Ortega’s Troops Near Honduras Border

From an overjoyed Agence France-Pressee:

Bolivia’s President Evo Morales, Honduras’ ousted President Manuel Zelaya, Nicaragua’s President Daniel Ortega, Venezuela’s President Hugo Chavez and Ecuador’s President Rafael Correa attend the ALBA emergency meeting in Nicaragua June 29, 2009.

Nicaragua troops head toward Honduran border: Micheletti

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras (AFP) – The interim leader of Honduras Roberto Micheletti on Sunday denounced movements of troops in Nicaragua toward the countries’ joint border, ahead of the expected explosive return of the ousted Honduran president.

"We have been informed that in the sector of Nicaragua some troops are moving toward the border," Micheletti said in a televised news conference.

The Nicaraguans, being such famously staunch defenders of democracy, would naturally take up arms in their concern for Honduras’ constitution.

By the way, any word as to whether Jimmy Carter is leading the troops?

The Honduran people(Leaders) have far more courage than the so-called leaders in the United States to be able to recognize when their constitution is being blatantly stepped on and thrown in their face.

How is it that a far more connected and informed people(U.S.) are the most belligerently ignorant wholly moronic human beings, compared to a tiny little country in Central America, showing the rest of the world what it is like to stand up for your beliefs. We should be following suit from the example being set by the people down there!!!

Me thinks Ortegas’ intention is to invade …………. not stand with, Chinnubie!

It’s simple: the United States by and large has been blessed with too much. Our past accomplishments as a nation have served the greatest good and at the same time the most self-destructive bad.

For over a generation now we have had a great number in our population content with the small world that they’re given. Like the movie ‘The Truman Show’, many Americans grow up knowing of a world outside of their bubble but being told not to care about it for there is nothing but pain and evil in it anyway.

The self-constructed realities of men circumvent the greater realities of God and Our Truths, and this is comfortable to an individual who has from childhood probably has had little direction or insight towards the ageless wisdom of man – distorting history, destroying faith, killing, just killing people’s drive for more.

In Honduras life is harder, yes, but it can also be simpler in a way. For when hardships abound, so do the very truths that become convoluted in the debate here become very evident there. People crave liberty; intellectual, financial, emotional, and spiritual independence. Once this is earned, it is never let go of. The problem here isn’t just that America is having her freedoms taken away, it’s that there’s not enough American’s that personally value it anymore, at least over the prospect of security.

So, we’ve been blessed too much. But as more and more people go through their own personal hardships, either directly or indirectly because of the pain this administration’s policies cause, the more they’ll identify again with that one truth we call crave.

      VMAN ………….Troupes?

Do they plan to throw a musical or a song and dance show? (sarc)
Barry is doing what needs to be done. He is campaigning is Russia while winding down his “Apology Tour ’09” with the fam in tow!! We are soooooo lucky to have such a groveler and Jackboot kisser as King of Ghetto Amerika!

Colonel Banana Obana ,,, fits just right with this crowd

    • MinnesotaRush says:

Heck .. at a quick glance, the guy on the far right looks like o-blah-blah (with a few more pounds).

  4. Right of the People says:

The Hondurans made the same mistake as the Venezuelans and probably all these other banana republics made when they ousted their president, they left him alive. One in the forehead would have stopped all this foolishness with no worries about this bozo coming back and taking over again like Chavez did in 2002.

  5. mathews says:

and where’s the NObama condemnation of Venezuelan and Nicaraguan troops against Lawful Constitutional Honduras.

  6. yossarian says:

Vive la gente libre de Honduras! Son un bueno ejemplo para todo el mundo que se importa los leyes.

I think that the Honduran people have provided an excellent example by actually FOLLOWING THEIR CONSTITUTION. Wow, what a novel concept! Wish we could do that here! My apologies to the Hondurans on this board for all the ignoramuses in THIS country that are too busy watching “American Idol” etc. and who are the drones that the Government schools wanted them to be. Rest assured that some of us understand what is going on here, and I’d rather be part of a dedicated, passionate majority (especially one that is in the RIGHT!) than an ambivalent, amoral majority.

The Honduran prez clearly violated their constitution and tried to seize power. The other branches of government tried to stop that and succeeded. Some of Zelaya’s own party are against him now, and his own attorney general (executive branch now) said his actions were illegal too.

SO, if you think that maybe the news coverage up in the USA is a bunch of lies and lies by omission, then don’t you think it is about time for a massive Mainstream Media Boycott? Only trusted or conservative papers, TV and radio get bought, listened to etc. etc. Don’t give me this @$%$ about being “circumspect” or open minded. We are ignoring / boycotting the propagandists PRECISELY BECAUSE WE ARE OPEN MINDED AND CIRCUMSPECT PEOPLE.

If you agree, then preach it far and wide, to everyone you see. I have hand enough with the “vanguard of the proletariat” and their propaganda. Payback time.
