N Korea Gave Less Than Hour’s Notice

From a giddy Reuters:

N. Korea gave U.S. less than an hour’s notice of test

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – North Korea gave the United States less than an hour’s notice of a nuclear test it carried out on Monday, a U.S. official said.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said North Korea did not make any demands when it provided the warning of the test…

"We got less than an hour’s warning on this thing," said the U.S. official, saying the message was conveyed through the "New York channel," a reference to contacts between North Korea diplomats at the United Nations and U.S. officials.

"They made no demands," the U.S. official said.

We are mildly shocked that they gave any notice at all.

Except that they didn’t want the US and the rest of the world to miss the show.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said North Korea did not make any demands when it provided the warning of the test.

Of course Mr. Obama will point to this as a sign that the North Koreans are becoming more reasonable.

And speaking of rationality, will the demonstrations in South Korea match those against the US last year, when we were (falsely) accused of selling tainted beef?

More time than they would give if they decided to close Obamas’ gaping pie hole.

    Obama is a toad!!!!

Air Force 1 is being readied for TCO’s trip to N. Korea; somehow they were left out of his apology tour.
I’m certain that once he apologizes for our preventing them from taking over S. Korea everything will be peachy once again.

Our approach with North Korea has been reparations before apologies.

So now we know that doesn’t work.

The lesson learned is to apologize before paying the reparations.

With The Moron’s finger off the button, we won’t make that mistake again.

And isn’t it good to know that the Hildabeast is every bit as effective as was Madeline Albright. Look what happens when you put good stong women (or good strong women substitutes) in the role of Secretary of State. One hour’s notice. Take that Bushhitlerrice.

The Heritage Foundation would remind us that it only takes roughly 33 minutes after launch for an ICBM to be in US airspace.

So much for the “hours notice” … (as if there would be ANY).

Nancy Pelosi : “If today’s announcement is true, these tests would be a clear violation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1718, which requires that North Korea not conduct any further nuclear tests. Such action by North Korea is unacceptable and cause for great alarm”
She said in a “written statement” from her bed. She thought the last test was a dream, lyrics playing in outer space.
