Video Shows Activists Attacking Israelis

Demonstrators Use Violence Against Israeli Navy Soldiers Attempting to Board Ship

May 31, 2010 — Early this morning, IDF Naval Forces boarded six ships attempting to break the maritime closure of the Gaza Strip. This happened after numerous warnings from Israel and the Israeli Navy that were issued prior to the action. The Israel Navy requested the ships to redirect toward Ashdod where they would be able to unload their aid supplies which would then be transferred over land after undergoing security inspections.

During the boarding of the ships, the demonstrators onboard attacked the IDF Naval personnel with live fire and light weaponry including knives and clubs. Additionally one of the weapons used was grabbed from an IDF soldier. The demonstrators had clearly prepared their weapons in advance for this specific purpose.

As a result of this life-threatening and violent activity, naval forces employed riot dispersal means, including live fire.

According to initial reports, these events resulted in over ten deaths among the demonstrators and numerous injured, in addition, more than four naval personnel were injured, some from gunfire and some from various other weapons. Two of the soldiers are moderately wounded and the remainder sustained light injuries. All of the injured, Israelis and foreigners are currently being evacuated by helicopter to hospitals in Israel.

Reports from IDF forces on the scene are that it seems as if part of the participants onboard the ships were planning to lynch the forces.

The interception of the flotilla followed numerous warnings given to the organizers of the flotilla before leaving their ports as well as while sailing towards the Gaza Strip. In these warnings, it was made clear to the organizers that they could dock in the Ashdod sea port and unload the equipment they are carrying in order to deliver it to the Gaza Strip in an orderly manner, following the appropriate security checks. Upon expressing their unwillingness to cooperate and arrive at the port, it was decided to board the ships and lead them to Ashdod.

IDF naval personnel encountered severe violence, including use of weaponry prepared in advance in order to attack and to harm them. The forces operated in adherence with operational commands and took all necessary actions in order to avoid violence, but to no avail.

But who are we to believe, the ‘peace activists’ or our lying eyes?

Since when does video ever prove anything?
The Jewish haters will only see what they are ‘TOLD’ to see.

Hence……look at all the video shot at the recent Tea Parties.
They see anti-government, un-Americans violently protesting.
You and I see what really happened and it was none of the above.

  2. LewWaters says:

Most telling to me in this is how fast the Useless Nations Security Council is in condemning Israel, yet are still dragging their feet on North Korea’s attack and sinking of a South Korean Naval Vessel.

  3. tranquil.night says:

These ‘activists’ premeditatively intended to attack a foreign military on behalf of their enemy and in the name of ‘peaceful foreign aid’. I mean, if there’s anything lower than suicide terrorism, then it’s doing it under the banner and guise of ‘helping the meek’.

And don’t skip a beat, those 10 who died are holy martyrs to the crusaders that want Israel tarred and feathered. Like in the case of Arizona (among others), they don’t even care if the truth is known and the consequences come to pass anymore. They’re just out starting brushfires until one takes down the whole forest.

  4. NoNeoCommies says:

Combine this with Obama’s UN vote to try forcing Israel to sign the Non-Proliferation Treaty and disarm and you have all the reason in the world for Israel to decide to go it alone until American kicks it’s traitors out of office.

“………until America kicks it’s traitors out of office.”

    Nice slice there Neo!

  6. Mithrandir says:

Why even bother to land troops here? It is a NAVAL BLOCKADE, and everyone knows what happens when you try to slip through one, either by stealth or by announcing it to the world.

The boat was trying to get international attention, and by sinking it, Israel sends a message of their own, TRY IT, AND YOU GO TO THE BOTTOM, no matter how many media cameras, celebrities, or politicians you have on board.

  7. BannedbytheTaliban says:

Somebody should tell these bravos that glass projectiles are banned under the Geneva Conventions. But that is right, the Geneva Conventions were only meant to punish Bush, ‘peace activists’ and terrorists are exempt.
