Reuters: Mexicans Rescue 165 ‘Kidnapped’ Illegal Aliens

From Reuters:

Police rescue 165 kidnapped migrants in Mexican border state

By Lizbeth Diaz | July 10, 2014

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexican state police rescued 165 migrants [sic] who had been kidnapped while traveling to the United States in the crime-ridden border state of Tamaulipas, authorities said on Thursday. The migrants, mostly from Cuba, Honduras, and El Salvador, said they were beaten and in some cases sexually abused, the Tamaulipas state government said in a statement.

Some of the migrants, who had been held captive for up to three weeks, reported watching kidnappers kill a couple and their child, the state government added. State police detained three men for the alleged crimes.

Tamaulipas, in northeastern Mexico, is a battleground between the Gulf Cartel gang and its ultra-violent rivals the Zetas, who are involved in migrant smuggling, though it was not clear whether the three men who were detained were associated with either group.

What a coincidence that we would get a report like this right now! Clearly, Reuters is reporting this to reinforce the narrative that these people are only fleeing to the US to escape the gangs and drug cartels in their home countries.

But think about it. What are these illegal aliens doing to get here? They are paying the gangs and drug cartels to smuggle them. They are putting their lives in the hands of the very people they claim to be fleeing from.

Migrants caught by the Zetas who refuse to smuggle drugs or work for the gang can pay for it with their lives…

In other words, once they are on the hook with these gangs they are often forced to work for them as smugglers or human traffickers for the rest of their lives. In fact, how many of these illegal aliens will be turned over to these thugs once they are in the US? All the thugs have to do is claim they are a relative.

So what exactly are they escaping?
