Property Records Of Henrietta Hughes

Our previous post about Henrietta Hughes triggered some investigative journalism and speculation from our longtime member, Retire05:

The Property Records Of Henrietta Hughes

According to Lee County, Florida property records:

6/18/01 Property (Lot 19, Block 35, Unit 9, Sec. 20, Twnshp 44S, Range 27, Lehigh Acres Subdivision) purchased by Henrietta and Corey Hughes

10/10/03 – $124,400.00 lien release due to payment in full to Henrietta and Corey Hughes.

8/9/06 – Quit claim deed signed by Henrietta Hughes granting full ownership to Corey Hughes.

No transactions since for either Henrietta Hughes or Corey Hughes which means that Corey Hughes still owns the property. Taxes current (paid) on 1/1/09.

There are a number of mortgage lien holder transfers between 2001 and when it was paid off in 2003. This is normal as liens are often sold (think one mortgage holder buying out another). What is interesting is how this lien for $124,400.00 was paid off in less than 28 months.

Has this property been sold in 2005, a transfer would have been recorded since the county records not only purchases but sales as well. Also, why would someone sell a property they paid at least $124,000.00 for in June, 2001 for $47,000.00 in 2005 when market prices were still high?

The fact is this scam artist did not sell her property that was jointly owned with her son, Corey Lamont, from day one. What she did do was sign a quit claim deed in 2006, giving TOTAL ownership to her son Corey Lamont. I would guess this is because the value of the property would affect SSDI benefits along with Medicare/Medicaid. It would also affect any welfare she might be eligible for under SSDI. My guess is she applied for SSDI and was told that she could only have so much worth. Yet, the 2004 Rochester, NY article states she is already receiving Medicare/Medicaid.

It is also interesting that in 2004, Corey Lamont Hughes sought, and received, free medical treatment in Rochester, NY while he and his mother were still owners of property in Florida…

8/17/01 – Henrietta and Corey Hughes purchases Lot 22, Block 35 of Lehigh Acres

10/29/01 – Henrietta and Corey Hughes receives building permit for Lot 19, Block 35 of Lehigh Acres. The builder is Holiday Builders of Cape Coral, Florida

10/29/01 – (same day) Henrietta and Corey Hughes secures mortgage financing from Riverside Bank of The Gulf Coast, Cape Coral, Florida (this would be for the building of the structure constructed by Holiday Builders) in the amount of $124,400.00

7/15/03 – Forclosure filed by Riverside Bank of the Gulf Coast on Lot 19, Block 35 Lehigh Acres in an amount of slightly over $123,600.00 (meaning she paid about $800 of the mortgage in 21 months)

10/16/2003 – Mortgage satisfaction filed by Riverside Bank granting ownership to Henrietta and Corey Hughes for Lot 19, Block 35 of Lehigh Acres for $124,400.00

6/30/05 – Lot 22, Block 35 of Lehigh Acres sold to Homeland, LLC.

8/9/06 – Quit claim deed signed by Henrietta Hughes to Corey Hughes for Lot 18, Block 35 of Lehigh Acres.

She originally owned 3 lots, #18, #19 and #22. Number #22 was sold in 2005 (when she claims she lost her home) to Homeland, LLC in June, 2005 and #18 was transferred to her son, Corey Lamont, on 8/9/06 (signing a quit claim deed gave him total ownership of #18 which they had bought jointly).

I can find no record of any subsequent sales of the home build on Lot 19.

At the very least it would seem that Mrs. Hughes circumstances are not quite the way they have been represented in the media.

    This article presented here is a case of lazy journalism at its worst. If the reporter had done his job, he would have researched Miss Henrietta and her dead beat son. But he didn’t.

    • Damn good work, Retire05! This is particularly upsetting to me because:
      1) I didn’t even own a house in Lehigh Acres–I rented a duplex. And this much attention and resources are falling her way for having once OWNED (financed) a house in Lehigh!
      2) I had to move when I was layed off along with the rest of my entire IT department last Oct. I’m currently living in a 12 x 12 hurricane room with my Golden Retriever Phoebe on the other side of Lee County because it’s all I can afford right now, and yet I consider myself lucky.
      3) Where I’ve always lived a life of playing by the rules, it looks increasingly clear that this wench played the welfare/SSID/Medicare system to her favor and then cries to Obama to give her “her own kitchen”.

      I need one of those drinks. Or a morphine drip until this is all over.

    After digging through the deed book a little, it appears that she/they owned (now, or at one time) three lots in the subdivision – 18, 19, and 22. They could have sold on of the lots for the aforementioned $47,000.00 and still own another lot and the house/lot that she transferred to her son…

      OK, LISTEN UP Folks, I’m going to tell you exactly HOW Henrietta Hughes did this.
      I know, because of a tiny mountain community in very far-Northern California, where I live, and did the US Census 2000, as well as I know the people around here and “How” they do exactly what Henrietta Hughes. So here goes and it will be a REAL EYE OPENER!

      Henrietta Hughes, never worked enough “Credits” in her lifetime to qualify for SSDI-Social Security Disability Income.

      No! Henrietta Hughes is on SSI-Supplemental Security Income.

      When Henrietta Hughes finally qualified for ‘not enough Credits for SSDI’ SSI-Supplemental Security Income, because she went to Legal Aid or PRO-BONO Attorney’s Specializing in going to Court to file “Appeals” on behalf of the Wanting to be SSI Recipient, the PRO-BONO get’s a nice big chunk cut, and the Newly Qualified SSI Recipient gets what’s called:
      SSI-Supplemental Security Income- Windfall-Lump-Sum Check
      So, she MUST immediately do what’s called: “Spend Down”
      That means she MUST get All her Income that CAN be used for Shelter, Food, Clothing or anything that CAN BE TURNED INTO ‘Liquid Assets’ to pay for herself for her “Needs” based upon the Social Security Administration’s “Means Test”.

      So, what did she do with her Big-Fat Windfall-Lump Sum check?
      She paid her Mortgage off!

      This way, she was within her $2,000 Individual ‘Liquid Asset’ that could be used for her own Shelter or Care Limits.
      The SSA looks at: Your Bank Account Balance, Your Savings Account Balance, What you have that could be “sold” to pay for yourself, for your shelter, food, clothing, transportation.

      This is also known as “Deeming”.

      SSI-Supplemental Security Income is NOT Social Security at all.

      SSI is for those that never worked enough during their lifetime to get the SSDI checks.

      This is what 80% of African Americans live hand to mouth off of, SSI.

      This is also WHY Obama has favored SSI within his ‘Stimulus’ bill.
      He’s given ONLY SSI’s an extra SSI check that will come on April 1st, 2009.

      But, no other entities or ‘Entitlement’s at all will get this EXTRA check.

      No, not Social Security Retirees, not Unemployed, not Welfare Mommie/Baby recieients, None BUT SSI will get this EXTRA check.
      Simply because 80% of Obama’s “people” live off this check—-> SSI.

      Henreitta Hughes Quit Claimed to her son because she wanted a clean slate to appear on her “Means Test”.
      SSI-however, is allowed to “Own 1-One Real Estate Per Individual’ or 1-One Real Estate Per ‘Head of Household’ that’s ON SSI benefits.

      Many SSI’s use their Windfall check to buy a house, an expensive car, that’s why they drive Cadallic Escalades, and there’s an old saying, “Welfare Cadallic” because it’s the car of choice for people like, Henreitta.

      But, Henrietta wanted to “pay off” the Mortgage balance with her proceeds.

      The property is probably “rented out” and she would be “disqualified” as NO SSI recipient is allowed to have a “Rental extra house, bringing in Rental Income”. They would be “Cut”.
      Ending up only recieving around $20 a month.

      In California an Individual get’s another check along with the SSI, it’s called, SSP-State Supplemental Payments.
      This gives an Individual- $907 per month.
      And a Couple, $1,569.
      COMPLETELY TAX FREE. SSI NEVER pays a penny ot tax!
      However, they DO qualify for ‘Earned Income Tax Credit’ and get money back in tax returns each year if they “work” the minimum amount within that year to qualify. That’s like $3,000 per year.

      SSI-that means you are So Disabled you can NEVER work ANY KIND of work ever again as long as you live your So Disabled, Will Allow A Recipient to WORK and Still NOT get their ‘Checks Cut’.
      It’s called, ‘Ticket To Work’. It’s an Incentive that tries to encourage SSI’s to “wean” off SSI. But, that NEVER EVER happens when SSI recieves a C.O.L.A., each year from Congress.
      SSI comes out of the Federal ‘General Fund’.
      SSP in California, comes out of the State ‘General Fund’.
      Illegals can collect SSI & SSP, via PRUCOL & CAPI, just to name two Programs as there are around 6 other Programs that allows Illegals, especially those ‘Over Age 65′ that collect Immediate SSI & SSP checks as soon as they get here from another Foreign Country and walk into any SSA Office, pull a tab, sit there, wait to be called to an ‘Intake Worker for SSA’ start filling out the forms, show “documents” of their Age and/or Disability, and they will “cut them a check” that day!

      SSI’s also get HUD-Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers. That’s what Henreitta was squacking about to Obingo.
      She is on a “waiting list” for HUD-Section 8 Housing, and the waiting list for people without any children under age 18 is a long wait, because HUD-Section 8 Housing, as well as County & City Housing Authorities, always house the oldest, most disabled and the one’s with minor children FIRST.
      Obviously, the HUD, County & City Housing Authorities felt that Henreitta’s “NEED” was not big enough to constitute putting her at the front of the waiting list!

      Henrietta, gets the MAXIMUM Plethora of Benefits if she say’s she has NO HOUSING at all. So, she get’s the MAX check each and every 1st of Duh Munt.

      SSI’s also get homeownership Grants & Loans, that a Middle-Class worker over the “Low Income” Guideline Limits Can NEVER recieve.
      USDA Rural Direct, USDA Rural Guarenteed in the New ‘Stimulus’ are Perfect examples of this RULE. Low-Incomes ONLY!

      It also means, she get’s a Dignity Food Stamp Card, Low-Income Heating & Air Conditioning Assistance, Lifeline Phone Services, Reimbursment for her Property Tax bill and/or Trailer space Rental and/or RENTAL monies paid all year given back to her at 95% in October which is the end of the fiscal year for this reimbursment ‘Entitlement’ Program.
      Henrietta is on MediCAID & MediCARE because she’s classified as Disabled, EXTREMELY Disabled OR over age 65, and EXTREMELY Low-Income.
      This means she has “next to nothing”.
      She has done what millions do.

      The Majority of SSI’s Own their Home, Free & Clear, Paid For.
      An SSI may own a Home, one per ‘Household’ of Any Value and Size Whatsoever.
      This means, someone in a swanky California neighborhood in a $750,000 house, can collect the Maximum SSI & SSP checks each 1st of Duh Munt.

      That’s right~it’s legal, one house of any size or value whatsoever per SSI beneficiary.

      It’s what’s INSIDE that quarter million dollar home that “counts”. So, since there’s NEVER any checking Up on these SSI’s to SEE what they REALLY have, they get away with it for Decades Upon Decades of Tax Free checks.
      Many have big Pontoon Boats in their Driveways up here, with an big X-Cab pick-up ready to haul it to the lake launch marina.
      They CAN own 1-Car per ‘household’ of ANY value whatsoever!

      If they have a $5,000 dollar Gun Collection in that quarter million dollar home, they need to “spend down” all but $2,000 of the collection, or they are in Violation of the Rules.

      SSI is NOT Social Security, and is Confused with SSDI and SS all the time.

      No these are the people you see flooding into the stores on the 1st of each month, that are Morbidly Obese, and they ALL have those handicapped placards on their rear view mirror, or on their plates.

      SSDI has ZERO Income Limits. You can own as much as you wish and have a HUGE fortune in the Bank with SSDI. Because YOU WORKED and paid into the SYSTEM for years in the form of INSURANCE!
      Therefore, since you paid that Insurance in case you have a heart attack at work or while gainfully employed, and you have paid into the SS tax system for the proper required amount of time, then you will get a check for the Rest of Your Life if you become Disabled while employed!

      So, SSI can get a check at ANY AGE.
      That’s why so many teenagers are on SSI. They can say they are “Depressed” or have “Anxiety”. And, they will get a check in California, for $907 per month.
      On their 18th Birthday, they have a “review” that’s usually only re-giving the SSA office somemore “documents” saying you went faithfully to your “MediCAID or MediCAL” Physician and here’s the documents, along with a 15 minute phone chat with someone that can hardly speak English and is working FOR MediCAID/MediCAL, to get you re-qualified or say on the Checks.
      They get paid because YOU get paid from SSI. Sweet and Neat.

      Case in Point: Mommie has out-of-Wedlock baby. Mommie stays on CalWORKS which is AFDC but with it’s new name, for her 5-Year Lifetime Limit.
      During that 5 Year’s Mommie becomes a full-blown, “Tweeker” or “Tweaker” if you wish.
      Her Teeth have fallen out, she weighs about 85 lbs,, and looks like a “Tweeker”.
      She waltz’s into any Social Security Office and Applies & Qualifies for SSI.
      SSI WILL Qualify her because she has “Depression” and “Anxiety” because she’s a hopless addict. Mommie, gets another check for her child up till’ age 18, and Mommie get’s an extra $300 from IHSS-In Home Supportive Services for cooking and taking care of her child under age 18. She also get’s another check from SSI until her Child reaches age 16.

      So, Mommie is getting 2 checks from SSI because child is under age 16, and an extra check from IHSS for taking care of her child.
      Her child get’s an SSI check too, although her child is NOT Disabled, she get’s an SSI check because Mommie is ‘Head of Household’.

      There’s a Plethora of ‘other’ ‘Entitlements’ they both get as well, and they basically live completely FREE, and recieve a ‘Child Tax Credit’ check for $1,000 during tax return time.
      As well, Mommie will get a $300 check from ‘Earned Income Tax Credit’ for working in her own home for IHSS, and making at least $3,000 per year.

      Only 1-One time will Mommie have to take “classes” for her Meth problem.
      It does not last very long, and once she’s done with her “classes” she’s good to go for at least 10 years on SSI checks.

      The ONLY WAY there’s ever any “Glich” in the SSI Recipients checks is “IF” someone goes onto the SSI Governmental Website fills out the Form to complain about the SSI Recipient breaking their “Rules” of either: Fraud, Waste, or Misuse of their SSI checks.

      I have only seen 1 person get “kicked-off” the SSI checks before. But, someone took the time to fill out the form and it worked and they were kicked off for fraud against SSI.

      The same Welfare Mommie Baby sceneario works the same way if the Mommie becomes ‘Morbidly Obese’ during her 5-year lifetime limit years. This happens ALOT.
      I see many, many Mommies become pathetically Obese from getting “paid to sit” by the Gubment, State and County.

      The EBT-Dignity-Food Stamp Debit Cash Card in California, and all other states just got yet another raise from the ‘Stimulus’.

      Watch and see what happens will ALL the Vacant and Foreclosed homes around YOUR area. They will ALL be bought by ‘Low-Incomes’ because of all the plethora of Grants n’ Loans in the ‘Stimulus’. The ‘Entitlement’ Grants n’ Loans that were already in place, ALL recieved an increase.

      You will have very different looking Communities in about 1-Year from now, very, very different indeed!

      Already happened to very-far-Northern California in July 2007 with HR-1851 and then again with more massive funding from HR-3221.

      This Region looks completely different now, and I cannot wait to move North to my property way out in the forest in Oregon soon!

      Henrietta is a Classic SSI “Milker”. They “Milk” the Government, State, County & City Grant Subsidies for ALL they CAN GET!

      So, there’s no more mystery how she accomplished it. Oh, and IF she has that home in HER NAME that was given to her, and her SON is Living With her, and HE TOO collects SSI, TURN HIM INTO SSI!!!!!! If His Name is ON that ‘DEED’ in Florida, and he’s on SSI, and recieving any extra benefits like HUD-Section 8 or ANY added benefit like “Rental Income” from the Florida house, or his Mommie recieves IHSS for his care, in her NEW home given her, they are committing valid ‘Fraud’ and can be turned in, via the Social Security Administration Website.

      Type this into any Search Engine: SSI-Supplemental Security Income Fraud Misuse Waste Report Form

      The Form will come up, You can remain annon.
      I suggest that many, many people use this form and turn in your neighbors!
      They are getting ALL that money and the Added benefits totally tax free, and Never Had to Work a Single Day in their Lives for it.

      Makes me sick to watch Obama get away with saying he’s “cutting” Social Security & MediCARE, when the REAL Problem is Tax Free—–>> SSI, and in Cali, SSP too!

      I think the satisfaction on 10/16/2003 is in lieu of foreclosure, i.e., they are giving the property back to the bank. Like I said, I think…

    On June 20th 2005 they sold Lot 22 to Homeland LLC – probably for $47,000.

    At the time, the Hughes’ address was listed as Rochester, NY.

    Recording fee was $329.00 – often ten mills (translating to a sale price of $32,900.00) but I’m going on deed recording fees in another county, in another state.

    Here is what it looks like to me:

    In October, 2001, permission was granted to build on Lot 19. It was financed the same day by Riverside Bank.

    Now, let’s assume that it took about two months to complete the home. That means Henrietta and Corey would have moved in around January, 2002.

    Henrietta and her deadbeat son signed the forclosure documents in June, 2003 and it was notorized in Monroe County (Rochester) New York on 6/13/03. But forclosure doesn’t start until someone is at least three months behind on their mortgage payments and sometimes it is longer than that (my daughter wasn’t forclosed on for 8 months and it took another 90 days to make her move out). But we will take the shorter time of 3 month when forclosure was started. The original amount of the loan was $124,400.00 and she and Corey owed at the time of forclosure $123,416.85.

    These documents, signed by Corey and Harietta in New York, shows they lived in the home less than 1 1/2 years and knowing the procedures, I would say they just walked on the mortgage and went back to Rochester, N.Y. In Texas it is called “abandonment of property”.

    This is an example of the results of the Community Reinvestment Act that forced banks like Riverside to grant loans to people who had no income to repay the loan. Probably a NINJA loan or a loan with no money down, an introductory interest rate for 12-18 months and so when the payment on the interest and principal went up, and the monthy escrow account amount went up due to a rise taxes and insurance (from increased value at the appraisal district) over a year, they couldn’t afford it and walked on it.

    Bottom line? Corey still owns Lot 18 and the taxes are current. But if Henrietta still owned part of that property, she would have to claim it as an asset for SSDI. Can’t have that, now can we so she signed a quit claim deed over to her son in 2006.

    This lady, and her son, know the system. Very, very well.

      From our end of it here in Lee County, we heard he was to do a tour of Lehigh Acres before the town hall meeting was to begin. There was a lot of buzz about Obama focusing a lot on that end of the county due to a higher concentration of foreclosures.

      Henrietta The Homeless was from Lehigh (and NY, apparently), so O’s picking her played right into O’s plan to highlight the “despair” down here.

      Another thing: We were told that the first 2,000 seats were going to people who owned a business in Lee County–regular folks would have to get behind them. Funny that Henrietta got a ticket that placed her on the front lines of the rest of the business crowd.

      This is smelling worse and worse by the minute…

      Howard! I live south of you in Collier County…you know, the one that is supposed to have all that big money? Funny how I couldnt get a front row seat to beg Obama for a bailout….I will lose my house by June because of this democrat created economic disaster….and there is NO provision for people like me who didnt have the foresight to put “democrat” on their voter registration card. I am screwed either way…because the stimulus bill has no provision for hard working middle class people who played by the rules….and it cost them their livelihoods and their homes.       I’m sorry to hear of your circumstances. I don’t have some funny or smartass thing to say back to you, like, “Go get Obama to give you a new kitchen”, or some other type of tripe. I’m quietly dealing with my situation, just like you are, and despite the normal feelings of failure, self-loathing, and despair when you lose your job and have to evacuate your home before you’re foreclosed on or evicted, I still prefer to keep positive as much as possible.

      This nation is great DESPITE the communist scum that now leads us. I’ve been down before, and I’m sure I’ll be down again before my life’s through, but I never lose sight of just how lucky I am to have been born an American. The country and its principles are much bigger than the man-boy who leads it. He doesn’t deserve to be lionized among real men like Reagan, Jefferson, and Madison, and I’ll make it a lifelong aim to always say these things.

      I just wish I could fast-forward to when he’s gone, so we could begin to set this ship right again.

    Here’s what it looks like happened.

    House was build and they walked on it. Forclosure was started and finalized on 7/15/03. The house was then sold on 10/10/03 (recorded on 10/16/03) and on the same day, Riverside Bank released a “satisfaction” against Henrietta and Corey Hughes, which absolves Henrietta and Corey Hughes from any further financial liability (this is done to give the lien holder full ownership).

    After they repossed the home, Riverside then sold it for $135,000 on 10/10/03 and that is the reason for the release against Harrietta and Corey. Because Riverside had another buyer and was going to retrieve their investment so Riverside had to get the Hughes’ name off it completely.

    It was resold to the current owners on 6/29/05 for $258,900.00

    For some reason, Henrietta and Corey used the 1011 address as their legal address, not the address of the home at 1013. The 1011 Hibiscus Ave. address (assigned by 911 services) is still owned by Corey Hughes and that is lot #18. Lot #19 is 1013 Hibiscus Ave.

    Oh come on folks, this poor old woman couldn’t have come up with this plan all by herself. Someone helped her. It would have to be someone desperate for some good headlines. Someone that has screwed up royal, maybe someone that has tried to hire lets say 3 or 4 people to fill a position that requires an honest person, just to find out they weren’t all that honest.     You do not need to quit claim deed a house if you are on SSDI. You can actually make a certain amount of money per year. I forget what that figure is though. I receive SSDI and Medicare, I am nearly 50 years old, a disabled veteran with VA compensation and own a house jointly with my husband. I have no idea why she did the quit claim deed but it had nothing to do with SSDI.

    SSDI gets taken away if the doctors decide during an 18 month review that you are no longer disabled. I don’t receive these reviews because the VA has deemed me unemployable and totally and permanently disabled.

    The address thing bothers me because it would be a way to escape SS notification of the 18 month review. Total and Permanent disability are not automatic. I know people who have lost their SSDI because they are caught doing something that they said they couldn’t.

    Another thing of note Hughes has to have a permanent address to receive her SSDI checks or a bank account if they are on direct deposit…either way she needs a permanent address. What address is she using?

    The fact is this scam artist did not sell her property that was jointly owned with her son, Corey Lamont, from day one. What she did do was sign a quit claim deed in 2006, giving TOTAL ownership to her son Corey Lamont. I would guess this is because the value of the property would affect SSDI benefits along with Medicare/Medicaid. It would also affect any welfare she might be eligible for under SSDI.

    One more time: Owning a house while on SSDI and Medicare does not mean you have to sell. I have been on SSDI and Medicare since 2002 backdated to 2000. My husband and I own a home together.

    Owning a house does come into play if you go into a nursing a home because then you receive Medicare and Medicaid…(Medicaid is state run). At that popint you will have to sell your home. Income limits are set then as well. You can only keep up to $2000 in a bank account …the amount you can have in bank may have changed but that is the info from ten years ago…when my mother entered a nursing home!

    Does this help straighten things out? I just wanted to correct some facts about SSDI.

    Here is what we do know; Henrietta would not be eligible for public housing, food stamps or any other social program when she owned a lot, #18, that was valued at almost $50K. So she signed a quit claim deed on that property but did not do it until 2006.
    They walked on the house in 2003 and went to New York. We know that because Corey got free medical care in Rochester, N.Y. in 2004. Where were they living in New York? Dan Riehl says their address there was the address of her parents. So we know they were not homeless while they were in New York. Why did they return to Florida with no place to live? Henrietta claims she borrowed “lots of” money to go to Florida. Why? What was the purpose to leave New York to only have to live in her truck in Florida?

    And where are the bleating heart media photos of poor Henrietta and Corey with pillows in the seats of their pickup? Where do they store their clothes? In the bed of the truck? There is a reason the media is not taking those pictures. I’ll leave it up to you to reason why.

    The bottom line is she is getting $800.00/month is SSDI, and $119 month in food stamps. That is more than most of the seniors in my town get and they manage. Perhaps because they spent their lives paying off houses they now live in.

    This story is a lot more complicated than it looks. And if the media did it’s job we would know why Corey was fired from a civil position. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get fired from a government job? It is almost impossible. But it is much more interesting to send 100 reporters to tiny Wasilla, Alaska to try to dig up dirt on Sarah Palin or have some government hack leak Joe The Plumber’s personal files.

    The media is not going to do its job. So it is up to us.

      You know, there are tons of older motels that have been converted to rooms to rent by the month. I can’t believe they would charge more than $125 a week. ($500-600/mo leaving her with at least $200/mo). With that she would get a hot shower, beds, TV and a table to eat off. NO UTILITIY BILLS or CABLE BILLS and still get use of both.

      Of course she might have to give up her Visa card.

      She gets $119 food stamps. (she can add the over $100 she wouldn’t need to pay for storage if she sold things she can no longer use, and and the Visa payment to her food money) That should be plenty for two people. And sonny boy needs to pitch in as well.

      And while I’m at it, why does she need $150 for gas for the car each month. We have TWO cars and don’t use that much. We are retired..but she doesn’t even work!

      She could get FREE clothes from Churches and/or Salvation Army.
      (at our church we have a “Care and Share” where everything, clothes and other items, is/are free and no one has to “prove’ anything) Microwaves are available at these places.

      And every community has free health clinics for the poor.

      I’m not sure what else she would “need”. Seems a lot better than sleeping in her car. (of course I am thinking with common sense)

      It think her comments of “they couldn’t meet my needs” really means “they can’t meet my desired STANDARDS of my needs”

      As I said in another post, the difference between the house she didn’t pay for and the house the faith based org offered her was great. But it was a roof for pete sake.

      I think seriously she really thought Obama would give her her old house back…for free.

      Henrietta’s new house is on 2 acres. The market value is 170K, so the “free rent” is a substantial gift.

      2 of the 3 lots she and her son owned (apparently he still owns 1) were on 1/2 acre each.

      She has had at least 26 addresses. Can’t tell over what period.

      The job Corey was fired from was programmer analyst. Competent PA’s are still employable in the U.S., despite the erosion from offshore competition.

      Henriett’s parents own a home free and clear in Rochester, NY.

If they spend the spring and summer here they get all the free services offered here , and as a bonus you don t need much in the way of ID to be enrolled. Food stamps Medicaid Medicare Heap etc. and then when the seasons turn cold like a snowbird they fly south there by skirting the state income tax laws. A thing of beauty isn t it. Wonder if Obomber will send her tickets for airfare too. Has anyone looked if they claim homestead exemptions in Fla.? And where are the drivers licence/state id cards from?     The key lot is #19 as Retiree05 stated. The key document is the Warranty Deed dated June 13, 2003 and recorded on July 15, 2003. That deed transferred ownership from HUGHES HENRIETTA C and HUGHES COREY L to RIVERSIDE BANK OF THE GULF COAST.

    This was done in lieu of foreclosure. The bank said something like this: either we foreclose and you will have fees added or we can simply have you give us the house now. They chose to give the house to the bank and be free of the mortgage. THAT is the mortgage that was cleared and posted on October 16, 2003.

    RIVERSIDE BANK OF THE GULF COAST then sold that property to new owners on October 10, 2003. It was then sold again to the present owners at a later date. I have to run an may update later. Most of the links are already posted by others above. I will forward my post to a news agency that has picked up this error.

    The HUGHES DO NOT OWN THAT HOUSE.
