Then he said he knew the application specified one must be registered to vote in Maryland to apply. He acknowledged that neither he nor his wife is registered to vote in Maryland… OCE investigators wrote that Stark ‘certified to Maryland that he is registered to vote in Maryland, while in fact he is registered to vote in California. Stark later changed his certification.’ He later denied such a situation occurred.” (JAKE Sherman, “Pete Stark’s Bizarre Ethics Interview,” Politico, 3/1/10)

In 1991 Rep. Stark Stood Out Among House Colleagues In Scandal Concerning Bounced House Bank Checks. “Like some representatives before him, Rep. Pete Stark (D-Oakland) stood up in Congress last week and said he was sorry for repeatedly bouncing checks at the private House bank… But Stark’s conduct stands out among his colleagues: He told of bouncing 17 checks over the span of a year, an average of about one overdraft every three weeks. So far that puts Stark in the upper stratosphere of congressional check-bouncers and well beyond anyone in the 45-member California delegation.” (Glenn F. Bunting, “Some Don’t Buy Stark’s Apology For Overdrafts,” The Los Angeles Times, 10/31/91)

                                        • Scandal Said To Illustrate Rep. Stark’s “Lack Of Being In Touch” With Constituents. “His string of bounced checks ‘illustrates a certain lack of being in touch with the realities of today’s world,’ said Ellen Miller, executive director of the Center for Responsive Politics. ‘How can someone who doesn’t appear to care about check-bouncing represent people in Oakland who don’t even have money to put into a checking account?’” (Glenn F. Bunting, “Some Don’t Buy Stark’s Apology For Overdrafts,” The Los Angeles Times, 10/31/91)

Isn’t it funny how our watchdog media is not asking any of these questions?

But just imagine for a moment that Mr. Stark were a Republican.

An athiest, anti-semite, anti-Christian, bigot, hypocrite, who hates the military and has ethics “issues.” Sounds like the perfect liberal resume to me. I wonder why they haven’t given him a cabinet post yet.

The most ethical, open, bi-partisan,……blah, blah, blah, blah,……….

                                          Yeah, right!!

Democrats are like cockroaches……they can’t be erradicated. They just build an immunity to whatever means is used to exterminate them.

                                          Democrats=carriers of a disease……….liberalism.

If Pelosi is holding out for a Democrat without criminal activities in his/her background to fill that chairmanship, she’s more stupid than I thought…….if being more stupid than I thought was possible.

When it comes to Democrats, there is no superlative. Stupidest is an open-ended term for them. Evidently they think the same thing applies to us.

Of course Pete Stark participates in the underworld of our unConstitutional US Code Title 26.

It was that career choice, or be an assistant to Anton Levay or an altar boy for L Ron Hubbard.

This guy is such a loser.

A typical polemicist who loathes everything the United States does and cannot separate his bizarre views on race from politics. Notice every woman who gets on his bad side is degraded – “whoring” for the insurance industry, doctor from “pillow talk,” makes me sick.

“In 1990, Stark Called HHS Secretary Louis W. Sullivan, An African American, A “Disgrace To His Race.””

Hence the new racism takes form. Disagree with me, and you are prejudiced.

I’m reminded of the satirical Devil’s Dictionary by Ambrose Bierce, published 1911:

                                          BIGOT, n.
One who is obstinately and zealously attached to an opinion that you do not entertain.

Who gives to this man’s campaigns for reelection? I mean really, how does he keep getting reelected? The people who keep voting for him, don’t have a problem with his behavior?

Where I come from behavior like this would earn a man a big ole’ dose of wup ass.

                                          • JohnMG says:

Stark would probably like that. He IS from the land of “fruits and nuts”, dontcha know.

                                        13. canary says:

Pelosi’s 1st choice of Stark, just after telling the public she is frightened (gulp) at language she hasn’t heard “snif” since the 70’s. Either, Pelosi has only shared “sweet pillow talk” with Stark, or she likes it “rough in bed”.

Perhaps this is what Obama meant when he named Pelosi an extreme perverse liberal. I think he called her greedy too, in a simile, but he’s a painful read.

Well, Carl Levin is pretty sincere, but don’t know much about Sandy Levin.

                                        14. canary says:

Pete Stark shows all the signs of the violent form of severe dementia, and needs to be committed to a nursing home where he can be medicated to reduce be a dangerous risk to other residents.
