Yeah 1st, that’s my favorite lie:

RESTAURANT: “Look, all you have to do is go down Union Street with me in Wilmington or go to Katie’s Restaurant or walk into Home Depot with me where I spend a lot of time and you ask anybody in there whether or not the economic and foreign policy of this administration has made them better off in the last eight years.”

According to this Delaware site, Katie’s Restaurant is no longer in business; locals remember it on Union Street 25 to 30 years ago.

Maybe “say it ain’t so, Joe” still goes there for coffee every now and then. (But, who is he having conversations with?) LOL

NRO has found more , claims the lie count is up to about 22 now.

I think the biggest whopper that Biden told was when he stated that back in 2006 Obama warned about Fan/Fred but the GOP was asleep at the switch, or something to that effect. Biden actually insinuated that Obama was advocating more regulation of Fan/Fred but I think when they say regulation what he really means is he didn’t want mortgage lenders to foreclose on delinquent mortgage holders. No deadbeats in Obamaworld, just victims of greedy bankers. Poor man’s need of a white man’s greed. Or some such rot.

I dare say there’s a big distinction between the type of regulation McCain was proposing (limiting Mortgage Backed Securities offered by Fan/Fred, at the core of the current fin’l meltdown, & what Obama was requesting.)

This needs more delving into. That’s putting it mildly.

Well this is sorta trivial but he mentioned visiting a resturant in his neighborhood named “Katies”

Problem is , Katies has been out of business for over 15 years.
