FORD is the only one of the big 3 that is doing better than the others and they did not take the government money. The UAW now has a 56% controlling stock in Chrysler, is the company doing better? NO they are now protesting themselves over closing their Sterling Heights MI plant and a recent Auto magazine slammed the company for uninspired car designs.

And Michael Moore is certainly proof the American education system is failing.

He thinks we can install light or high speed rail as they have in Japan? Here's something for you:

Japan is approximately 145,883 sq mi. The United States is 3,794,066 sq mi, or 26 times the size of Japan.

I live in a suburb of Milwaukee and work in the rather rural area of Germantown. I have to drive to and from work in order to, you know, pay my bills. And Moore wants to punish me.

Barbie is absolutely correct:

From Moore’s main text:
‘The other front in this war is being waged by the oil companies against you and me. They are committed to fleecing us whenever they can’…

From Moore’s ’solutions’ #10:
‘To help pay for this, impose a two-dollar tax on every gallon of gasoline’.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

"Fleecing" is only done by companies. When the government raises taxes to astronomical levels, it's okay.

He's a moron. Don't like America, Mr. Moore? Move to Canada, Europe. Go ahead.

PR--Lots of pro-athletes, a majority of folks in the military, then look at the Hollywood conservatives/Republicans--Clint Eastwood, Charlton Heston, Dean Cain, Harrison Ford, Dennis Hopper, Robert Duvall, John Wayne, John Voigt, the gorgeous Angie Harmon, Patricia Heaton, in the media, the Fox News babes (Megyn Kelly, Martha Mac, Julie Banderas, et al), Elizabeth Hasselbeck, then there's Kathy Ireland, Kim Alexis Carrie Prejean, and the beautiful Sarah Palin just to rattle off a few more attractive types. Rugged, masculine or feminine and elegant, these are confident go-getters with a can-do attitude, like most Americans (would add Arnold, but the more liberal he gets, the uglier he becomes.)

This is the first time I've heard GM blamed for alcoholism and drug addiction. GM is probably responsible for cancer and earthquakes too. Is GM to blame for Moore's giant posterior as well?

curvy red - not only a lawsuit - but a film - Manufacturing Dissent. Made by someone who was a Moore believer until they found out that Moore had indeed met with Smith and that the footage was 'left on the cutting room floor'. It was interesting to see that Moore is every bit the evader, liar and jerk he makes those the target of his crockumentaries out to be.

“Well, Lefty; it looks like this is the end of the road for GM” sighed Shop Steward Joe.

“Yeah” agreed Union Guy Lefty. “I don’t know how I’m gonna tell the fellas: Pablo, Pancho, Paco, Luis, Ramon, Miguel, José…”

“They’re gonna take it pretty hard”.

“….José, Jésus, Juan, Francisco, Hernando, José...”

“They’ve all got families to feed”.

“…Enrique, Ricardo, Martin, José and José Junior. Hard workin’ union guys like them are the backbone of America!”

“You said it, brother” agreed Joe. “It was organized labor that made this company into what it is now – and what do we get for it?”

“Yeah, what?” said Lefty.

“I mean, when I started I used to have ta come in five days a week –five freakin’ days! I had ta be here by 9 o’clock and I hadda stay on the line until it was time for my first break at 9.30. In them days you only got two breaks before lunch – two lousy breaks! And then we only had an hour and a half for lunch and we even had ta bring it in ourselves – from home! No onsite restaurant for us! No sir! No lobster neither”.

“Yeah, it was grim”.

“We had ta stay here until almost 5 o’clock most days AND we was expected ta stay awake most of the time. AND they wouldn’t let us drink on the job – not like now. AND we only got two lousy weeks paid vacation AND only a month’s worth of personal days AND we had to build cars –sometimes two or three a week! Jeezus, I don’t know how we stood it, I really don’t”.

“Nightmare”.

“The Jews had it easy compared ta us auto workers. Thank God the Union stepped in and got all dat stuff fixed”.

“Yeah…fixed” said Lefty, taking a sip of his Long Island iced tea before pushing his chair back into the full ‘recline’ position. “Hey, didja notice that the line ain’t moved much lately? Them cars just been sittin’ there for weeks now. They’re gettin’ all dusty”.

“Yeah, dusty”.

“Oh well, what the hey? It ain’t our fault”.

“Nope”.

Hey Mike,

Looks like you're still coasting on the good old days of Roger & Me. Nice to see you'll get another five minutes of fame before you head back to oblivion. Everyone by now knows who you are, your tactics, your innate hatred, and don't want to be in your movies.

Never mind that GM cars last a lot longer than 2 years, or that "Planned Obsolescence" was a term invented by Bernard London in 1932, you still play fast and loose with the facts.

And yeah, gasoline won't last forever. But these artificial taxes to force us off it are only going to create more problems and line the pockets of people who don't deserve it. And what are all these mass transit vehicles going to run on? Hot air? Or electricity and diesel? And if your dream happens will the government give up the cap-n-trades and gas taxes once we're all alternative? I doubt it. Once a tax is in place it stays, look at England and the VAT for luxuries instated after WWII. It's still there. Meanwhile our enemies will go "those idiots" and keep on using gas.

And who'll control all these train and rail systems? A bunch of selfless hippies or yet another evil corporation you'll quickly despise? it's so easy to complain about everything, and much harder to actually fix it all, but you know that, don't you? This way you get to complain but not have to deal with fixing things. You can rejoice if it works out, and complain more when it doesn't. No blame on you for anything.

The market will only change when it really does start to run out. The time now is research and planning for it, not some wishful thinking that hybrids and alternative somethings will save us.

And Mike, enjoy these five minutes, they probably won't come again.

Michael Moore left his Flint home too for NYC and Hollywood. The multi-millionaire capitalist that preaches socialism, and flys his planes or copters instead of driving a GM car. He won't be in filthy Flint long. Probably just made another few million speaking at school graduations, poisioning the minds of our youth.

And the entire "roger and me" movie was actually based on a false premise, namely that the "roger" person would not meet with Michael, and later it turned out that he did indeed meet with him - but that would fly in the face of Michael's creative editing - so the footage did not make it into the movie - if I remember correctly there was actually a lawsuit filed against the filmakers.

Proreason: we have better looking men and women on our side, maybe that is why the libbies are so bitter.

It would be interesting to see a study of the physical attractiveness of prominent male liberals vs conservatives.

To cite a few liberals: Michael Moore, Chuckie Shumer, Henry Waxman, Drooling Barney, John Kerry, Harry Reid

To cite a few conservatives: Ronald Reagen, Mitt Romney, John Cornyn, George Bush,

I know there are plenty of counter examples.....but my hunch is that liberal self-loathing begins in high-school and is most prevalent in boys who are just plain ugly. Good looking boys have more self-confidence, and have no reason to hate themselves or their country.

To cite a few conservatives: Ronald Reagen, Mitt Romney, John Cornyn, George Bush,

I know there are plenty of counter examples…..but my hunch is that liberal self-loathing begins in high-school and is most prevalent in boys who are just plain ugly. Good looking boys have more self-confidence, and have no reason to hate themselves or their country.

You know what is so ironic - Michael Moore wouldn't be Michael Moore without those damn car companies - he made his shtick on Roger & Me (umm GM CEO) made with the money he won from a lawsuit against Mother Jones (take note lefties, they eat their own). Not to mention that this jackass grew up in Flint (well actually the rich suburb Davison).

So like all true Liberals - he has just spit upon everything and everyone who gave him his success.

I thank God everyday that I don't hate myself like Liberals - it must be a real bitc* to live like that.

"there are lots of fat, ugly, stupid losers just like you who are hurting for friends too"

Michael Moore and Drooling Baney should hook-up.

Then they would each have a friend.

Send drool cups for Christmas!!!

I love how he rhapsodizes about Japan's cross-country bullet trains but fails to realize there's a little difference between a country the size of Michigan and running 4000 miles of brand new high speed-engineered track.

But then again, liberals have never cared about details…

Michael Moore: "The company’s body not yet cold, and I find myself filled with — dare I say it — joy."

12 Gauge: "How can anyone take great delight in the fall of GM...?"

General Motors is the symbol of American capitalism. For Moore and millions like him, the bankruptcy of GM is the Liberal Death Wish triumphant. Liberals are like savages who take delight in all destruction.
