Doctor’s Letter to the Editor( Jackson , MS ) – Healthcare Issue

I found confirmation of this article in the Clarion Ledger in Jackson , MS before sending it on. Wish this was an article on the front page of every newspaper in America in large bold letters. I know that there are similar incidents in the ER of all hospitals.

This was a “letter to the editor” in August 29 Jackson , MS newspaper.

Dear Sirs:

“During my last night’s shift in the ER, I had the pleasure of evaluating a patient with a shiny new gold tooth, multiple elaborate tattoos, a very expensive brand of tennis shoes and a new cellular telephone equipped with her favorite R&B tune for a ringtone.
Glancing over the chart, one could not help noticing her payer status:
Medicaid.
She smokes more than one costly pack of cigarettes every day and, somehow, still has money to buy beer.
And our president expects me to pay for this woman’s health care?
Our nation’s health care crisis is not a shortage of quality hospitals, doctors or nurses. It is a crisis of culture – a culture in which it is perfectly acceptable to spend money on vices while refusing to take care of one’s self or, heaven forbid, purchase health insurance. A culture that thinks “I can do whatever I want to because someone else will always take care of me.”
Life is really not that hard. Most of us reap what we sow.

How’s that ticker (heart) doing tubby?

I’m waiting for the video to come out on home video, watch all the teachers start grabbing it up to show to their students. I had my high school senior english teacher play Bowling for Columbine and tell me that it was not anti-gun and anti 2nd ammendment but supported the 2nd ammendment. Of course what made it worse was we then had to “discuss” the video in class. It was like reading off the favorite moonbat phrase and argument list listening to my idioc classmates state how evil guns were, how no should own guns, and the 2nd ammendment doesn’t allow for people to own guns as that was the army’s job. It was like talking to a screaming moonbat brick wall trying to reason with these people and actually talk about the constitution and when laws were passed which would evicerate the idiots’ arguments but all that was just ignored. All they seemed to be interested in was proclaiming “guns are evil” “bush is evil/liar/devil” “ban all guns”, not listening to facts and making rational arguments. Thankfully at least one person I was friends with went from moderately liberal/slightly moonbat to a real conservative. He disliked guns and such in high school but now is a cop and owns a small arsenal. I also found it funny that a number of the people who wanted to ban guns had parents that made their living working for Smith and Wesson.

Here is some reporting I had done last year after attending a “film credit workshop” where Teamster Boss Bill Black, along with a cast of commies, and Mr “I don’t have an eating problem, the FOOD has an EATEN problem” hisself… Michael Moore…

He’s like all of the liberals.

Liberalism is a business for them. A very lucrative business.

They’re like shoe salemen selling small shoes to fat women.

The so-called voice of the common people and gadfly to corporate America lives in a million dollar apartment in Manhattan and sends his daughter to a private school.

On top of that he owns mutual funds that owns stock in Halliburton.

The controllers do not wish to be controlled themselves. Why limit your lifestyle when you can charge others to do so?

Union teaches Michael Moore a lesson

Michael Moore, champion of the working class, used non-union stagehands to film “Capitalism: A Love Story.” The porcine provocateur is promoting his anti-Wall Street jeremiad by giving free tickets to unions, but the American Federation of Teachers has turned them down because Moore didn’t hire any members of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees. “Michael Moore and one of our sister unions, IATSE, are in discussions about concerns the union has,” the AFT told ABC News. “The AFT has decided against accepting tickets until those issues are resolved.” …
