examiner:

IRS tax exemption/Obamacare exec got $103,390 in bonuses

By Mark Tapscott | May 16, 2013

Sarah Hall Ingram, the IRS executive in charge of the tax exempt division in 2010 when it began targeting conservative Tea Party, evangelical and pro-Israel groups for harrassment [sic], got more than $100,000 in bonuses between 2009 and 2012…

Ingram received a $7,000 bonus in 2009, according to data obtained by The Washington Examiner from the IRS, then a $34,440 bonus in 2010, $35,400 in 2011 and $26,550 last year, for a total of $103,390. Her annual salary went from $172,500 to $177,000 during the same period.

This is the ‘Chicago Way.’ You punish your enemies and you reward you friends. Of course, it is the Democrat way, too.

The 2010, 2011 and 2012 bonuses were awarded during the period when IRS harrassment [sic] of the conservative groups was most intense. The newspaper obtained the data via a Freedom of Information Act request…

And you can bet the Washington Examiner just beat out the Washington Post and the New York Times on this scoop by an eyelash.

Earlier Thursday, The Washington Examiner reported that the IRS paid out more than $92 million in bonuses during the four-year period of Ingram’s awards to her and nearly 17,000 other agency employees. Those bonuses averaged more than $5,500 per employee.

Lest we forget, the Associated Press reported just three days ago:

Inspector general: Ineffective management at IRS allowed agents to target tea party groups

Tue, May 14, 2013

WASHINGTON (AP) — Inspector general: Ineffective management at IRS allowed agents to target tea party groups.

By the way, that single sentence was the full extent of the AP’s report. Apparently, they didn’t want to beat it to death.

Meanwhile, it seems like it was only yesterday that the news media were mocking conservatives for their concerns about the IRS being in charge of Obama-care.

In fact, it was only yesterday, at the Politico:

Conservatives link IRS mess to Obamacare

By GINGER GIBSON | May 16, 2013

Conservative lawmakers and tea party advocates Thursday sought to link the IRS scandal to efforts to repeal Obamacare, even acknowledging the potential of impeachment.

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) made the leap from Benghazi to the IRS scandal to Obamacare, a progression she said was all related. At a packed press conference, she argued that the IRS will now be able to access individuals’ health records because they are tasked with overseeing compliance with the new law.

“Could there potentially be political implications regarding health care? Access to health care? Denial of health care? Will that happen based upon a person’s political beliefs or a person’s religiously held beliefs?” Bachmann said, later adding that the IRS could “blackmail” people…

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) also used the IRS scandal to shed doubt on implementation of the health care law.

“I’m a physician. I’m quite worried about the privacy of medical records,” he said. “I’m quite worried that your medical records now will be evaluated by the IRS.” …

What a couple of rightwing paranoid whackjobs.

I get the feeling the Nation is trapped in a bad episode of Blade. Vampires control nearly everything, Familiars work with Vampires in hopes they too someday can be bitten and acquire the virus which gives them near-immortality and cater to every lust … and regular people are the cattle upon which both feed.

As I predicted last week or so, the IRS ObamaCare will have every Conservative and Republican on a list and they will get the worst health care.

I was reading some new ObamaCare rules, and the rationing will mean the difference between life and death. Prescriptions are going to skyrocket and people will not even get pills to save their life yet alone procedures or any care. We are talking about “older” been out there meds (not the outrageous expensive new meds that old people can not even get) that cost a hospital not even 25 cents are charging patients approx 250 dollars. Only a year or two a med that would cost a hospital 25cents was already 125 ish dollars and now approx $250.

This is where Republicans said we need reform not ObamaCare have been proven correct that ObamaCare would skyrocket.

Further, aside more doctors saying the will quit, with the new American Medical Associations requirements for education, no one can afford to become a doctor. There will be more O.D.s who don’t do surgery, because after medical schools it will take approx 5 years of the federal govt telling these medical graduates where they will practice, what they will do, and they will hardly get paid. They will even be forced to do things they don’t want. All before they can get licensed. When you are looking at approx 13 years of school and the costs, there will be more O.D.s and less in any practice. Most are stopping as Physician Assistants as the pay is so good, and cheaper education.

Medical administration is in dire need, and that is where nurses with different educations are getting off the floor and on their chairs to include they get to work at home, and so the shortage of LPNs and RN’s is that piddly nurses aids who take vo-tech courses are doing work the LPN and RN’s once did.

Why when liberals since Hitler want baby’s to die, and people to die to stop over-population from the global green terrorists want people to live.

Didn’t she once hold a postion with the law firm of Stall, Stall & Delay? Brought the playbook which resembles the speed of a Turtle in moving paperwork through the judicial system on those applications from the Tea Party and conservative groups. Including a long in-depth cross examination of each and every officer of the organizations. Really, really in-depth. The total of the bonuses paid her for a job well done doesn’t compare to one year of the salary paid Mrs.Obama by that hospital overloaded with down and out patients that she corrected by just barring their admittance. Is that solution contained somewhere in the thousands of pages of Obamacare?

I live in a very small town in NC. The population is less than 2000. 69% Black, 30% white and 1% mexican/chinese. Half the population is on welfare, disability or Social Security. Not counting the farmers who get more welfare than all the poor combined but that’s another story.

We haven’t had a Dr. here in three years. Only Physician Assistants (PA.) or Nurse Practitioners (FNP or ANP or APRN).

They still charge the same rate as a Dr., you just never see one. $88 per office visit.
Most people are on MediCare or MedicAID. So the local hospital lives on reimbursements from the federal and state governments. People with good insurance go out of town for their health care. Poor people are stuck.

I took my 80yr. old mother, who was not a frail woman, to the ER 2 1/2 years ago as she was complaining of heartburn for a few days. I knew this was a sign, especially in women, of heart attack. They sent her home with a sample box of Prilosec. She was in the hospital in Raleigh 2 days later dying of heart failure. The Doctors there said it appeared she had a heart attack 2 days earlier. Just at the time we went to the ER. There was nothing they could do. the damage was done. She died.

Because of her age and the fact that we are not litigious people we let it go. But i am positive that if there had been a licensed physician at that ER who was well trained she may still be alive. Who knows?

This wasn’t a case of ObamaCare but it is a sign of things to come. Especially for the poor.
