All these notions have been obviously disproved and discredited by a mountain of evidence and experience — not to mention damned by the horrors of socialist bloodletting and destruction that marked the 20th Century from end to end.

Not having the genuine naivetee and ignorance of earlier periods to trade on, the DC crowd falls back on lies to promote their campaign for total power.

The fact is that governments have been shown to do the same things over and over again, to produce the same results and respond in the same ways.

The governments meddle in matters of business, which they rarely understand, produce terrible results and hardships, and then blame the business people for the results of what they themselves have ordered the business people to do.

They then, normally, demand more power, as a solution.

This too we’ve been able to observe many times.

B.O. is one of the most intellectually out of date people on the political scene, being, as near as I can tell, completely committed to 1930’s communism spiced up with a little post-60’s new-left kookiness, which in turn dates largely back to the 1970’s.

(I doubt that there is anybody on the B.O. team that has even heard of the Austrian school of economics or its later practicioners.)

If the schools gave young people even a smattering of what’s been going on for the last century or two, the idiots we have in DC now would never have made it onto the ballot, much less into office.

And the B.O. team are nothing if not perfect products of the socialistic government school system. B.O. himself being, at least in part, a product of the Indonesian school system, not what you call a beacon of enlightenment in the modern world.

BTW, collectivism in its various forms, is the single oldest approach to social and political matters known to humanity.

It is the emphasis on the individual that is the great and potent advance of the last two centuries.

The socialist approach to things is far beyond merely reactionary. It is a throwback to the pre-commercial days of subsistence farming, hunting and gathering that date back before history and literacy.

I want to take a moment to thank my parents, my non-liberal teachers in school, my military leaders who taught me how to use my crap filters. Unfortunately, they get clogged pretty heavily and pretty quickly these days. Global warming “crisis”, economic “crisis”, ENERGY “crisis”…Housing “crisis”, Credit “crisis”. Say, let’s do a George Carlin…and replace the word “crisis” with the word “circus”. Interestingly, a distinction without a difference.

There is only one real crisis, (or circus if you prefer) and that’s Bo-Bo the clown and his three-ring-circus. In America, there may be a sucker born every minute but in the current society we have today, the suckers are the ones all running to the gunwales to flip the boat over.
