My husband went to Whole Foods for the first time this morning. A warning for those who have never been there -- when the checkout clerk asks you what kind of bags you want, don't say PLASTIC!!! It's not one of the choices... paper or reusable.....

Well this confirms it - I will add Whole Foods back into my mix.

I sent a note to Krogers - along with my little 'trace my purchases' card - that I was offended beyond reason that the Union (UFCWIU) had posted signs - bought and owned by the Union Shop. I went to the UFCWIU website (and now it's healthcare) but then it was Amnesty -front and center - that did it. The response was 'We will let your concerns be known at the Board Meeting and we are sorry you won't be shopping with us anymore.' Nada about a Union supporting Amnesty - the arrogance and hypocrisy is beyond me.

I boycott Nestle - it was hard in the beginning ('79) as well three of my fav products are Nestle corp products - the chocolate, my contact lens solution and a certain Italian line. But after a while - it has become easier, until now - it is second nature. I did it - not for a simple political ideology of one person but because Nestle violates in the most egregious backhanded ways the local & UN & WHO codes/laws concerning the pushing of formula upon women. Sell it, advertise it - that is legal and ok by me - but to go into hospitals dressed in white and push it onto women in the form of an 'authority' figure - that is over the line. And so I boycott.

I am the same way now with GE and kind of po'd that Sam's Club only seems to carry GE appliances and now only GE eco lighting. What a shame. I do believe that GE is indeed signed onto the C(r)ap & Trade(off) scam simply to rake in the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$. At our Freedom, Individuality and RIGHTS expense. Talk about a monopoly in the making.

I don't do our local Farmers Market (which is a bummer as it is one of the oldest in the country) as they have gone eco wild too. Makes me want to gag. Stopped two mag subscriptions due to that too - I am not the latest fad type of person. Besides I've been recycling, cooking my own natural food (and now attempting to grow it) and so on - before it was cool - Where is my bennies for that - will it ever be acknowledged or count? Will hit Whole Foods this week and up their vile, evil profit margin a bit.

Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) submits Patients Choice Act S1099
Says Obama's health care will hurt rural areas, which by the way in his Dreams book, he is extremely bitter of people that live in suburbans. Also, some interesting factors on Canada's Health Care. I saw where Obama meeting with Canadian Pres, Obama saying that some thought Canada health bad, America had the afraid of the boogey man mentality towards health care reform. The Canandian President even admitted to Obama that they service is slow and backlogged. Obama didn't catch it. I think Canada wants to warn us.
The Patients Choice Act S1099 puts the health care "in the states" decisions.
Ever since Obama was elected it's as if he does not acknowledge that there are state rights. Just like Carter, high taxes and one world order. Both hate the Jews, and both hate the U.S. soldiers. State Power. Dang, Obama's entire families moved and traveled the states and world so much. People deserve to live where they feel rooted and at home. State Power. I want to know I can move to a different state if it means getting out of state I don't like. State power is important. Obama and all his community this and community that. Well State Power.

Whole Foods thrives after thefts greatly reduce, after Liberals boycott their stores.
Liberals are outraged that Whole Foods supplies health care to their employers.
Liberals willing to risk poorer health, since they know the government will fix them and make them all better.

Serious video. Liberals cheer as Illinoise democrat says private health insurance needed to be frightened, they are no more. Govt health care is superior. No more private health insurance.

I think the scariest town hall speech was Obama's in Arnold Missourie, that paying social security to the elderly will mean, parks closing, wounded soldiers dying. Abortions will lower those paying Social Security and only solution is to kill the old people off. And it's Obama's smirking arrogance about it. He lowers those lids over his shifty eyes, purses his lips in this smirky grin. Obama did not go back to Indonesia after Mother got her doctorite, cause Grandparents spoiled him, and he enjoyed trying to drive his grandfather crazy. He refused to say he had a whities in his family. He even hated black school mates that didn't strut and use the "n" word like the other blacks did. Called them Uncle Toms, because they just were themselves. He wrote he finally gave up his youthful swagger, using the hip, when he realized it might be keeping him from being elected.

Mr. Mackey, you just got yourself a customer for life. I like the way you think.

I asked an Obamacare supporter at the Alhambra CA Town Hall if she'd donate $500 a year to a fund for uninsured citizens, and she said, I kid you not, "Why would I want to do that?"

< mgs's fiance, "open minds" often have closed ears... It indeed disappoints me that one of the meanings of "Liberal" found in Websters is quite disgustingly skewed.

favoring or permitting freedom of action, esp. with respect to matters of personal belief or expression: a liberal policy toward dissident artists and writers.

of or pertaining to representational forms of government rather than aristocracies and monarchies.
free from prejudice or bigotry; tolerant: a liberal attitude toward foreigners.

open-minded or tolerant, esp. free of or not bound by traditional or conventional ideas, values, etc.

characterized by generosity and willingness to give in large
^particularly this statement, true gluttony IMHO. Spoiled little brats. :)

Ehhh, still too expensive for me. We go once maybe once a month to pick up some specialty items, and never seem to get more than one or two bags for the $50-$70 we commonly spend. Still, it is interesting as I made the assumption that the CEO was of similar stock to the communist, dread-locked, rubber chicken, 'Obama 2008' bumper sticker carrying folks that usually shop there....huge surprise to read his editorial but yeah, expensive store. We like the Farmer's Market better for our organic needs.

RB:

Believe the Pelosi's are out of the wine business. Sadly, they still have part of Auberge du Soleil - my favorite hotel in the wine country - until now.

Need to add:

Costco. Very left.
Consumer Reports. Ditto.

If the idea was to live in America and boycott liberals and not give money to liberal causes, I don't think you could do it. The most insidious way it's all going down is the "for every box of oatmeal you buy, we give $1 to...".
The ungodly amount of institutional giving to liberals by major corporations is just unfathomable.
That's to say nothing of what happens to our tax dollars.
And what happens in our court rooms.
