Mo Dowd Hates Republican White Men

d We seldom post mindless editorials, especial from the perpetually petulant pea-brained plagiarist Maureen Dowd.

But we thought the red hot hatred for white Republican males expressed in this rant was exceptional, even for the New York Times:

White Man’s Last Stand

By MAUREEN DOWD

July 15, 2009

Washington

You can’t judge a judge by her cover.

Despite the best efforts of Republicans to root out any sign that Sonia Sotomayor has emotions that color her views on the law, the Bronx Bomber kept a robotic mask in place.

A wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not know that a gaggle of white Republican men afraid of extinction are out to trip her up.

After all, these guys have never needed to speak inspirational words to others like them, as Sotomayor has done. They’ve had codes, handshakes and clubs to do that

And it goes on from there. You get the drift.

After all, these guys have never needed to speak inspirational words to others like them, as Sotomayor has done. They’ve had codes, handshakes and clubs to do that.

Never mind that Ms. Sotomayor delivered one of her wise Latina speeches at the Princeton Club.

Of course, given her romantic experiences with “white men,” perhaps Ms. Dowd’s vehemence against them and desire for their extinction is understandable.

Still, when was the last time we have seen such a vicious hatred for a group of law-abiding people ever expressed as commonly as it is today? And in such allegedly respectable media outlets such as the New York Times?

As a thought experiment, let’s replace “white men” and “Republican” with “dirty Jews.” And let’s replace “Latina” and “Democrat” with “Aryan. ” (Adding in a few that are strongly implied.)

Then let’s see a little more of Ms. Dowd’s spittle-flecked screed:

DIRTY JEWS Last Stand

By MAUREEN DOWD

July 15, 2009

Washington

You can’t judge a judge by her cover.

Despite the best efforts of DIRTY JEWS to root out any sign that [ARYAN] Sonia Sotomayor has emotions that color her views on the law, the Bronx Bomber kept a robotic mask in place.

A wise ARYAN woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not know that a gaggle of DIRTY JEWS afraid of extinction are out to trip her up.

After all, these DIRTY JEWS have never needed to speak inspirational words to others like them, as Sotomayor has done. They’ve had codes, handshakes and clubs to do that.

So when DIRTY JEW Senator Jon Kyl, without so much as a howdy-do, went at Sotomayor, and soon was asking her if she agreed with Barack Obama’s contention, when he voted against John Roberts, that a judge’s heart is important, the would-be justice was as adroit as her idol Nancy Drew.

[ARYAN] President Obama wants Sotomayor, naturally, to bring a fresh perspective to the court. It was a disgrace that W. appointed two DIRTY JEWS to a court stocked with DIRTY JEWS. And Sotomayor made it clear that she provides some spicy seasoning to a bench when she said in a speech: “I simply do not know exactly what the difference will be in my judging, but I accept there will be some based on gender and my ARYAN heritage.” …

ARYAN Senator Chuck Schumer gamely tried to make the judge seem even more coldhearted. Recalling the sad plight of poor families from the Bronx who sued T.W.A. after a jet crashed off Long Island in 1996, he quoted the Bronx jurist’s dispassionate dissent: “The appropriate remedial scheme for deaths occurring off the United States coast is clearly a legislative policy choice, which should not be made by the courts.”

Schumer also cited the case of an ARYAN woman who filed suit after being denied a home-equity loan, even after the loan application was conditionally approved based on her credit report…

DIRTY JEW Lindsey Graham read Sotomayor some anonymous comments made by lawyers about her, complaining that she was “temperamental,” “nasty,” “a bit of a bully.” Then he patronizingly lectured her about how this was the moment for “self-reflection.” Maybe Graham thinks Nino Scalia has those traits covered.

But the barbed adjectives didn’t match the muted performance on display before the Judiciary Committee. Like the [ARYAN] president who picked her, Sotomayor has been a model of professorial rationality. Besides, it’s delicious watching DIRTY JEWS go after ARYANS for being too emotional and irrational given the [ARYAN] G.O.P. shame spiral.

[DIRTY JEWS] W. and Dick Cheney made all their bad decisions about Iraq, W.M.D.’s, domestic surveillance, torture, rendition and secret hit squads from the gut, based on false intuitions, fear, paranoia and revenge.

[DIRTY JEW] Sarah Palin is the definition of irrational, a volatile and scattered country-music queen without the music. Her DIRTY JEW fans defend her lack of application and intellect, happy to settle for her emotional electricity.

Senator Graham said Sotomayor would be confirmed unless she had “a meltdown” — a word applied mostly to women and toddlers until Mark Sanford proudly took ownership of it when he was judged about the wisdom of his ARYAN woman.

And then there’s the Supreme Court, of course, which gave up its claim to rational neutrality when the justices appointed by DIRTY JEW presidents — including Bush Sr. — ignored what was fair to make a sentimental choice and throw the 2000 election to W…

Sounds kind of familiar, doesn’t it?

Poster that reads, "The Jew: The inciter of war, the prolonger of war." It is from 1943 or 1944, during the height of the Holocaust.

And just like in the works of Messrs Julius Streicher and Joseph Goebbels, an endless litany of lies is employed to falsely vilify a group of people. In this case, people who were actually elected by American citizens to represent them.

But we can’t have that.

The nation must be ruled by our natural superiors, our new master race.

Such as Ms. Dowd and her colleagues at the New York Times.

SG – Intimidation works. A liberal Jew’s vote is the direct result of trying to prove they are not to blame for all the world’s problems that their elected leaders claim are the Jews’ fault.

It worked in Germany & it’s working here.

It’s a pathetic existence really. Thank God for the few like Mark Levin who understand liberty & aren’t willing to compromise on the facts.

    • BatK

Pretty sad when you wind up supporting the very people whose goal is to destroy/replace you… but we can also talk about liberal “Christians” who support Obama/Democrats and have no idea just how much they oppose Biblical values (which incidentally would be Jewish values as well since the entire book from Genesis to Revelation was written by Jews)

    • Reality Bytes

Guilt is a powerful emotion BatK. Catholic priests & Jewish mothers everywhere have used it quite effectively. Fortunately, this Lutheran, Asst Chief of Sinners (second to St. Paul’s self appointment), knows Grace, which also exists in every one of those books from Genesis to Revelation, which as you say were written by our Hebrew brothers.

PS: Well, actually, they didn’t write it so much as merely took dictation, right?

    • BatK

I don’t even think it’s about “guilt” per se, as much as the misguided idea that liberals are actually what they profess to be: “open minded, tolerant,” etc… given that persecution of Jews has gone on since there was such a thing AS a Jew (and the Bible records quite a few of those instances), in most cases, the thinking is that “if we vote for whoever will leave us alone, we’ll be doing ok”

    • Reality Bytes

If not guilt, which I believe is paramount to any self loathing Jew and/or American, then cowardessness.

Liberalism is steeped in it, but not as much as moderatism; not by a mile.

    • BatK

I would agree with you on that bit about moderatism… which is probably a result of the liberal PC movement as a whole, where people walk around in fear of insulting or “offending” someone.

And frankly, can we call Maureen Doud racist for assuming the beliefs of a bunch of “white Republicans,” setting up a strawman version of what they believe and then showing how intellectual superior she and her ilk are by being so “above” that… while of course, systematically defaming anyone else who dares disagree with her.

As I’ve seen many wise people post on this site, when Liberals can’t use their talking points, they just go for personal attacks… which is usually a good indication that you need to keep moving forward because they view you as a serious threat.

    What a bitter self-loathing woman.

Funny she never issued a editorial in defense of the Latino that was selected by Bush, who didn’t even make it out of committee but was excoriated and denigrated by the Democrats.

    • proreason

      “What a bitter self-loathing woman.”

      You nailed it curvy.

Whenever you see hatred like this, it’s self-hatred redirected. Much like the activist queers.

Although I do think, in the case of Ms. Dowd and many others, that she also gets swept up in her own rhetoric. It’s a characteristic of a perpetual adolescent.

So it seems to me that her psychology is that she can’t shake the desire to remain 17 years old and just can’t accept the fact that she is no longer lusted after by random males.

    • Petronius

“it’s self-hatred redirected.” Good one, Pro. And you too, curvy.

This kind of Liberal invective is old hat. Liberalism long ago became the anti-white male ideology par excellence. Although statements like Dowd’s are useful from time to time, to serve as a wake-up call for those thick-skulled white men who still haven’t gotten the message.

What is, I think, remarkable about Dowd’s article is her slap at Sarah Palin––a gratuitous bit of viciousness that seems to be oddly out of place in a diatribe directed against white men:

“Sarah Palin is the definition of irrational, a volatile and scattered country-music queen without the music. Her Republican fans defend her lack of application and intellect, happy to settle for her emotional electricity.”

Dowd’s anger about Palin’s “emotional electricity” is revealing. This reminded me of something Nietzsche said about the resentment held by the ill-constituted, degenerate, twisted woman against the woman who is sound in body and spirit, the woman who has turned out well:

“‘Emancipation of women’ –– That is the instinctive hatred of the abortive woman, who is incapable of giving birth, against the woman who is turned out well –– The fight against the ‘man’ is always a mere means, pretext, tactic. By raising themselves higher … they want to lower the level of the general rank of woman…. At bottom, the emancipated are anarchists in the world of the ‘eternally feminine,’ the underprivileged whose most fundamental instinct is revenge.”

I believe Maureen Dowd has found a soul-mate in Red Sonia.

    “What a bitter self-loathing woman.”
What a waste of words; we all have to cut back nowadays so let’s just say “What a Democrat.”

  4. artboyusa

Excellent item, Steve! This DIRTY JEW gives it two money changing thumbs up!

  5. wardmama4

But, but wait didn’t evil Boooooooooooooosh nominate a wise Latin? But, but wait – didn’t evil Booooooooosh nominate a wise woman? But, but wait didn’t evil Booooooooosh nominate a wise black woman to a lesser Court (as a stepping stone perhaps to the Supreme Court)?

And wasn’t it the evil Republicans who nominated and confirmed the First wise Latin?

As Rush said – Ignorance is the most expensive commodity in America today and people like this drivel spewer in drag are the prime hawkers of it.

This should be sedition in its most indictable form.

  6. 12 Gauge Rage

This is a perfect example of the First Amendment giving someone the right to make a complete ass of themselves. Mizz Dowd uses the media to further paint herself as a hateful, spiteful, venomous subhuman.

  7. Media_man

I never read MoDo, ever. She’s simply not worth the time or trouble. The NYT op-ed page is a bad joke, with even the single “conservative” being a squishy country club liberal who voted for Obama. I don’t think it helps that O’Reilly had a segment on this article last night, with Monica Crowley & Allan Combs. It just plays into MoDo’s hands, with free publicity, etc.

The sooner the NYT goes belly up, the better. As Bernie Goldberg would say, it’s not a newspaper but simply a liberal opinion journal pretending to be a news outlet.

  8. texaspsue

I have come to the conclusion that the Liberals who scream “racist” all of the time, are actually the real racists. It’s like when we kids someone would ask “who farted” and the general repsonse was “he who smelt it, dealt it”, Yeah, I’m in a weird mood today, I really did just connect a fart analogy to the Liberals. lol

Why do the Liberal Democrats see everyone by the color of their skin? Maybe it is to cause discord and keep America divided. Also, have you ever noticed that when they scream “racist” it shuts down any viable debate or solution. It’s about time that Conservatives stand up to their hypocrisy.

  9. proreason

“I’m in a weird mood today, I really did just connect a fart analogy to the Liberals”

    What’s the wierd part?

  10. Chuckk

I can name 1000 things that Republican white men have done for the country, and the world. I can not think of a single achievement by dour, humorless, mean-spirited, white liberal women.

  11. Botfly

She is a bitter hag. Her elitist ramblings are nonsensical and insulting yet she is a darling of the lib mainstream. In some ways she tries to be an Ann Coulter of the left except Coulter has a better developed sense of wit and can back up her statements with a well reasoned response. Dowd needs to get in there and IRON MY SHIRT!

  12. catie

How sad that she’s so unhappy. Old Mo used to be somewhat tolerable but within the last 10 or so years, she’s really turned bitter. I think what’s really bothering her is she was probably dumped by a white Republican male.

  13. neocon mom

I can’t login to facebook anymore without my blood pressure rising. I guess I thought it would be a good way to stay in touch with my high school/ college friends. It is impossible to argue with people who hold these views.

A former college roommate wrote this yesterday on Sotomayor:
“Well I’m sure a woman from Lesbos would be influenced by her experiences as well. I hear the underlying message loud and clear: Personal experience as an aspect of decision making is unacceptable in a judge- unless you are a white male.”

You can’t argue with beliefs like this, but really it pales in comparison to the other daily post praising Jimmy Carter as so wise.

I used to argue just to provide a counterpoint to the laughably simplistic and misguided assertions but I can’t sacrifice the time anymore.

    • catie

Neocon Mom, I have the same problem. I started blocking some of my so called friends from high school, college and sorority. Maybe I should have just left those friendships in the past.

    • take_no_prisoners

I like facebook, so I purposely avoid politics and religion on facebook. I like to see what my friends from earlier years are up to so I simply behave the way I would at a reunion or a wedding reception. I avoid all the quizzes and don’t respond to the invitations to join groups, etc., those things are just used as an excuse to get you to give permission to release your information. If one really wants to be a fly on the wall, facebook gives you the opportunity. If you want to mix it up with politics or other provocative stuff you can use private messaging to avoid airing your differences in public.

  14. TwilightZoned

One word for this type of drivel…ludicrous!

  15. U NO HOO

Off topic, perhaps, but let us honor the Jews, and others, who died in the Holocaust, if Hitler didn’t put resources into that campaign he may have won the war. (I’m not a WWII expert analyst)

Maybe the most heroic soldiers were the innocent victims in the concentration camps.

    Never forget.

The analogy is so right on target.

    Thanx SG.

    • Steve

That is a stunningly brilliant point, UNH.

I consider myself sort of a student of the period, and I have never heard anyone ever put it that way.

But there is certainly a lot of truth to it.

  16. canary

Maureen Dowd is butch, so don’t judge her by appearance. Since Sotomayor was raised in America, why does she think seasoning from another country is needed, like we don’t have enough. People that wanted to come to America because they loved America.

Sotomayor and Obama speak as though they are being held prisoner in America. As if they truly belong to their roots, and their roots are better than America.

Obama’s father consistantly, wrote self-loathing, America-hating Obama to come live in Kenya. Obama was so miserable, had to escape with drugs to ease the pain.

So, why does Obama and Sotomayor put themselves through such torture. They need to pioneer their way back to their homes they cherish in their hearts. It’s sooo easy today. No covered wagons, long sea trips to starve and die on, no deserted island survival. They can go sitting first-class in a big airplane and get there in a day. Finally, have a place they can call home-sweet-home.

    • take_no_prisoners

And they both have the money to live quite well in their ancestral land. They could use their money to better all the lives of the poor folks whose ancestors were too timid or frail or whatever to pick up and move to the United States.

  17. bronzeprofessor

Maureen can’t get a man. Sonia had a man and lost him.

That explains it, pure and simple. The Sisterhood of the Traveling (and actionless) Pants.

  18. wirenut

Canary, great insight! This Country is not what needs to be fixed, but some of the people in it need to be neutered.
