Obama Chills Free Speech On Healthcare

As you may have heard by now, the Obama administration has created yet another site to counter the ‘disinformation’ campaign against them.

Their earlier site, created during the campaign, was called “Fight The Smears,” and was itself larded with several lies and misrepresentations, as we noted at the time.

(For instance, the site falsely claimed Rush Limbaugh substantiated the Michelle Obama ‘White Tapes’ hoax started by Democrat spokesman Larry Johnson.)

Ironically, the Obama people are now using a quote from John Adams that was heavily mocked when popularized by none other than Ronald Wilson Reagan during his campaign against Michael Dukakis“Facts Are Stubborn Things”:

Facts Are Stubborn Things

Posted by Macon Phillips

Opponents of health insurance reform may find the truth a little inconvenient, but as our second president famously said, "facts are stubborn things." …

And they go on to ask people to snitch on those who do not toe the government line:

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care.  These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation.  Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

And, coincidentally, we are immediately seeing the fruits of this campaign in our email inbox:

Subject: Health Care Reform Issues

I’m so sick of getting untruthful e-mails about health care reform, that I’ve decided to send these links to Snopes regarding two of the most commonly sent e-mails. Please read them carefully.

Of course no one is in favor of disinformation. But the Obama folks are past masters of spreading untruths. (See our link to the Fight The Smears site above.)

Moreover, how does this do anything to encourage an open debate on the subject of healthcare?

From the start the Obama administration has sought to demonize anyone who questions their program – calling them Swift Boaters. (Which is actually a compliment, but they don’t mean it that way.)

Meanwhile they have put together a coalition of some of the most notorious propagandist thugs in the history of our nation:

A campaign that is being run by the selfsame people who were spreading disinformation in order to get us to surrender in Iraq.

But their lies are okay.

    “send it to flag@whitehouse.gov

Do you suppose that is Randal Flag?

  2. proreason says:

From wikipedia: “The French Revolution (1789–1799) was a period of political and social upheaval and radical change in the history of France”

It has only been 220 years since the aristocracy of an entire country was summarilly eliminated for arrogantly ignoring the wishes of people they thought they controlled with absolute impunity.

  3. The Curious Case of Barack’s Paranoia:

“…Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House,…”

Perhaps the next underground poster will utilize the word ‘fascism’.

  4. sheehanjihad says:

Want to have some fun? Find the Obama websites, cut and paste the lie d’jour, and send it to the flag site with “concerns about this rumor” from the administration’s own websites.

If they need snitches and neighbor against neighbor tactics, use them to your benefit. Plus, those automotons in charge of reporting the betrayals of fellow citizens will just put them in the “rumor to be quashed” section like they are told to do.

It’s hilarious, making them actually have to read their own propaganda you send in as a “nasty rumor”. Try it! You’ll like it, plus, you overload their own systems reporting their own lies!!

I’m sure no one would have been upset if the ‘W’ had done something like this…

Not sure whether this constitutes “disinformation” or not. This is from pages 429 and 430 of “H. R. ll

Would I be “creating a dangerous rumor” to suggest that this language sounds to me to be a process by which the government would have significant control over whether people who check into “skilled nursing facilities” would be provided life-saving treatments.

    • wardmama4 says:

      Wow – I entered an ER at between 11PM – 12AM –

‘patient is pulse less, apneic, or has serious cardiac or pulmonary problems’

      – so this particular passage scares me to death –

I was not unconscious – nor even by that point in pain – my pulse less, bp less state was brought about by a sudden, massive hemorrhage (I had a miscarriage). The ER Doc was in a quandary – she knew I needed to be sent to OB for them to do the necessary ‘clean up’ – but she could not release me from the ER as I had no pulse or bp – even though I was talking to her.

Such narrow criteria truly terrifies me – It is also one reason my husband and I won’t ‘put’ our son in a residential care facility. The Party of Death – who now is attempting to take over the Health Care System – would define both of us as ‘hopeless cases’. And do nothing.

My son has a DNR for any serious situation in the future. We do want to be able to rest assured that mundane or even a relatively serious (but not terminal/traumatic) situation will be treated for him.

BTW, the ER situation I was in was 1982 – I was 27 years old. The Internal Medicine Doctor pronounced his diagnosis afterward with a prognosis that I would be dead by 30. [I’m much better now]

I have more belief in the Health Care Professionals than I do Obama/Congress – as it has been 3 or 4 Doctors/Nurses that really were terrible over the 29 years as an Army wife. I can write out (without googling) probably 20 Congresscritters & most of the adult years of Obama – that are full of lies, distortions and un-ethical behaviors.

    • Rusty Shackleford says:

—Hm, Written by lawyers. But I’ll submit that a lawyer has no more business administering healthcare than a doctor of medicine has litigating a case in the courtroom.

I still believe that the issue here is not care for the people. As you have pointed out Pro, our system is relatively fine as-is. The aforementioned litigation should be minimized and most likely, the costs of malpractice insurance has been driven into the ionosphere due to liberal judges seeking “social justice” when blaming doctors for making a mistake.

It’s ludicrous on the very face of it.

Nope, it’s about the angry hippies, who have demanded that the government take care of people ever since they put on a peace sign and said the word “groovy”. They have hated and fought tooth and nail over the very concept of of socialism and used John Lennon as their spokesman.

It’s about control now. The issue has transmogrified into that of an angry hissy-fit over the why, the wherefores and the how-comes. They are pissed. And like angry people anywhere, they bear considerable watching for the only thing spiteful behavior does is satisfy the spiteful. And even then it’s counterproductive.

Logic doesn’t work. They cannot see that every nation where socialized medicine is used is a complete, abject failure. The utopian ideal is what matters. Logic, facts and evidence are ignored in lieu of dreams, ideals and good intentions.

Since they don’t believe in Hell, you cannot give them the “road to Hell is paved with good intentions” saw. When you approach them with a logical argument, you are a mongoloid, racist hater of mankind as they see it when nothing could be further from the truth.

And this is why I lose sleep at night over such issues. When you point out that their intentions and goals are no less dangerous than Lenin, Marx, Hitler, Stalin, and every other “benevolent dictator” on the planet.

And then I wake up. It dawns on me that they have hated our system since the first time they got treated badly by a teacher or any other authority figure. And it may be as simple as that. Anger is a very insidious and manipulative force, even to the person who is angry. They often truly do not understand why they act the way they do because two of the closest allies to anger are rationalization and deflection of blame. There are many others but when you have that many angry people in government, doing the things they are doing like…again, Pelosi, Holder, Frank, Reid, and on and on, you get a collective Borg-like consciousness that exists simply to service itself.

And that pummels me further into despair.

Trying to explain to a liberal that our government was intentionally set up to be inefficient so that rash judgments and autocratic decisions could not be made is like trying to explain string theory to a dog.

They actually believe that “things should be done and done quickly…and they should be done the way I believe”. After all, what they believe is correct and right and good. But their approach to a problem is always from an emotional foundation and then built upon with weak examples and only data that fits their emotional position.

Like this: 1990. Liberal states, “Saddam Hussein is evil. He is killing people. Why doesn’t the government DO something?”

1991. “Hussein invaded poor little Kuwait. They are unplugging babies from incubators…why doesn’t our government DO something?”

1991. Bush asks Congress to invade. Congress says “ok”.

That’s when the trouble begins. All the nutjobs and self-aggrandizing idiots come out of the woodwork seeing an opportunity to scrutinize and criticize every move the Bush administration makes.

1991. US forces wipe out Hussein’s military in short order.

Then it gets more interesting. We spend 8 years with the horny first black president. He blips out on occasion to get a piece of tail while leaving the Secret Service behind. Nobody says a word. He feeds his sexual hunger and given that I’ve read about addicts periodically in my lifetime, I can say that his primary purpose in the White House was plotting how to next feed his addiction.

      Nothing is said.

      Time passes.

Terrorists take shot after shot at the US. The USS Cole, the Embassy, etc, etc.

Bill-Jeff cannot be bothered. He is pressured and decides to launch some cruise missiles at “suspected” Al-Queda sites. Kind of a non-event. He also makes terrorist acts against the US ….against the law…in a sweeping bit of lawyer-esque, totally awesome legislation.

      He’s so cool.

He goes on Letterman and blows his horn.

However, he is more concerned with getting laid.

It blows up in his face and the news media reluctantly reports that he was caught with his hand in the cookie jar, so to speak.

The MSM, throughout it all, does its level best to hide the truth and give this poor, misunderstood, (but really cool) guy the benefit of the doubt…..Remember these are the same people who skewered Nixon.

Finally W comes along. Not the sharpest pencil in the box, but ok. Unfortunately, the rumblings of the left are still in groundswell mode, thinking it was bad what we did to Iraq. How that mindset got any credibility is beyond me, but ok.

      Until….after 9/11.

W decides that Hussein must go. He asks Congress, based on intel that indicated he was working on biological agents and nuclear materials for war. With that, who could say it wasn’t a bad idea to go there, kick his ass and do a thorough search? Very few people complained. The nation is still angry (there’s that word again) over how we somehow couldn’t stop a bunch of maniacs from flying airplanes into buildings.

Then Afghanistan. Mothers got angry their sons and daughters were being killed there. Funny how they are all against terrorism until it comes time to actually put up a fight. And it’s not even them on the line…it’s their children. But rather than be proud of this, and giving the sacrifice they make the reverence it deserves, they are angry.

Angry at Bush. Angry at Cheney. Angry at everything and everyone except….the terrorists.

      How did this happen?

It happened because the opponents of the Republican party fed into it. They used that anger to feed a fire of hatred. And when anger and hatred are present, it all comes out of the woodwork. Every issue, every past injustice, every single thing that makes them angry.

I was always taught that when I was angry to look at myself first. Not to act out of malice…but to find a way to deal with that anger and move on. However, people of lesser strength got support from the liberal machine. The fuel for wanting to destroy the conservatives has nothing to do with any issue….it’s about satiating anger. Problem is, you can’t. The more you work to seek revenge and harm to the doer of injustice is to do harm in unintended ways.

Often, anger towards another is anger towards oneself.

Thus the concept of justice versus vengeance. Liberals seek vengeance. Conservatives seek justice.

Notice the symbolism on the logo: his symbol dominating OVER a map of the United States, much like AF1 over the statue of liberty.

    • proreason says:

      You’re right, curvy.

It was bad enough that he had his own presidential seal when he was a candidate, but to re-invent the graphics of the POTUS once in office is beyond creepy.

    • Rusty Shackleford says:

The easiest and quickest way to prove something is “cheap” is to “update” it and make it more “cool”.

The seal of the POTUS has been unchanged since its inception. Our symbols speak of who we are and why we are. No updating required.

To me, it’s putting curb-feelers and dark-tinted windows and a speckle paintjob on something that should truly be left alone.

  8. CIV says:

Aw, folks, there’s an easy way to combat this. Just submit flag@whitehouse.gov to all your favorite spammers! Maybe they would also like subscriptions to various online sites — conservative and liberal, so they can get both sides of the story. And I’m sure they would like to receive specials and coupons from your favorite retailers and e-tailers.

If I have to dig through 100+ pieces of sludge each morning, why shouldn’t they?

BTW, anybody know if TAX DOLLARS are being used to pay the snitch recipients?

  9. pdsand says:

Man the republicans just can’t get right. Why do they have to lie all the time? Don’t they know the good people will expose them? I just don’t get it. Well I sure am glad Obama’s here to fight the good fight for us little people.

  10. Rusty Shackleford says:

Methinks thou dost protest too much, Obama.

  11. wardmama4 says:

If you have any wonders or fears about where this concept (snitching on your neighbor) originated and/or can go – I suggest you rent Das Leben der Anderen (The Lives of Others) (2006, Best Foreign Language Film Oscar) – about the East Germany Stasi.

We have seen the enemy and they are us.

I wonder where are all the people who have sworn to:

do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic

    Congressional Oath

Which are the same words that the US Armed Forces use?

This is so Un-Constitutional – Where are the Edward R. Murrows of 2009?

Where is anyone who is willing to speak up about this? GOP? Anyone? Anyone?

  12. Melly says:

Barry and his mob are not resting this August.
    Check out http://my.barackobama.com/page/s/commitaugust

Additionally – I have the dishonor of being on his email list (keep your enemies close) – I received the following today:

This is the moment our movement was built for.

For one month, the fight for health insurance reform leaves the backrooms of Washington, D.C., and returns to communities across America. Throughout August, members of Congress are back home, where the hands they shake and the voices they hear will not belong to lobbyists, but to people like you.

Home is where we’re strongest. We didn’t win last year’s election together at a committee hearing in D.C. We won it on the doorsteps and the phone lines, at the softball games and the town meetings, and in every part of this great country where people gather to talk about what matters most. And if you’re willing to step up once again, that’s exactly where we’re going to win this historic campaign for the guaranteed, affordable health insurance that every American deserves.

There are those who profit from the status quo, or see this debate as a political game, and they will stop at nothing to block reform. They are filling the airwaves and the internet with outrageous falsehoods to scare people into opposing change. And some people, not surprisingly, are getting pretty nervous. So we’ve got to get out there, fight lies with truth, and set the record straight.

That’s why Organizing for America is putting together thousands of events this month where you can reach out to neighbors, show your support, and make certain your members of Congress know that you’re counting on them to act.

But these canvasses, town halls, and gatherings only make a difference if you turn up to knock on doors, share your views, and show your support. So here’s what I need from you:

Can you commit to join at least one event in your community this month?

In politics, there’s a rule that says when you ask people to get involved, always tell them it’ll be easy. Well, let’s be honest here: Passing comprehensive health insurance reform will not be easy. Every President since Harry Truman has talked about it, and the most powerful and experienced lobbyists in Washington stand in the way.

But every day we don’t act, Americans watch their premiums rise three times faster than wages, small businesses and families are pushed towards bankruptcy, and 14,000 people lose their coverage entirely. The cost of inaction is simply too much for the people of this nation to bear.

So yes, fixing this crisis will not be easy. Our opponents will attack us every day for daring to try. It will require time, and hard work, and there will be days when we don’t know if we have anything more to give. But there comes a moment when we all have to choose between doing what’s easy, and doing what’s right.

This is one of those times. And moments like this are what this movement was built for. So, are you ready?

Please commit now to taking at least one action in your community this month to build support for health insurance reform:

Let’s seize this moment and win this historic victory for our economy, our health and our families.

    Thank you,

    President Barack Obama

    • proreason says:

I have a friend who lives in a remote area of the lower Catskill Mountain region in New York – in the woods. She was stunned that Obama’s tentacles reached even her.

      Obama the Squid.

    • dulcimergrl says:

    • TwilightZoned says:

This past Saturday my friend, a registered Democrat (hasn’t changed it since Independents are not allowed to vote in our state primaries), received a phone call from an obvious ethnic back round solicitor asking for her support on Obama-Care (my words) by contacting at least 5 of her friends and asking them to support it. She point blank told them she did not support any type of national health care and would not tell others to support it, then hung up on the still talking solicitor. I asked if she if she requested who was calling, as I immediately thought ACORN or one of it’s many underlings, but she didn’t think to ask. Yeah, O is definitely running scared on this one and let’s keep it that way.

As far as door to door…thank God I live in a no solicitation neighborhood or someone would get an earful as they felt the boot off my property.

    • caligirl9 says:

Was that supposed to inspire me?

I too would “welcome” a visit by one of those fools. I would not gently and politely say “I’m not interested,” and slowly shut the door. I’d laugh and slam it in their faces.

    • Diane says:

I received that exact same email today. I’ve just forwarded it to flag@whitehouse.gov. I’m so thankful that the Government is keeping track of these “fishy”, obviously phony statistics.

    • Yarddog1 says:

This will make a great movie – “Night of the Living Brain Dead”.

  13. curvyred says:

I find it very telling that not one “media” outlet has covered this story.

Fox news does have a column on the issue.

The Hill has this interesting article:

“Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.) is worried that the White House will use a new media outreach program to collect the personal data of its political opponents.”

“Yesterday, the White House asked supporters to forward “fishy” claims or rumors about the President’s healthcare plan to a White House email address as a way to respond to “disinformation.”

“Cornyn says this practice would let the White House collect personal information about people who oppose the President.”

“By requesting citizens send ‘fishy’ emails to the White House, it is inevitable that the names, email, addresses, IP addresses and private speech of U.S. citizens will be reported to the White House,” Cornyn wrote in a letter to Obama. “You should not be surprised that these actions taken by your White House staff raise the specter of a data collection program.”

    Here is another interesting twist:

Lanny Davis names and photographed, provided by the MSM:

“The “shout downs” organized by the Republican right meet one of the classic definition of “fascist” tactics–defined as using shouting and disruption to deprive the civil and respectful debate of ideas. There is literally no defense to these tactics. I don’t criticize those who feel genuine anger or fear and show up to meetings to express those emotions. But I do call out the tactic of screaming and disrupting a meeting and the fact that this is a systematic tactic by thugs who want to prevent civil discourse, not promote it.”

“Let’s have the media name names, publish photographs, and do interviews of those responsible for approving, even organizing these techniues. And let’s find an investigative journalist – are there many left – to prove these so-called grassroots shouters are, or are not, being paid. ”

Oh my, seems to me many lefties are projecting.

Funny how when Barry just said last year ” to get into their faces” – what now he doesn’t want that?

  14. Yarddog1 says:

What galls me is that this Klown is using my money against me. It is kind of like living in a neighborhood with a homeowner association. I digress.

With his promotions he should easily win the “salesman of the year award”.

Pro – “let one of these thugs knock on my door” – I have a big agressive dog who likes to eat arms and legs and always goes for the throat. Her owner also has sharp teeth.

    • TwilightZoned says:

“What galls me is that this Klown is using my money against me.”

Excellent point. Now that really frosts my behind!!!

  15. VMAN says:

Can’t we just organize a campaign to overwhelm this site and shut it down? It’s been done before. I mean it’s not like they don’t already know who we all are.

    • matrix12x says:

I have already went to a few of their sites and sent that e-mail address their own sites in e-mails marked spam or as “rumor”. I would totally be in for a campaign to overwhelm and shut this down.

    • Colonel1961 says:

  16. Colonel1961 says:

How ironic. The e-mail at the top was written by Macon Phillips – local boy – we went to the same prep school. His father is an arthritis doctor here in town – I’ll have to ask him how he feels about his son’s part in this healthcare crusade when I see him at church next Sunday. Curiouser and curiouser. Or sicker and sicker…

  17. arnie.johnson says:

You know, you guys lost the election so buck up already. The vast majority of Americans want to have a public option to healthcare insurance. Not a takeover but an option to existing insurance. You’re not going to win this battle because access to health care is a human right, nothing less. Fear mongering speculative opinions given as facts are tactics most everyone but the super-paranoid recognizes in this post W era. So when your BS games don’t work, you can thank your beloved George W Bush for having deceived his country into a needless war in Iraq among many other lies he signed off on.
What continues to shock me is the hatred so many who post here have toward our new president. So is this Sweetness and Light stuff an extension of FAUX News or what? I believe that if you thought even one of the president’s ideas had merit you would trash it simply because it came from him or his administration. What’s that? You just agreed with me, didn’t you?

    • catie says:

Arnie, welcome from Kos. So nice to have you here. Maybe you can channel some of your hatred and tell us why you’re so upbeat about going down the hospice chute someday.
Guess you heard about this site from Rush. Again, you’re a real class act with your talking points taking directly from the messiah himself.

Arnie, please show me in the Constitution where a right to insurance is located. I cannot find it and it’s really not a “human right” either.

    • JohnMG says:

Arnie just dropped in for a reality check.

I feel sorry for you Arnie. I don’t hate your love object, but I do hate what he’s doing to the country. Pity there are so many such as yourself who can’t recognize what’s happening right under your snobbish, upturned, condescending nose. But then, no one would confuse you or Obama with an intellectual.

Oh, yes. There are elections looming on the horizon. My fervent hope is that you and those like you continue your puerile tirades right up to election day, at which time you’ll be able to read…”you guys lost the election so buck up already” in the-letters-to-the-editor section of a near-bankrupt left-wing rag.

In the meantime, soldier on in your solo effort to once again demonstrate why “a mind is a terrible thing to waste”. That IS your picture on the poster, is it not?

    • Liberals Demise says:

AJ, believe it or not you lost too! It is your nation this clown thug radical is destroying! Where is it written that health care is a human right? You must be making this up as you go. So, housing and a job and car are human rights too? Please tell me where to find this in the “Bill of Rights”. Maybe you can point to the place in the Constitution where “We hold these truths to be self evident that there is a right that all households have 2 chickens in every pot.”

You can take off your “one size fits all liberals” hate glasses. Dinglebarry is the one who wants you to turn in fellow Americans for not agreeing to Nobama Care. How patriotic are you? You willing to rat out fellow countrymen to a Socialist Take Over of your Basic Human Rights and Freedoms? Hitler had the children turn in their parents for non Nazi behavior. How’s that Hope and Change, so far?

You may think you won an election but many of your fellow democrats are coming down off the high and seeing that Barry is a stickman thug hell bent on dumping the American economy. In the end, we all lose but for some of us it won’t happen without the struggle for our “Human Rights”!!

    • Colonel1961 says:

Hey Arnie: saying something does not make it so. Please tell me how and why ‘access to heath care is a human right’. It’s not in the Constitution. People died all the time from little or nothing back then. Now that hard work and capitalism have created a world-class health care system for those who have EARNED IT – the liberals want to call it a human right with which to buy votes. My ass, Arn. My ass.

Prove it. Spell it out. Convince me. Make your agrument. Or shut the hell up.

      I’m waiting…

p.s. we hated it when Hillary tried it, as well, so it has nothing to do with Barack. Ad hominems don’t work here, Arnie, baby…

  18. arnie.johnson says:

Access to decent health care is a human right in every other civilized country. I still like to think we are a civilized country. Would you deny care to a sick child because his parent’s are poor and cannot afford the exhorbitant cost?
I believe we need to change healthcare in this country for many reasons, I think we will be victorious in that and all the hooey and senseless paranoia y’all are spewing will be proven false. My mother is being cared for by a hospice team as we speak. She had to do a living will as part of the hospice protocol, so it’s nothing new.
And the war you don’t want to hear about anymore? It put us trillions of dollars in debt and helped the financial meltdown materialize right along with all the greedy Wall Street players and deceivers. Our health care system doesn’t work. Surely you can see that, right?

    • Liberals Demise says:

Six months into his presidency and BooBoo has us 1 trillion $$$$$ in debt. It took George W. 2 1/2 years to do the same and that’s with a 2 front war going on. Now …… what’s your point, pal?

    • catie says:

Well Arnie, then I hope you understand that not all of us want to go the hospice route. Okay, I don’t want my disabled daughter not getting care (which she has problems now with Tricare Prime) as per Zeke Emmanuel and Cass Sustein. She really isn’t a person in their minds and she really isn’t worthy I guess.
Arnie, you know sometimes you gotta give it up. The war was necessary whether you like it or not. I’m tired of that old mantra from liberals like yourself.
And as for Wall Street, they all voted for your hero.
Health Care isn’t broken, there are things that can be done better but scraping it for that nonsense is senseless. BTW it’s great your mom had a living will, but being told that you have to be visited by the government goons after a stroke doesn’t make one feel real secure. Well, at least you can rest assured that your mother got to make her choice, it wasn’t forced upon her. I’m sure if you saw doctor doom come into her room and tell her she had to sign you might feel differently but maybe not.
LD, there is no point. That’s all these obamabots can spout.

    • proreason says:

“Access to decent health care is a human right in every other civilized country.”

Then why do so many people come to the U.S. for treatment. Nobody in the U.S. goes to foreign countries. Ever.

“access to health care is a human right, nothing less”

Just plain stupid. What can you say. Stupid Stupid Stupid. No “right” can come at the expense of someone else. If it could, everyone would be declaring their rights to $100 steak, silk pajamas and Don Perignon.

“I believe that if you thought even one of the president’s ideas had merit you would trash it simply because it came from him or his administration”

I hate to repeat myself, but once again, stupid stupid stupid. The reason The Moron doesn’t get any praise on this site is because he is a calcified Marxist, who even now, in the face of overwhelming resistance to his scheme to socialize 20% of the U.S. economy, persists with his lock-step ideology.

Maybe there is something the boy wonder has done that I could agree with, but I can’t think of one. Even his choice of a dog is stuped. Those dogs have severe health problems because they are so inbred, and who would take the advice of Ted Kennedy anyway? Everything the putrid little egomaniac does, other than implementing his Marxist doctrine, is for self-aggrandizement. He’s worse than a Moron, he’s a rigid, self-serving Moron willing to go down in flames rather than adjust positions that 90% of the country vehemently opposes, now that people are finally catching on to the master liar.

    • catie says:

Pro, I’ll give him the swing set he got the girls. I wish I could afford one of those units myself.

And I guess old Arnie forgets anyone can go to the emergency room for care. Oh well.

    • David says:

You all need to start listening to Arnie here. Every one needs health care therefore it is a human right. Every one needs food so that too is a human right! I demand that Obama take over grocery stores immediately to stop the rising cost of food!
Question for you Arnie, if health care is a right deserved by all humans does that include humans at every level of development? If all humans have health care rights then killing fetuses would violate their right to health care.

  19. arnie.johnson says:

I still don’t understand the hatred. When W was president, I remember Rush saying to the Dems, “shut up! shut up! shut up! When you can win an election you can talk.”
Guess what? We won. I have a right to my opinion and you can insult me all day and all night and I still will not be silent.

    • catie says:

Neither will we. Insult, that’s what your crowd does constantly and all you can regurgitate is “the war, W is evil”. Well, at least our signs are homemade, not made for us by the SEIU & Acorn.

    • proreason says:

I don’t recall anybody saying they hate The Moron.

We think he is an idiot who is destroying the country.

      You “won” with 53%.

That is hardly a mandate to make wholesale changes to a country that has been a shining light for civilization for 230 years.

And listen carefully, arnie. Even if Ronald Reagen was attempting to make the sweeping, overwhelming changes to our society that this Moron is attempting with his radical friends and razor thin majority, then I and probably a lot of posters here would oppose it. The essence of conservatism is caution. Do what works. Do no harm. Leave the people in charge of their own fate. Protect the country. Protect the borders. Maintain the world’s most successful economic system. Maintain the health system that thousands of people flock to this country to take advantage of.

This exteme, radical marxist Moron does NOT have a right, and the FURTHEST thing from a mandate to make wholesale changes to this great country.

You think the Town Hallers are rowdy. You think they are radical. You ain’t seen nothing.

You won’t take our country and the wealth we have created over 230 years and build your brainless workers paradise. It won’t happen.

We know how to fight. And we aren’t your effete intellectuals, lazy ass inner city thugs, or panty-waist meterosexuals. You can’t imagine the shit we are going to rain on you if The Moron continues trying to shove his Communist Terrorist agenda down our throats.

  20. JohnMG says:

…..”Our health care system doesn’t work. Surely you can see that, right?…..”

Are you daft? Our healthcare system is the worst in the world except for everybody elses, you moron! That’s why Canadians who can afford to, flock to this country for treatment rather than wait in endless lines for the rationed product provided by their own government. Ditto for England and everywhere else. Under Obama’s plan, your mother wouldn’t rate any money even for the hospice care she’s receiving now. You really should read what he has in store for the elderly, rather than the talking points provided you by the DNC. They’re rather indiscriminate in their lying.

  21. JohnMG says:

    …..”I still don’t understand the hatred…..”

That’s a problem that seems endemic to liberals as a class. They just don’t understand. Pitiful! Read what I wrote. I said, I don’t hate him, I hate what he’s doing to the country. Can you make the distinction? If not, return from whence you came. Obviously wherever that is, it’s populated with like-minded folk.

  22. wirenut says:

Arnie, you can lead a horse to water but when he’s dead, quit beating him. Health care is not a right. Freedom and liberty are. Granted by our Creator and put to words by our founders. Read whats in this bill! Now I have to go and snitch on somebody.

  23. canary says:

Arnie, your free hospice has been around a long time.
Wait til the government refuses treatment and mandates quick deaths.

And there’s aleady free care for children and those without insurance. Why such a hurry. According to Gibbs Obama hasn’t even read the bill, and may not. Obama repeatedly attacked wounded soldiers government health care, trying to force them on private. Real easy to get it when you don’t have any legs. His recent delay of benefits and care to our wounded soldiers? Why the rush, when we can’t afford it. Why don’t you just go around and knock on doors and ask people for money for a doctor bill, because it’s your right.

Arnie, “Obama’s war” has a new ten year war plan for Afganistan? Rebuild, rehabilitation and health care to convert muslims to love America.

  24. wirenut says:

Proreason, after we get “snitched” on and turned in, I hope I end up in the same trench with you and most others here. Dead or alive, fighting fascism is real and it is at our doorstep. We can’t resolve problems when there’s no debate. Shouting down free speech by our own government is an outrage. Fly-over country has had enough. The silent majority now has a voice, but D.C. ain’t listening.

  25. sheehanjihad says:

[[[Pro, I’ll give him the swing set he got the girls.]]]

He didnt, WE did. I paid for that damn swing set, even though my kids could never have one.

Just contacted the betrayal.gov website. Turned Arnie in. He just sounds “fishy”. Nothing will happen to him. His name is on the “good boy” list.

  26. canary says:

Arni, we expect more out of a hate-mongering US president than telling the world he’s ashamed of America, to include hatefully making fun of Special Olympics children on a comedy show to the world. This isn’t China yet.

  27. 12 Gauge Rage says:

Why is it when we get a new poster on this site with an opposing view, that they’re filled with so much animosity? Arnie, while I voted for George W. twice, he did many things that I disagreed with that really p***ed me off.

Nobody would deny emergency health care to a really sick child Arnie. In most instances if the patients can’t afford it, the hospital merely writes off the expense. And there are other charitable organizations such as the Shriners who help out the sickly and never ask for much press. And believe it or not even bikers do good deeds. You know who they are don’t you Arnie? They’re the mean lookin’, tattooed, gruff, beer drinkin’ gun lovin’ guys and gals on their motorcycles who despite all appearances have a soft spot for the kids.

You can sound off on this site anytime you want to Arnie, we welcome opposing views whether you believe that or not. But remember, just because someone has a view opposite of yours doesn’t mean that their trying to silence you. It just means they’re a bit louder and more passionate about what they believe.

P.S. I’m not a kool aid drinker Arnie. While I do listen to Rush on occasion, I’m more inclined to listen to Dennis Prager or Michael Savage.
