Guess what one of these protesters does for work? You guessed it – baggage handler at the airport. From today’s UK Daily Mail (www.dailymail.co.uk):

The father of a Muslim extremist who waved hate-filled placards and shouted at soldiers during a homecoming march has insisted he is proud to be British.

Jalal Ahmed brandished a sign saying ‘Anglian soldiers: Butchers of Basra’ at the welcome parade for the Royal Anglian Regiment in his home town of Luton earlier this week.

His part in the protest yesterday saw him lose his airside pass at Luton Airport, where he worked as a baggage handler on a part-time basis. His duties involve loading luggage onto conveyor belts into aircraft holds.

But his father, Helal, insisted today: ‘He has done nothing wrong. He was just exercising his right to protest. I wouldn’t stop him if he wanted to do something similar again.’

He told the Star: ‘He was born in this country in Newcastle and he is proud to be British. He’s a good boy. He doesn’t smoke, he’s done nothing violent and he just likes to pray five times a day at home.’

Yesterday Ahmed’s employer, Menzies Aviation, said it had rescinded his airside pass and he would not be working for them until a full investigation was complete…”

Passed all his security checks too, this fine fellow did, which I can meditate on the next time I’m at the airport, shuffling along holding my shoes, waiting to be frisked…

It is an insult to all the people men/women who are out there fighting for the liberty of muslims/catholics whatever religion.

Why are these people allowed to protest / they would not be alowed that freedom in a Islam state/ they would probably be stoned/hung /tortured etc. Wake up people.

The Koran followers want one supreme religion in the world.

For now, as much as I would like to blame Islam for these people’s actions, I believe their violence and hatred is more cultural than religious. The local Imams and Mullahs just use Islam as a tool to brainwash and impose their will upon their followers. Unfortunately they are very effective and it has become a pandemic problem. These demagogues, in their own self-important totalitarianism, have made it so that it is no longer good enough to just follow Islam, you must promote it above all other things, by force if necessary. If the world was united under Islam, there would be new wars, i.e. those who are the true descendants of Islam and those infidel converts who disgrace Islam with their whiteness, or the raging battle between Sunni and Shiite, Arab and Saudi, etc.

To simply boil the problem down to Islam is over simplifying the problem and undermines our ability to fix it. Although global eradication of Islam would solve the problem, it isn’t tenable.

well, ya know, it’s like America’s reason for disallowing Wilder’s documentary. It might scare people, thus breeding hate, or lead to some discrimination against these people’s religion. If the Brits were to lay a finger on the mob, instead of running backwards, the mob and all their artillary and guns hidden in moques and places of worship, could probably conquer the Brits. The British better put a stop to this. The UN will never provide them aid, and it will mean the USA going over there and helping them. They need to save their country. The USA is starting to follow in their steps. I nearly jumped one of these men dressed like woman when he pulled some funky looking gadget from his long robe. It looked like a remote control. And I was cornered with innocent people, who didn’t even notice. Then he left. I’ll never know what that was he pulled out.

Yeah, that’s #2 on my list. But when the choice is being taxed or be blown to bits for not wearing a burqua (and I refuse to do so!), the bombs win by a hair. Taxes can always be repealed, being atomized, not so much… :)

Why we’d sand a dime of our hard earned to terrorists defies logic. But then again so does electing BHO knowing that a recession was coming and he would change America as we know if. Britain and the US should (but sadly won’t) close it’s borders to anyone wanting to immigrate here from those Middle Eastern countries who are ruled by Islam.

SJ, I have to keep telling myself not all Muslims are bad. Right now I don’t personally know any “radical” ones that want to kill the infidels, but maybe they don’t talk about that in public?
Have you seen the movie “The Kite Runner” or read the book? Both brought me to tears. It’s a fine example of the good that is in Islam, and the evil and bigotry.
