Fast forward - Earl is out, Delay is out, the Dems got another seat and another step toward the majority - the Dems got their Ethics investigation 'disappeared' and oh by the way - no trial for Delay. Now where did I hear about something like that after it? Oh yeah a guy named Foley smeared as a sex pervert. Hassert stated that an investigation was done (while the young 'victim' was a page) and while distasteful - nothing unethical occurred. So within that touchy 30 days (thanks McAmnesty/Feingold) before an election, low and behold this icky email appears - Foley is charged - drops out - laws don't allow the Repubs to put another name in and the Dems got another seat and another step toward a majority. Fast forward - the charges dropped (when it came out that the email was sent after the guy was 1) no longer a page and 2) over 18 slimy yes, illegal no, Foley is gone and smeared into obliviation. Now where did I hear about something like that after it? Oh yeah, the lil ole Hockey Mom from Alaska - Sarah Palin. Charges (what was it 18 lawsuits) but let us not forget the Dem headed, Dem inspired Troopergate that went on and on and on - netting nothing but implications, smears and lies (probably all on our taxpayer dime too). Smeared (to this day) by a statement that She did not make but rather an idiot (although I have to say a real spot on interpretation) actress made in a comedic sketch. I don't know who comes off as the most stupid in this scenario - the stupid masses out there who believed it - or the DNC operatives that passed it as fact - or the idiots who still to this day use the tag line 'I can see Russia from my house'? Not a whit of truth, yet smear away to this day. Oh btw, don't forget they managed to not only smear the campaign (shouldn't have bothered with McAmnesty as the head of the ticket, it wasn't a winner anyway) - but managed to get from office one of the few Govs who wasn't buying the Porkulus money - don't you wonder about the Stanford affair 'suddenly' exploding - when he too was against Porkulus money for his state? Convenient, coincidence - or intentional? Yeah, the conservatives/right are the only ones who use one single (all though if you look at ________fill in the blank - Jones, ACORN, etc from the Obama Administration - all have a long line of interconnection, deceit, graft, corruption, and anti-American ideas, beliefs and agendas) minor mistake and blow it up to drive the person/organization away. Yeah - project much DNC/NYTs/Liberals?
