I usually get my news here, to be honest. As well as Rush, Drudge, Beck, and Human Events.

Occasionally I branch out to National Review and sometimes even some of the Lefty newspapers if I’m feeling masochistic.

Exactly what I was thinking, Confucius. Honestly, if given the choice of ONLY watching those 4 twits, I’d go with John Stewart without a second glance.

At least he’s gone on record and admitted that he shouldn’t be considered a real news reporter. The rest of them aren’t, yet they keep trying to fool everyone they are. Plus, there’s a slight chance I’ll laugh at something he says in between the garbage, the misdirection, and the lies because he said something funny, as opposed to the others, where I laugh in between the garbage, the misdirection, and the lies because I’m dissipated.

I get my news from Rush Limbaugh & blogs.

There! I said it! It’s not pretty, but it’s true, and I’m getting more comfortable with admitting it.

When I do read a newspaper, it just reminds me of why I no longer subscribe. And when I occasionally stop by NPR on the dial, I wince alot.

The sad thing about this is I know a number of people who actually do get all their “news” from Stewart’s program with occasional supplements from NPR.

It also tells you about the demographic to which this poll was aimed.
The MSM evening news doesn’t go after the same demographic, nor does the cable evening news with the exception of MSNBC.

Stewart grabs maybe 1.4 million people with his ‘news’ show. This only tells us that Time excels at worthless polls with results that they can take to make the country look universally dumb or liberal. Haha, the pollsters probably just got laughed at in Alaska and Kentucky: “Who the sh** cares about any of these people?” Get this trash off my screen.

This is what happens to a generation when the mommy, daddy and babysitter happen to be the “BOOB” tube!

Muslims running the streets of America using their own people as “security”.
Homos, as a group getting their very own “Hate” crime bill passed.
Universal Health Care pushed on us whether we like it or not. (and it doesn’t cover everyone)
A group of elected officials that think they are above the din of the people who elected them in the first place.
The Constitution and the Bill of Rights being used as toilet paper at the White House.

Time Magazine Poll Finds Faux Newscaster Jon Stewart is America’s Most Trusted Newscaster, Post-Cronkite

Jon Stewart, host of “The Daily Show” on Comedy Central, won a match-up against Brian Williams, Katie Couric and Charlie Gibson in a Time Magazine online poll for “America’s Most Trusted Newscaster” now that Walter Cronkite has died, the Huffington Post reports.

The joke, of course, is that Stewart is not a newscaster. At one point, when Cronkite was the anchor of the “CBS Evening News” he was named the most trusted man in America.

Stewart drew 44% of the votes; NBC’s Brian Williams was second with 29%. The poll drew 9,409 votes.
