Michael Moore Demands End Of Iraq Funds Now
From the despicable America-hater’s own site MichaelMoore.Com:
Cut and Run, the Only Brave Thing to Do
Wednesday, November 29th, 2006
Friends,
Monday marked the day that we had been in Iraq longer than we were in all of World War II.
That’s right. We were able to defeat all of Nazi Germany, Mussolini, and the entire Japanese empire in LESS time than it’s taken the world’s only superpower to secure the road from the airport to downtown Baghdad.
And we haven’t even done THAT. After 1,347 days, in the same time it took us to took us to sweep across North Africa, storm the beaches of Italy, conquer the South Pacific, and liberate all of Western Europe, we cannot, after over 3 and 1/2 years, even take over a single highway and protect ourselves from a homemade device of two tin cans placed in a pothole. No wonder the cab fare from the airport into Baghdad is now running around $35,000 for the 25-minute ride. And that doesn’t even include a friggin’ helmet.
Is this utter failure the fault of our troops? Hardly. That’s because no amount of troops or choppers or democracy shot out of the barrel of a gun is ever going to "win" the war in Iraq. It is a lost war, lost because it never had a right to be won, lost because it was started by men who have never been to war, men who hide behind others sent to fight and die.
Let’s listen to what the Iraqi people are saying, according to a recent poll conducted by the University of Maryland:
** 71% of all Iraqis now want the U.S. out of Iraq.
** 61% of all Iraqis SUPPORT insurgent attacks on U.S. troops.
Yes, the vast majority of Iraqi citizens believe that our soldiers should be killed and maimed! So what the hell are we still doing there? Talk about not getting the hint.
There are many ways to liberate a country. Usually the residents of that country rise up and liberate themselves. That’s how we did it. You can also do it through nonviolent, mass civil disobedience. That’s how India did it. You can get the world to boycott a regime until they are so ostracized they capitulate. That’s how South Africa did it. Or you can just wait them out and, sooner or later, the king’s legions simply leave (sometimes just because they’re too cold). That’s how Canada did it.
The one way that DOESN’T work is to invade a country and tell the people, "We are here to liberate you!" — when they have done NOTHING to liberate themselves. Where were all the suicide bombers when Saddam was oppressing them? Where were the insurgents planting bombs along the roadside as the evildoer Saddam’s convoy passed them by? I guess ol’ Saddam was a cruel despot — but not cruel enough for thousands to risk their necks. "Oh no, Mike, they couldn’t do that! Saddam would have had them killed!" Really? You don’t think King George had any of the colonial insurgents killed? You don’t think Patrick Henry or Tom Paine were afraid? That didn’t stop them. When tens of thousands aren’t willing to shed their own blood to remove a dictator, that should be the first clue that they aren’t going to be willing participants when you decide you’re going to do the liberating for them.
A country can HELP another people overthrow a tyrant (that’s what the French did for us in our revolution), but after you help them, you leave. Immediately. The French didn’t stay and tell us how to set up our government. They didn’t say, "we’re not leaving because we want your natural resources." They left us to our own devices and it took us six years before we had an election. And then we had a bloody civil war. That’s what happens, and history is full of these examples. The French didn’t say, "Oh, we better stay in America, otherwise they’re going to kill each other over that slavery issue!"
The only way a war of liberation has a chance of succeeding is if the oppressed people being liberated have their own citizens behind them — and a group of Washingtons, Jeffersons, Franklins, Gandhis and Mandellas leading them. Where are these beacons of liberty in Iraq? This is a joke and it’s been a joke since the beginning. Yes, the joke’s been on us, but with 655,000 Iraqis now dead as a result of our invasion (source: Johns Hopkins University), I guess the cruel joke is on them. At least they’ve been liberated, permanently.
So I don’t want to hear another word about sending more troops (wake up, America, John McCain is bonkers), or "redeploying" them, or waiting four months to begin the "phase-out." There is only one solution and it is this: Leave. Now. Start tonight. Get out of there as fast as we can. As much as people of good heart and conscience don’t want to believe this, as much as it kills us to accept defeat, there is nothing we can do to undo the damage we have done. What’s happened has happened. If you were to drive drunk down the road and you killed a child, there would be nothing you could do to bring that child back to life. If you invade and destroy a country, plunging it into a civil war, there isn’t much you can do ‘til the smoke settles and blood is mopped up. Then maybe you can atone for the atrocity you have committed and help the living come back to a better life.
The Soviet Union got out of Afghanistan in 36 weeks. They did so and suffered hardly any losses as they left. They realized the mistake they had made and removed their troops. A civil war ensued. The bad guys won. Later, we overthrew the bad guys and everybody lived happily ever after. See! It all works out in the end!
The responsibility to end this war now falls upon the Democrats. Congress controls the purse strings and the Constitution says only Congress can declare war. Mr. Reid and Ms. Pelosi now hold the power to put an end to this madness. Failure to do so will bring the wrath of the voters. We aren’t kidding around, Democrats, and if you don’t believe us, just go ahead and continue this war another month. We will fight you harder than we did the Republicans. The opening page of my website has a photo of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, each made up by a collage of photos of the American soldiers who have died in Bush’s War. But it is now about to become the Bush/Democratic Party War unless swift action is taken.
This is what we demand:
1. Bring the troops home now. Not six months from now. NOW. Quit looking for a way to win. We can’t win. We’ve lost. Sometimes you lose. This is one of those times. Be brave and admit it.
2. Apologize to our soldiers and make amends. Tell them we are sorry they were used to fight a war that had NOTHING to do with our national security. We must commit to taking care of them so that they suffer as little as possible. The mentally and physically maimed must get the best care and significant financial compensation. The families of the deceased deserve the biggest apology and they must be taken care of for the rest of their lives.
3. We must atone for the atrocity we have perpetuated on the people of Iraq. There are few evils worse than waging a war based on a lie, invading another country because you want what they have buried under the ground. Now many more will die. Their blood is on our hands, regardless for whom we voted. If you pay taxes, you have contributed to the three billion dollars a week now being spent to drive Iraq into the hellhole it’s become. When the civil war is over, we will have to help rebuild Iraq. We can receive no redemption until we have atoned.
In closing, there is one final thing I know. We Americans are better than what has been done in our name. A majority of us were upset and angry after 9/11 and we lost our minds. We didn’t think straight and we never looked at a map. Because we are kept stupid through our pathetic education system and our lazy media, we knew nothing of history. We didn’t know that WE were the ones funding and arming Saddam for many years, including those when he massacred the Kurds. He was our guy. We didn’t know what a Sunni or a Shiite was, never even heard the words. Eighty percent of our young adults (according to National Geographic) were not able to find Iraq on the map. Our leaders played off our stupidity, manipulated us with lies, and scared us to death. But at our core we are a good people. We may be slow learners, but that "Mission Accomplished" banner struck us as odd, and soon we began to ask some questions. Then we began to get smart. By this past November 7th, we got mad and tried to right our wrongs. The majority now know the truth. The majority now feel a deep sadness and guilt and a hope that somehow we can make make it all right again.
Unfortunately, we can’t. So we will accept the consequences of our actions and do our best to be there should the Iraqi people ever dare to seek our help in the future. We ask for their forgiveness.
We demand the Democrats listen to us and get out of Iraq now.
Yours,
Michael Moore

Or what Mikey?
You going to vote for Republicans?
November 30th, 2006 at 5:57 pm
Yeah like we are going to actually run our war and foreign policy on the rantings of a fat, lying college dropout who got his seed money for his ‘crockamentary’ business by suing his first employer.
Cut and Run is the only brave thing to do - the Land Whale wouldn’t know brave if it bit him in the ass (’course he couldn’t feel it either). . .

one could also argue that we had no right to declare war on germany in 1941. after all it was Japan that attacked us not Germany. also does FDR get a dispensation regarding his non-military service because of his bout with polio? also the reductive argument that a civilian leader cannot commit troops if he or she has not served in combat. last time i checked the next president (and smartest woman in the world) did not serve in any branch of the armed services. when the s*&@t hits the fan during her first administration will she not use force to defend America’s strategic interests in the world?

one could also argue that we had no right to declare war on germany in 1941. after all it was Japan that attacked us not Germany.
Actually, not very effectively. One of Hitler’s biggest mistakes was to declare war against the U.S. after we declared war on Japan. We declared war against Germany in return, and the rest, as they say, is history.

“kept stupid through our pathetic education system and our lazy media”
Is this an attack on our invasion of Iraq or an explanation for people buying tickets to see Fahrenheit 911?
November 30th, 2006 at 7:40 pm
Aren’t libs like Mikey in charge of education?
November 30th, 2006 at 7:41 pm
Mike Moore-on’s rant does’nt deserve any comment, his words speak for losers! Nuff said. I did get to read a letter home from a Navy fighter pilot and local Hero yesterday. He just flew his first mission and with parent’s OK I’ll see if I can share it with all of you. His Dad is a dairy farmer that I did some work for, and like most everyday people wonders how he raised a Hero. GOD I LOVE THIS COUNTRY!!!! Can’t say much more for now till I clear it with the family, but it shows the heart and commitment of our best and brightest.

They just are.

So this student of fashion and history wants to compare Iraq with WWII? Fair enough, Mikey. We’ll leave right after we have two nuclear strikes and a couple thousand carpet bombing raids. Deal?

1st, They just seem to stand up, see what has to be done and then DO IT… Bless them all. Got to go on a no heat call, talk at ya later, seeyabye.

The sad thing is, very few of them are Honored as the Heros they are.

Michael Moore? Instead of cutting funds for Iraq….we should consider cutting his fat freaking head off that tubby horrid bacon rind flab ridden cholesterol sequestered poor excuse for a human body. This fat hog is nothing…he made his money off the stupidity of others, just like his Democratic power grabbers are doing right now. That wottle jowled hippo’s dick with ears is a reverse human waste treatment plant. Where he is concerned, clean good facts go in, and fetid pus filled maggot ridden thoughts ooze out of his turd hole mouth. He is one person I can safely say I could literally beat unrecognizable with my tater stick, and laugh while he bled to death. He is astoundingly scummy, and his breath smells like the snag’s panties after a thirty hour sit in. Hate doesnt begin to cover it, and I would enjoy duct taping his mouth to the muzzle of a 120mm smoothbore cannon with a canister round in it, and give the lanyard to the snag, telling her if she pulls it, two thousand pounds of flesh colored twinkies will decorate the crawford peace house.

SJ Thanks for making me laugh and hurl at the same time.
Michael Moore is just an unwashed, Dung gobbler.
His only sexual experience was when he mistook his winkey for a hot dog, wrapped a bun around it and slapped some relish on it, Oh well a snags gotta eat.

Gee, if Mickey Moor-on wants us out of Iraq so badly, he wouldn’t mind if we drop a large mega tonner on Sadr City and do what we should have done a long time ago, take out Al Sadr. But then he would be crying about all the “collateral” damage and the poor terrorists who lost their lives for Al-Ileah.
November 30th, 2006 at 10:32 pm
Of course the next step is for the dems to cut the funding, as they did in Vietnam. And they no doubt will because they long for another Vietnam. Nothing makes a dem happier than to surrender and have a generation of soldiers and citizens relying on them to help them carry on somehow.
Sadly, I do see us leaving Iraq and thus ending America’s last war. If the world’s greatest military isn’t allowed to kill this enemy, what could it possibly be used for in the future? All jihadists will see this as the mighty Americans surrendering to them. Just as in Europe, most Americans won’t know they’re even in a fight until it’s already too late to win.
If only our leaders weren’t afraid to show the might of the United States. The might that so many men and women have worked and died to provide to the most spoiled and oblivious generation of Americans. But such a demonstration of power and greatness might make a special interest group uncomfortable, and we can’t have that.
If you fellow S&Lers haven’t yet read Mark Steyn’s “America Alone”, I encourage you to. It’s so well written and entertaining, but be warned: it will scare the sh*t out of you and depress you. Like you couldn’t tell from my pessimistic tone huh?

It is hard to make a libtard happy.
Not that I care. ;-)
November 30th, 2006 at 11:02 pm
It wont be the last war. The last war will be fought on American soil and the libs will be the first casualties along with the muslims and the rest of the minorities.
November 30th, 2006 at 11:29 pm
Everytime I see that f*cking a$$holes face I really want to commit a violent act upon it. If he lived in another generation, during WWII for example, he would either be dead from a strange or unknown cause or be in jail. Why have we come to this America? God only knows.
December 1st, 2006 at 12:14 am
To me, and obviously to a lot of us, the next last great war we ever fight will be on our soil, and against easily spotted muslim extremists…and difficult to spot turncoat next door neighbors. American will take on a special meaning….and will be used to describe only those who will not compromise their principles of freedom for anything other than that very freedom. Nothing less will be tolerated, and nothing less will be acceptable. Talks, bargains, promises, threats will all be treated as the dung they are. Nothing less than America will be the answer for any and all who are unfortunate enough to stand against us. The one thing these people who plot our demise should understand… I, Mr. American, will never subjugate myself or others to anything short of total victory over the enemies of this country and it’s society. I can live with myself, knowing the consequences of my actions may in fact result in my death. But, I would rather die for freedom, than live for defeat and subjugation. As for the viewpoints other than that of Americans….I dont care anymore. Dont open your mouth lest you risk an entire new meaning of the word “tolerance”. That tolerance is how closely my gunsmith made the bolt action on my .308. That is the only tolerance I care about.
Extreme? Uh, yup! Myopic? Yup again! Foolish? perhaps, but I refuse to become democratic. Or liberal. I dont have the sheep mindset that allows me to be misled. I dont have the surrender gene that infects the liberal voters. I dont possess the character flaws that give me the care less attitude as I sell out my entire country for the sake of temporary power.
From where I sit, things dont look so swell. But, from where I read…here…things look like “they” will have a difficult time making it work for themselves and their new masters. I plan to make double sure that they do. As long as it takes, as long as I can. That is the motto of the new American. As long as it takes, as long as I can. The answer to “what can we do about it?”. Repeat as necessary.
People like walrus cock here, MM the urethra of society, know they are not going to escape unscathed. This is what I mean about for us, or against us. Protecting him is not for us, is it? taking his money is not for us either….see? It is simple if the rules have no by laws or loop holes. For us, against us. Nothing other than that.
Who decides? Who makes that determination? Well, in the beginning, whoever is within my range finder gets my decision. After the herd is culled, and the gene pool cleansed a tad…then perhaps there can be a more civil way to deal with things. As long as it is black and white. No middle ground. None. Ever. No negotiations, no deals, no excuses, no reasons, no anything. that is going to be difficult for a lot of people. I learned the hard way that it doesnt work. It will this time, however.
December 1st, 2006 at 3:08 am
I really don’t thing they will be all that hard to spot SJ. I get the feeling that when the sh*t hits the fan here at home, instead of the North vs the South, it will be the middle against each coast. I am not worried about “target selection”….I can spot a “metrosexual” a mile away and with a good Bushnell scope that’s all I need. And these IPod listening, day planner toting, latte drinking fruit loops will last about 30 seconds in the bush. I have been known to lay silently in wait for hours, not making a sound….just for a few venison steaks and some jerky. You think these buttplugs can wait me out without Serge ringing em up on the ole cellie about which coffee to buy at Starbucks? And while my sight isn’t what it once was, I can hear a Fergie ringtone just fine and zero in….and then it’s, adios amigos.
The east and west coasters think they can show us so much in regards to living and they wouldn’t last 5 minutes with no Sach’s, Weight Watcher’s ready made meals to nuke, or a close proximatey to a cell tower. Those on each coast already feel like their urban mentality makes them superior to us in the “red” states and we should just listen to them for our own good. Just like Tubby. He thinks he knows better than the rest of us….nevermind he has no formal education…..unlike millions of “red” staters…..shoot, maybe if he was so damn smart he would realize he is a walking stroke/heart attack and stop shovelling Big Macs in his face like armageddon wasn’t tomorrow. Or stop lying to people to turn a buck. Or the benefits of a razor, soap and water, or a comb. Frankly if this turd burgler was in the lobby of my corporation stalking me, I wouldn’t talk to him either. No wonder execs ignore him….he looks like a skid row sterno bum or one of those dudes on the freeway on ramps with the cardboard signs bumming change.
Let these hammerheads try to pull funding. They have yet to experience a little procedure I lovingly refer to as “cloture”. Remember all the sh*t the Republican House and Senate experienced when trying to get something to a straight up or down vote? A simple majority doesn’t get it sportsfans. You gotta have 60 to shut down debate, defeat a filabuster and force a vote. So their slim majority in the House and 51 in the Senate doesn’t get them sh*t but the chair on all the committes. That and maybe the scorn from the American public when after 2 years they haven’t done a damn thing they promised to get into power. What’s also funny is that if they manage to sneak something past, Bush can just whip out the old veto pen and flush it right down the crapper. Hell, he doesn’t have to run again, so screw it. Let them whine. So if they try to attach it to some extremely necessary bill, it can pass and the Republicans can leave it to Bush to kill. They all ran away from him in the last election, so why not the next?
So, what they really get with their simple majorities and not “super” majorities is committee chairmanships, choice offices and supeona power. So they can harrass Bush for the next 2 years. I think this is going to backfire on them big time. In spite of the Clintons being basically pond scum and deserving EVERY BIT OF investigating they got….folks from BOTH sides didn’t like or see it as productive. They don’t understand or particularly care for this type of “governing”. I think after Nixon and the way the country “felt”, how ashamed we were and how just plain “dirty” it made us all feel…..you had better have a world class case of UBER malfeasance before you start tying up critical time and resources with your petty blame game and political posturing. Look at Regan….Iran/Contra scandal didn’t soil him too bad. People didn’t care to see Ollie and Fawn up there wasting time talking about shreadded docs and guns for communist haters. Regan beat Mondale like he stole something. What did Dennis Miller say? “He beat Mondale 438 to 3. He got 3 electorial votes…..Hell, he only got 3 more than me and I didn’t even run.” People are just tired of the war because we are too damn impatient. A lot of folks want sh*t to happen over night and just simply won’t except that things take time. Too much fast food, instant coffee, microwaves and MTV I guess. But that doesn’t mean for one second that people aren’t freaking terrified of these Muslim nutbags and when push comes to shove…will shove. So carping about the duration….well that plays…..wasting taxpayer money and time they should be spending doing the sh*t they promised they would do to simply grind a political axe or two….big mistake. They will be out on their collective asses in ‘08 faster than you can say “Jack Robinson”. Folks are tired of how long it is taking in Iraq, but won’t forget that to a man, EVERYBODY in power wanted to go.
So let them investigate all they want. Propose all the ridiculous legislation their whacko, nutball, moonbat special interest groups can muster. In 2 years, most won’t be able to get elected dog catcher.
Sorry for the length of this rant. Been away a bit. Miss me?

What would Michael Moore know about brave?

Gee, I thought Mikey was a liberal. Turns out he’s an anarchist.. doesn’t like any politician. So now I’m looking forward to his next film “Fahrenheit 0, the Nancy Pelosi Story” where he bashes the dhimmis.
Every time I see his face all I can think is….”Oink, oink.”
Wish I had all my guns to help ya’ll, but I live in another country. Thanks to Madeline not so Bright but Twice as Ugly my own government has taken my weapons away and now I have to jump through hoops to get at least some of them back. I used to think that gun registration was a good thing, but in the hands of liberals it will bite you.
Never, ever, ever vote Dhimmi.

So let me get this straight. If the Dems don’t do MM’s bidding, he’ll make sure they get thrown out of office next election. And replaced by what? Republicans? OK, sounds good to me. Surely he doesn’t think a Green Party candidate could win, even he is not that naive. But what arrogance. They squeak to victory by running the most conservative slate of candidates they have ever fielded, and interpret the victory as a liberal landslide. Talk about delusional.
December 1st, 2006 at 1:17 pm
This is great - leave it to an idiot who can’t muster a thought or idea of depth to inspire a great debate.
I agree sj - I saw MM at the dnc convention and his insipid - would you sacrifice your child - crappola and lost it. I went to Crawford to face him. Of course I learned the first lesson of dealing with a liberal - they are all lies. He did not show, claimed that he wanted Crawford to be about his movie not him Right . . Then I met those peace, justice, loving, kumbya singing tolerant beings from the Crawford Peace house. Let me say this - they scared me more than a bunch of drunk soldiers outside the E’club on a payday Friday nite. If looks could kill - I’d be dead (wearing a Home of the Free because of the the Brave T-shirt) and finally had a complete stranger give me the info I wanted. All these decent and fine people were charging more to view MM’s (donated) crockamentary than our local theater. Which most of the theaters in the area chose not to show the piece of trash because they are in the business to make money and in the counties surrounding the largest military post in the US during a war - it wasn’t going to make money. DUH.
I hate the baiting and utter stupidity of his drivel (sorry, can’t find a literary word that fits) and the utter contempt that this man (and those of his ilk) has for me and my entire family who are more than willing (not being sacrificed by someone else) to stand up and defend not only America - but right, goodness, values and anyone really, truly oppressed and threatened in the World. I hate these soft, rich priviledged morons who attack me and mine over and over again without consequence. I do not care what your opinion is - believe me this guy has said it over and over again - I have my own which is the exact opposite. So - who is right, who is wrong? Who decides? Let me say this - I think I am more right than this lying, duplicitous, poor excuse for a human being.
1st - I have a letter like that from my son - emailed to me while he was in Iraq (2003) I will see if I can find it - inspired a lot (and p***ed off the few lefties on the military support site where I posted it). Will try to find it again. Our armed forces get it - so simply put - WTF is the problem?
I think that the Military should be in charge of the War (and act like it) - not the stupid and soft congress critters. So here are some truths - if the people in congress would simply cut all the earmarks and pork that they are shuffling off to their own personal accounts or home to buy votes and cut all loopholes from the tax codes - America would have the money to take care of legitimate social services and to fight the GWOT. Secondly - this War is not unwinnable - if they would stop undermining the President and the Armed Forces and if the Military was free to really fight this War - it would be over and done with a damn site quicker.
He is a typical liberal - do as I say not as I do - and nothing is ever right in everyone not him - sickening. They should not be killed (that is wrong) - they should be sent to a state institution and confined for the protection of America. Problem is, if they don’t stfu, it will be the islamicfacist extremists who will solve the problem of ‘the left’ in America.

Question # 91:
If a Vehicular Jihadist drove the Phreaky Phred Phelps’ bus of inbreeds into Michael Moore’s abyssal navel, would the result be
a) an implosion under the gravity of self-righteous malevolence
b) an explosion of misdirected rage and desperate imbecility
c) a mess requiring a clean-up “job that Americans won’t do”
d) the most darkly satisfying web video of all time
e) all of the above
December 2nd, 2006 at 2:29 am
Phelps and his whole clan should have been ripped limb from limb.
I am not suprised that they ran like cowards from a fight that they started.
Is their faith that shallow?
Phelps you and your crowd are listed in many books, And trust me, None are the book of life.

Michael Moore knows as much about the realities of war as I do about 17th century Japanese literature….nothing.

JABBA HAS SPOKEN ! ! ! ! ! SO LET IT BE DONE…….
