Muslim Pleads Guilty To Dallas Bomb Try

From a ho-humming Associated Press:

Jordanian man to plead guilty to Texas bomb plot

(AP) – May 25, 2010

DALLAS — A Jordanian man accused of trying to blow up a downtown Dallas skyscraper has agreed to enter a guilty plea in return for a prison sentence of no more than 30 years.

Documents filed Tuesday in federal court in Dallas show that 19-year-old Hosam Smadi has agreed to plead guilty to attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction.

The charge is punishable by up to life in prison, but the plea agreement signed by Smadi recommends no more than 30 years when he enters his plea in court Wednesday.

Why was he given a ‘plea agreement’? Did they need a confession on top of all of the obviously overwhelming evidence?

Smadi signed a statement admitting to leaving what he thought was a truck bomb in a garage beneath the 60-story Fountain Place building in Dallas in September. The device was a decoy provided by FBI agents posing as al-Qaida operatives.

If Mr. Smadi actually drove what he thought was a truck bomb into the garage of the skyscraper, doesn’t that suggest it was a little bit more than a “plot” – as the headline reads?

By the way, note that no motive is given here. Note too that this attempt was made in September. We wonder if it wasn’t meant to be an anniversary present for 9/11.

Also notice that the entire Associated Press article is a mere five sentences long. Now try to imagine the AP’s excitement if this had been a ‘home-grown domestic terrorist’ who was not from the Middle East.

Apparently, foreign Muslims trying to blow up our buildings is no longer considered very newsworthy by our media masters.

Apparently the media also don’t care to remind us that the Lockerbee Bomber is still alive and living large in Libya.

Under Obama terrorist attacks are becoming as common as the cold. Every few months it seems like a Muslim is primed to attack the United States. And statistically it is only a matter of time before American citizens get killed from the attempts.

As for the sentence, have a heart, he didn’t realize that it would be thirty years. He’s used to Shariah law. If he had “honor killed” a female relative in “moderate” Jordan, he would have received an average of 4 years, assuming he would be prosecuted at all. So we can’t blame him for having trouble with American law for something as insignificant as the mass murder of non-Muslims.

At those terrorist training camps, they may teach them bomb-making, they might teach them how to maximize carnage, they might even tell them how to look more “western” in their style of dress and vernacular. But they cannot teach them about US law. And what an eye-opening moment when US law is PROPERLY administered as opposed to what Holder does. Which, by logical extension, makes me find that Holder and the entire DOJ as well as the boy who sits in the president’s chair are all complicit in the support of eeeez-lame. I mean, talk about draconian laws and patterns of thought.

Anyhow, this kid who got slammed in the plea bargain, shame it wasn’t a life sentence anyhow and well, I’m sure the regime will need to get into his head to find out what the US did to make him act in such a way. Was it our lack of Al Jazeera programing on TV? Captain Crunch cereal, comic books or cut-off jeans? I mean…I’m sure whatever it was, it was our fault and needs to stop.

Hopefully the DOJ will figure it out and soon make whatever it was illegal, thus preserving us from bomb-wielding jeeeeee-haaaadists.
