I wish that when I died I could have a NYT obituary that hateful. Be like a Catholic gettign a Solemn Pontifical Requiem Mass or somethin’.

I’m still not going to cheer that he’s dead–leave that to the Kostards–but even being hated by the NYT doesn’t quite make up for a lifetime of anti-semitism and support of terrorism.

I always enjoyed Mr. Novak’s unapologetic honesty and his insistence on telling it as he saw it letting the chips fall where they may even if I didn’t always agree with him. The contrast with his passing and that of Uncle Walter’s and how it has been reported by our betters says a lot about the DC culture.

You know, somebody had to tell me Robert Novak was a ‘Conservative’. A characteristic I would never have guessed from his writing. He struck me as the Washington insider. Which I despise.
