I don’t see anything wrong with it. In fact, maybe he can elaborate on it by predicting which people may have an anti-government thought pop up in their minds. Then you immediately imprison them before the thought pops up in their minds, thereby saving much precious blood and treasure.

A follow-up on Eva’s fascist point.

Fascist states control business rather than owning owning businesses directly. This is closer to the direction The Moron has established than pure nationalization of industries (ala his hero Hugo Chavez, who is primarilly a Socialist).

This allows The Creature to claim out of the left side of his mouth that he is “pro-business” (since he isn’t driectly involved in the owership) while out of the right side he is dictating what business can do (salaries, bankruptcy terms, types of cars they can manufacture, credit card fee structures, onerous taxes and fees, etc. etc.)

As you can see, his actions, so far, have been fascist, not socialist.

The fascist regimes I’m familiar with have also freely used force….and we clearly see that in the threats against the Chrylser bond-holders and the destruction of Las Vegas and the whole travel industry. So far, he is using the press instead of the military, probably because he doesn’t have confidence that the military will comply with same fervor he can elicit from the tingly legs of the media.

Doesn’t anyone on the left ever listen to the words that come out of Obama’s mouth? I know no one in the Republican party or in our elite conservative media ever does, but you would think the left would listen because he’s talking to them.
Obama has never been against the war on terror, or preventive detention without trial. As with all liberals he just has problems with the way it’s being done. He’s just upset that it’s currently resulting in only foreign, black/brown people getting held for fighting in his mind a legitimate war against imperial U.S. He wants to turn it around and hold white Americans for racism, plots against abortion clinics, and white collar/political crimes. Also, unlike the current situation at Guantanamo, he would prefer if his program were kept secret by the MSM.
Which it will be.

(pr) Wednesday, President Obama told Civil Rights advocates that he is “mulling the need for a “preventive detention” system that would establish a legal basis for the United States to incarcerate terrorism suspects who are deemed a threat to national security”

In unrelated news, Comrade Napolitano stands by the recent DHS report that concludes that conservatives and veterans are “terrorism suspects”.
