Your point is well taken Trog….with the glaring exception of the teachings of Jesus remind us to turn the other cheek, do unto others, thou shalt not kill, and do generally do good in the world.

Islam on the other hand demands deception is not only acceptable, it is encouraged. Anyone NOT muslim is a target for either convert and remain a sub muslim, or to die because you dont accept Islam as the one true faith.

So while I do agree that Christians who minister to prisoners do indeed reduce recidivism, I flat refuse to believe that muslims would even attempt to change the minds of jihadists. Because by doing jihad, carrying out fatwahs, and by killing infidels wherever they are found by any means at hand, and accepting no other faith without exception, they are doing the will of mohammed and allah.

The crap in Canada is just window dressing designed to placate our lunatic liberals who believe this hooey so as to take the focus off of the intolerance and murderous intent of islam worldwide…..tell me, who teaches true peace and love for all? Jesus and God, or muhammed and allah? The comparison is easy, unless you are muslim. By comparing the two, you are a blasphemer and subject to execution for even questioning Islam.

Christianity went through this convert or die stuff centuries ago…..the main problem is that Islam has never outgrown the seventh century, and cannot practice their faith in today’s world due to modern laws that prevent them from doing the very acts which define Islam. So instead of trying to be what they say they are ” peaceful and tolerant”….they insist that we accept their flawed and virtually intolerant beliefs or die for it. THAT is what I meant…..It’s not even apples and oranges….it’s good vs evil.

I have to disagree with the sheehanjihad and colonel, this is better than nothing, and much better than the mosques that preach the jihad and hatred.

While I know, and it’s been proven via such organizations as Interfaith Ministries, that leading prisoners to Jesus Christ greatly reduces recidivism, I’m not convinced that Islam can do the same thing. After all these criminals already believe in Allah and Mohammad. (And maybe that’s where I do agree with the previous commentators).

Oh yeah, this is for a devout muslim who’s leader requires one to lie and deceive…yeah, lets let him “promise to be good”. The ignorance of people never ceases to amaze me. That’s like letting a serial child molester go as long as he crosses his heart and hopes to die that he will never molest again. Islam in and of itself is one of the most appallingly backward cults this world has ever been plagued with. So Canada will get terrorists who are set free because they “promise” to never kill again. They will get a hard lesson in trusting a Muslim terrorist’s word.
