Turns Out Obama Won Texas Primary After All
From a confused Associated Press:

Obama wins most Texas delegates
Mon Mar 31
WASHINGTON - Sen. Barack Obama has won the overall delegate race in Texas thanks to a strong showing in Democratic county conventions this past weekend.
Obama picked up seven of nine outstanding delegates, giving him a total of 99 Texas delegates to the party’s national convention this summer. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton won the other two, giving her a total of 94 Texas delegates, according to an analysis of returns by The Associated Press.
Texas Democrats held both a presidential primary and caucus. Clinton narrowly won the popular vote in the state’s primary March 4, earning her 65 national convention delegates to Obama’s 61.
Precinct caucuses began immediately after polls closed primary night and quickly devolved into chaos in many parts of the state because of an unprecedented turnout of more than 1 million Democrats. The state party was never able to provide complete results from the caucuses, which is why the AP withheld nine delegates…
Obama won 38 delegates through the caucus/convention system, and Clinton won 29.
The final delegate allocation will be decided at the party’s state convention June 6-7, and the numbers could change if either campaign is unable to maintain the level of support they had over the weekend…
Never mind what we were being authoritatively told not even a month ago:
Indeed there were hundreds of articles proclaiming Mrs. Clinton’s historic comeback victory.
Still, it made for a very stirring story — for a while, anyway.

So how soon do we start hearing about how Obama “stole” the Texas primary?
Yeah, yeah - rhetorical question.

Let’s talk a little reality here.
Hillary won the popular vote in Texas. That night, at the precint caucuses, Obama supporters were trying to prevent Hillary supporters from entering the caucus sites before the deadline when the caucuses were closed. My step mother was one of them. This 84 year old woman was told by an Obama supporter that she, and her friends, could not enter because the caucus site was full. She waited over an hour to get in until a Hillary worker showed up and raised a ruckus.
Last weekend, Hillary delegates were sent emails and text messages telling them a) the caucuses had been cancelled or b) giving a new (and phony) address for the caucus. There was some real shananigans going on last weekend. At one precint caucus that had 40 delegates, only one showed up and he said he had not checked his email or text messages before he got there.
Let’s not forget how Obama won his very first election. By disallowing all the signatures on the campaign petition of his opponent.
There were some really shaddy tricks going on last weekend. And although I am no Hillary fan, law suits should be flying. Obama won the Texas delegates because his campaign workers pulled political dirty tricks. And yet, he still won only a narrow margin. But the MSM, being in the tank for Obama will report it the way they want you to see it.
One other thing; Real Clear Politics didn’t change the polls showing Hillary leading Obama in PA for over a week. Then, when one poll comes out showing she was losing ground in PA they put that up immediately. It seems that the pundits and media will decide who the Democratic nominee is, and sorry, Hil, it ain’t you.

Good post, retire. I agree. Kinda reminds me of a third world Country plagued with voter intimidation. From what I have heard, these are not isolated incidents. Where’s the justice?
