I thought Afghanistan was the “right war.” If so, shouldn’t it be fought vigorously? Apparently not.

Great day here today in NYC. Lot’s of Vets in from WW2 to Iraqi Freedom & Afghanistan. You couldn’t walk down the street & we got lot’s of em without bumpin’ into a service man or woman. Man, if there’s one thing New Yorkers love is a parade. And I just can’t understand why they’re so happy to say thanks to a vet, shake his hand, buy her a drink, or a steak dinner & be so liberal. There’s some kind of disconnect there. Maybe they’re not so liberal after all. They sure as Hell weren’t on 9/12/01.

God Bless Those Who Serve & May He Have Mercy On The Rest of Us!

With the Moron in the White House, there is no answer.

No matter what he “decides”, that war is lost until we get somebody who wants to win it and rid the world of terrorists.

And a lot of heros will die while he maneuvers to become president of the world.

More troops = not the answer.

The Answer is 1, 2, 3

1. Take the effing handcuffs off the troops who’re there! Get rid of the PC-Rules Of Engagement and let slip the dogs of war. March through Afghanistan like the Russian Red Army advancing on Berlin. Like Sherman through Atlanta. For God’s Sake war is about VICTORY. Not about molly-coddling a newspaper editor’s feelings!

2. Set loose DARPA, and their genetically tailored micro-herbicide that specifically and uniquely eliminates papaver somniferum, the heroin poppy at the root of all Afghanistan’s evil, and 7/10 of the world’s funding for Islamic terror (and more than a little of the funding of the Democratic Party). End the poppy and Afghanistan ceases to be a problem, end of story. It can be over this time next week.

3. Make it known to Pakistan they can receive the same treatment.

It’s so simple.

Either we should send enough troops to really get the job done or pull them all out. I know the arguments that it is a staging/training ground for the tangos but this half-assed way of fighting is just getting good men and women killed. This is not like Iraq where we deposed of a dictator and installed a democracy, there is no changing this place. They live in the stone age and are happy for it to remain that way.

LD, I’m with you, God bless all of our men and women in uniform. Served my time and proud to have done it but I’m glad it was during Vietnam not this mess. Things were much simpler then.
