Maybe it's because they think the job of custodian is beneath most Americans or too menial. But the starting pay is much more generous than most entry level jobs out there. And even if it's a job you don't like, it's better than having no job at all. In the middle ages the worst, foulest job was that of the gong farmer. His job was literally to go around the manor, castle, etc. and clean out all the waste buckets. Interestingly enough, he was paid a lot better than the average serf because no one else would do the job. And somebody had to do it. I don’t know why the MSM is making a big deal out of this.
