Kerry: House GOP Is Biggest Threat Facing US

From the Associated Press:

Kerry: Budget impasse a challenge for US diplomacy

By BRADLEY KLAPPER | February 20, 2013

WASHINGTON (AP) — Secretary of State John Kerry says the greatest challenge to U.S. foreign policy is not emerging China or Middle East instability. It’s Congress.

And by Congress he means the Republicans. Specifically, the Republicans in the House. In fact, it’s a wonder he didn’t liken them to Jenjhis Khan.

In a speech Wednesday at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Kerry cited the adage that "we can’t be strong in the world unless we are strong at home." He called the budget impasse a threat.

Lest we forget, back in the fall of 2010, when Obama was fighting extending the Bush tax rates, he said our debt was the biggest threat facing the country. And Hillary Clinton and (and probably Kerry) chimed in, accordingly.

But now it’s the Republican spending cuts. And, of course, global warming. (Which Kerry has long claimed is more dangerous than Iran getting nuclear weapon.)

The State Department has said automatic spending cuts would jeopardize $2.6 billion in aid, security assistance and other international programs.

Money that could be going to Pakistan and tinhorn dictators.

Kerry said legislators need to avoid "senseless cuts."

Mr. Obama will decide what gets cut, if anything. Talk to him.

Otherwise, he said his credibility as a diplomat might be damaged.

Kerry said, "Think about it: It’s hard to tell the leadership of any number of countries that they must resolve their economic issues if we don’t resolve our own."

Does he mean those other countries that are trying to reduce their debt through spending cuts? Like those in Europe, and indeed, most of the rest of the world?

John Kerry, multi, multi-millionaire courtesy of banging a dead Senator’s widow. A widow who inherited all the Family Fortune after coming to America as a sweet bumpkin girl from a poor, bedraggled African country.

Just a girl and her dreams.

Of snagging a rich Senator with a gigantic family fortune built on the Father’s hard work and exceptional business skills. Then she put all that money she did not earn to work building the carapace and hollow dream-factory known as John “War Hero” Kerry.

Can you even imagine the Karma these two grifters face?

    • Petronius says:

John “War Hero” Kerry: This disgraceful nomination is an insult to 58,000 Vietnam War dead, to our MIAs, to every Vietnam War vet, to every Iraq War vet, to every American veteran and soldier everywhere.

his credibility as a diplomat might be damaged Bwaaahhahahahahahahaha!
This man doesn’t have any credibility as a human being to damage, much less as a senator, or a diplomat. Even so, name one single country that respects the United States of Obama? Even our allies know that they can’t trust our government. Would that our own population were as aware as everyone else.

Interestingly not much “NIGHTLY NEWS” on the Heinz stock fiasco being investigated by the SEC. Which of course
will turn out to be nothing to be concerned about as it will be some minor glitch caused by computer error from those hackers from China or Iran. US Military will order only one brand of Ketchup as per executive order.

The main media overlooked the lying Sec of State John Kerry making world wide terror alert on U.S. travelers just one day prior to his lying and saying the GOP is greatest threat to U.S.

John Kerry did a lousy job getting warning to U.S. Citizens, while the rest of the world news is
    covering the threat.

I did find this warning in this “Business” magazine.

I had to google Sec of State site to make sure the Kerry did indeed make the warning.

And why the DHS hasn’t announced also is beyond me.
