Obama Buys Two More Democrat Votes

From the National Republican Congressional Committee:

Code Red Moves Cardoza and Costa to “Yes” Votes on Gov’t Healthcare Takeover After Water Deal

Is this Another Backroom Deal to Force Obama’s Bill Down the American People’s Throats?

March 17, 2010

As a vote approaches on Obama and Pelosi’s government takeover of healthcare, Code Red is now considering two supposedly “undecided” California Democrats, Dennis Cardoza and Jim Costa, to now be “yes” votes.

The U.S. Department of Interior announced yesterday that it is increasing water allocations for the Central Valley of California, a region that depends on these water allocations to support local agriculture and jobs. The region has recently been starved for water and as a result unemployment has soared.  Not surprisingly, Cardoza and Costa had a hand in the announcement:

“Typically, Reclamation would release the March allocation update around March 22nd, but moved up the announcement at the urging of Senators Feinstein and Boxer, and Congressmen Costa and Cardoza.”(“Interior Announces Increased Water Supply Allocations in California,” U.S. Department of Interior news release, 3/16/10)

Will Cardoza and Costa come clean about this apparent backroom deal for their votes?

Of course they won’t.

And Mr. Gibbs will call anyone suggesting such a thing “very silly.”

An oppressive federal government in action.

Create a drought by wielding power it should not Constitutionally possess – then open the valve when necessary to acquire even more power. It is feeding time for the beast.

So, the government causes a crises, and then uses that crises as future leverage against its citizens? I am beyond shocked at the abusive relationship between Washington and everyone else.

But we should be used to it. Gov’t invents a crisis like global warming, and they make excuses to rush in and take your rights away, once they have your agreement that they should do something.

~These are bad times for sure…..

Only hardcore liberal communists love this stuff. Other liberals just want a government that works, and are disgusted by all of this. No American enjoys seeing this abuse of power, leading us one step closer to open insurrection.

When in the course of human events, every American can recount at least one instance of horrific abuse by their government, they either take action, or are apathetic when others take action against their government. (IRS airplane driver)

    It really is depressing…..

As I’ve long said, there’s no doubt this will pass. Between bribes and threats, no Democrat (other than those “allowed to” by prearrangement) will get away with voting “No” on health care.

By Friday afternoon they’ll be on to “Immigration Reform” with the same results.

People have the mistaken idea that the Democrats care what you think.

Every elected official I’ve talked to has had the attitude “You didn’t vote for me last time, and you’re sure as #$@! not going to vote for me next time, so why should I care what you have to say?””

Calling your Congress critter is a waste of time, IMHO, as they already have had their minds made up for them by Barry and the DNC.

The Obama mafia running America. What a terrible role models.

Saw him standing over and leaning into Pelosi so close, he had to repeatedly stab his finger pointing downwards to hell. She looked like a frozen zombie in a trance. It was a scary surreal chilling scene.

What a disgrace the cheating, bullying Obama mafia is to the human race.
To bad they have no pride or dignity. A bullying beast running in Washington feeding off the little people. Thieves & liars.

Look at this sassy article by the AP: Idaho first to sign law aimed at health care plan.

Constitutional law experts say the movement is mostly symbolic because federal laws supersede those of the states.

No AP, federal law only supersedes state law WHEN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS THE CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO DO SO. That is the whole point of the Idaho threat. AP could have wrote: “The passing of health care will be mostly symbolic, since the federal government has no authority to supersede state law in this matter.”
