New Edwards Ad On Hillary’s “Double-Speak”

The John Edwards camp has come out with a new campaign ad pointing up Hillary’s two-facedness during the Democrat debate the other night:

The Politics of Parsing

Of course Mr. Edwards should talk.

But still, this is exactly what the GOP should be doing.

Still it should have had a musical theme, especially since Hillary had used a number from “The Marriage of Figaro” in her "The Politics of Pile-On" video.

Possibly “La donna è mobile” (“Woman is fickle/flighty/changeable”) from Verdi’s Rigoletto would have been quite apt:

Woman is flighty

Woman is flighty
Like a feather in the wind,
She changes her voice — and her mind.
Always sweet,
Pretty face,
In tears or in laughter — she is always lying.

Refrain
Woman is flighty
Like a feather in the wind,
She changes the tone of her voice and her thoughts,
And her thoughts!
And her thoughts!

Always miserable
Is he who trusts her,
He who confides in her — his unwary heart!
Yet one never feels
Fully happy
Who on that bosom — does not drink love!

Refrain
Woman is flighty
Like a feather in the wind,
She changes the tone of her voice and her thoughts,
And her thoughts!
And her thoughts!

Though even these lyrics are still far too kind.
