Those are typical political tricks, and the gay people are either playing along, or too stupid to realize what it is.

Politicians say and do things to LOOK LIKE they are appealing to a diverse population, but that is just lip service, the people who know him know his real agenda, and just confidently ignore these shallow appeals to the unwashed rabble.

And conservatives are either playing along, or too stupid to realize it’s just lip service.

One thing I never quite see in the fawning media — and oh, how they fawn! — is something I always notice about Obama. Oh, I know he rose from the grim corruption of Illinois and I fully expect he is corrupt as hell. But what always strikes me is how damned boring he is. Oh my holy Lord, is he boring. He drones on and on and on and on. I cannot do four years of this. If there exists a merciful Lord, and Obama is re-elected, I’ll die before then. I just can’t do it. Because, well, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

So what’s the deal with Obama picking Rick Warren for his inauguration? Warren (inadvertently?) made him look like an idiot. And why is he okay with fanning the flame on the LGBT fire in CA right now? I can’t figure out his angle. He’s not going to “get” conservatives by putting Warren up there. Will he drop Warren after the hissy fit?

You know I am so damn sick and tired of that history in the making pc (rammed down our throats, constantly) garbage that I have to wonder – if they will use it if some (hopefully radical islamic) nutcase offs The One ™?

Bet that will be the fastest end to that little ditty – gee only thing I could think of that would end it faster is if The One ™ was caught ahem, in a sexual escapade with a man.

Naw, come to think of that – that would indeed make The One ™ truly history in the making.

Well, once the inauguration is over, so will the history making. At that point he is just plain President. And just because he is black doesn’t mean he is going to be successful. History could judge it as a failed presidency or he could be successful, but that is going to depend on the decisions he makes, not the color of his skin.

We are still in a time of war and I really want to support our President but what I am seeing so far in an economic sense is making that difficult.
