LA School Emulates May Day Parades

From a selectively outraged Associated Press:

3 LA teachers removed over choice of black heroes

By Christina Hoag, Associated Press Writer Wed Mar 3

LOS ANGELES – Three Los Angeles elementary school teachers accused of giving children portraits of O.J. Simpson, Dennis Rodman and RuPaul to carry in a Black History Month parade have been removed from their classrooms, a school district spokeswoman said Wednesday.

Children from other classes at the school displayed photos of more appropriate black role models, such as Nelson Mandela, Harriet Tubman and President Barack Obama, Los Angeles Unified School District spokeswoman Gayle Pollard-Terry said.

The incident occurred Friday at Wadsworth Avenue Elementary School in South Los Angeles, where the student body is more than 90 percent Latino.

District Superintendent Ramon Cortines placed the teachers — all white men who teach first, second and fourth grades — on administrative leave on Tuesday while an investigation is conducted, Pollard-Terry said.

One wonders if these teachers are white or ‘Latino.’ These designations tend to vary, depending on circumstances.

"The superintendent will not let anyone make a mockery out of Black History Month," she said.

The issue was brought to district officials’ attention by the Los Angeles chapter of the NAACP after the organization received a complaint early Monday, chapter President Leon Jenkins said.

Jenkins said he felt the teachers acted in concert to mock black heroes and children’s innocence.

"These are not the people we want our young people to emulate or believe these people represent the best of the African-American community," Jenkins said. "It’s hard for the NAACP to believe this was a mistake."

It sounds to us that Messrs Rodham and Paul have a defamation suit against the NAACP.

By the way, isn’t this the same NAACP that just gave the former Obama acolyte Mr. Anthony "Van" Jones, an avowed communist and ‘9/11 truther,’ one of its coveted “Image Awards”? — In fact, a special "President’s Award."

Simpson, a former NFL star, is serving a nine-year prison sentence for robbery and kidnapping. He was famously acquitted in 1995 of murdering his ex-wife and her friend.

RuPaul is a drag queen performer.

Hold on a minute. Isn’t the NAACP committing a ‘hate crime’ here?

Rodman, a former NBA star, has gained notoriety for bad boy behavior on and off the basketball court.

Some parents at the school on Wednesday said the issue was overblown.

Sharon Tinson, who has two daughters at the school and attended Friday’s celebration, said she had been surprised to see Simpson displayed in the parade. But she noted that Simpson, like Rodman, was a great athlete before falling from grace. RuPaul simply has an alternative lifestyle, she added.

She noted the event also included a tribute to pop singer Michael Jackson, who has also had a checkered career.

"I kind of laughed at it," Tinson said. "I wasn’t offended."

Gabriel Blackson, whose son attends the school, said he also took a larger view of the ruckus.

"These guys were heroes before. People make mistakes," he said. "I think they show kids they can be somebody, to push them to be somebody."

Jenkins said he is calling for the teachers to be fired.

Is Black History Month the new May Day?

Are we going to emulate the old Soviet Union and the current dictatorships of Red China and North Korea by having inculcated school children march in parades holding up posters of our state-approved heroes?

What has happened to our country?

Shouldn’t the supervisors who allowed this parade to happen be the ones who are facing removal and termination?

Why, I don’t know what all the fuss is about. It isn’t as if the teachers gave them a picture of a REAL criminal to carry in the parade.

They might have given the students pictures of Obama to carry, so at least they took the high road, so to speak.

I believe that the teachers poor choices would have been ignored were they black.
Considering the poor role models being recognized by minority groups and formerly laudable organizations like the Nobel committee, these gentlemen are not out of line for the type of ‘fuzzy’ thinking we see from the left.

Pagan, meaning Luciferian roots of May Day.

May Day is the highest day of celebration and power of all occult societies. May Day is Beltane’s Day, a pagan sun god mimicking in name and office all the sun gods before. May Day is appropriated by the International Worker’s Union and every communist movement as ‘their’ day for a variety of reasons chief of which is the ancient practice that on the first day of May all social and governmental stations were abandoned, all were ‘equal’ on this day. Debauched revelry was the rule exceeding even that of Sodom and Gomorrah rivaling the cults of Dionysus.

In the Satanic Calendar, April 30 -into- May 1st is the bridge from Walpurgis Night into Beltane’s Day, in the dark of the night transition is the occult’s holiest ritual time for blood and human sacrifice. The success of these incantations and evil works is celebrated in the daylight of Beltane’s Day identical to the 24/7 celebrations and human sacrifices at the Pergamon Altar in Greece. Celebrations of successful calling forth demonic spirits to work out their spells upon mankind continue until May 24, their Ascension Day, a hideous crescendo of satanic rites to mock the ascension of Jesus Christ.

It shocks me not at all that the Los Angeles School District with their foul ‘unions’ would inculcate our children into the beginnings of their luciferian dramas … blindly without any knowledge of what they do.

Reminds me of the pusher … “Hey, kid, c’mon. The first taste is free.”

Of course, utterly befuddled by a world created by Almighty God, the stupidest among us focus on Race after we fought two great civil wars in this nation to free ourselves of the stench of ‘Race’ … and continue to wallow in the trenches of debasing all that is good.

Like hogs to the trough. Like hogs to the trough.

Any reason Thomas Sowell and Justice Thomas weren’t celebrated?

    (sorry … couldn’t help myself)

Why is it when anyone who is not black mentions ANYTHING about Simpson, Rodman, Van Jones, black-on-black crime, out-of-wedlock birth rates, black prison populations, school drop-out rates………well, you get the picture, the NAACP, Jesse, Al, Louis, Jeremiah, Shirley, Sheila, C. Rangel, J. Conyers, and a whole host of self-righteous race-baiters scurry like cockroaches to claim RACISM and HATE SPEECH is running rampant, and that these fine examples of black citizenry are being smeared?

Do they suddenly find that these folks aren’t exactly ‘role models’ worthy of recognition? Why is that? Don’t the self-same defenders of these paragons find such aberrant behavior as repulsive as the rest of us? If they do, why the fuss? If they don’t, why the outrage?

Inquiring minds want to know the answers.

  5. Rusty Shackleford says:

Yes, the teachers “acted stupidly”. (I need no further information.)

Now, let’s everyone have a beer!

Did you know that March is Frozen Food Month?

    • saccharin says:

It’s also Foot Health Month, Humorists Are Artist Month, National Furniture Refinishing Month, National Noodle Month, National Peanut Month and National Women’s History Month.

And today, March 5th, is Multiple Personalities Day.

So walk to your nearest eatery and treat you other self to a peanut noodle salad.

    • mr_bill says:

Only one day for multiple personalities?!

  7. canary says:

If the 3 teachers had not been white, the NAACP would not have been involved.
