Despite the blood-curdling litany of the US’s crimes against humanity and the spine-tingling calls for "Death to America" from such stem-winders as Hugo Chavez and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad — some of the delegates to the Non-aligned summit still found it to be sleepy time down south:

A member of the Iranian delegation sleeps during the final speeches of the Nonaligned Summit in Havana, Cuba, Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006.

Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe closes his eyes as he listens to the closing statement from acting Cuban President Raul Castro at the summit for Non-Aligned nations in Havana September 17, 2006.

A delegate from Botswana sleeps during the closing ceremony of the summit of Non-Aligned nations in Havana September 17, 2006.

Delegates from Jordan sleep during the closing ceremony of the summit of Non-Aligned nations in Havana September 17, 2006.

But who can blame them?

They’ve heard it all so many times before.
