I knew people on the Cole when it was attacked, and how distraught they were when their friends had died.

I saw the Cole enter the Norfolk Naval Base, its damage clear as day.

I saw the Cole under repairs, slowly starting to regain itself.

I saw the Cole leave the Naval Base Harbor afterwards, strong and ready to go.

...and now I read this HORSESHIT?!

FUCKING HELL!!

Bush ducked and grinned, and did not cry racism when the terrorist threw the shoe at him. Can Obama handle that when he adds insult to injury for the victims. What on earth could he say to confort Cole and 9/11 victims. allah Obama does not understand grief. He's never experienced it, nor able to express it, unless it pertains to himself, such as complaining about stayng in smoke-free hotels.

When I think of how long it took to get justice for my friend FC3 William Hansen and the other 36 sailors killed on the USS Stark this doesn't surprise me. Large portions of the Middle East should have been rendered uninhabitable for several thousand years on 9/12/2001. I hope I live to see the day that very thing happens.

Obama clone is moving too fast. No way he's had the time in the last two years, yet alone, last two weeks, to be doing such destruction at high speed. All the swear in parties, interviews,
and at the morning prayer breakfast, he said it was time to put an end to the "religious rhetoric of the last "8 years"!!!!!
Does Obama insult this country that Bush has been a or our preacher for 8 years?
OBAMA IS TAKING OUR FREEDOM OF RELIGION AWAY???
Who is he to tell us how religion is going to be changed in this country.
Hey Obama. We didn't spend over 20 years!!!! listening to a nutcase maniac racist preacher Wright who has torret's disease or is on crack, and say we couldn't disown our preacher anymore then we could disown our grandma.
Oh!! I finally get it. OBAMA doesn't think he's the messiah. OBAMA THINKS HE'S ALLAH!.
Obama is insane. The signs that this would happen, were as he described himself in his book. He felt poor because the seaside wasn't as good as a swimming pool. And his habitual lying about his relatives being King and Prince and all that were just signs that at an older age, his mind would split. His mind was not strong enough for the cocaine, add the recent stress he's been under, and his mind has collapsed. Can we trust the Surgeon General?
Hang on, it's only going to get worse. Obama needs an intervention. Or maybe they have been drinking alot. Does Air Force One serve drinks. We need Betty Ford to tell us how it's done, and try and help these people, who seem to be out of their minds!!!!!!!
At that party he even said, whether you drive a hybrid or a SUV were going to crash. Like there are only two cars to choose from. He said this delay would cost millions and millions. He is moving sooooo fast. I think a few days more without condoms and Kenyan abortions, wont' make too much a difference.
Obama even complained at this party retreat, how much he resented staying at hotels, because of the Republicans. Well, Republicans aren't complaining. What did Obama expect when he became President, if he's complaining this early in the game. Wasn't the ride on Air Force 1, a little treat for the poor inconvienced President. Hey Obama. There are soldiers with no toilet paper!!!!!!! And you want to complain about having to stay at hotels???? It would have been best for the country for Obama to stay home and be on welfare. That we could afford.

If you haven't stocked up on ammo, now might be a good time

The text comes from Michelle, the link from OpenCongress.com

http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h45/text
http://michellemalkin.com/2009/02/06/the-compromise-is-a-crock-of-you-know-what/

The following is a summary of the bill as provided by the Congressional Research Service. If you read the whole bill, you’ll find it will effectively preclude the ownership of any firearms by law-abiding people unless directly licensed by the Attorney General :

1/6/2009–Introduced. Blair Holt’s Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009 - Amends the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act to prohibit a person from possessing a firearm unless that person has been issued a firearm license under this Act or a state system certified under this Act and such license has not been invalidated or revoked. Prescribes license application, issuance, and renewal requirements.

Prohibits transferring or receiving a qualifying firearm unless the recipient presents a valid firearms license, the license is verified, and the dealer records a tracking authorization number. Prescribes firearms transfer reporting and record keeping requirements. Directs the Attorney General to establish and maintain a federal record of sale system.

Prohibits: (1) transferring a firearm to any person other than a licensee, unless the transfer is processed through a licensed dealer in accordance with national instant criminal background check system requirements, with exceptions; (2) licensed manufacturer or dealer from failing to comply with reporting and record keeping requirements of this Act;
(3) failing to report the loss or theft of the firearm to the Attorney General within 72 hours; (4) failing to report to the Attorney General an address change within 60 days; (5)
keeping a loaded firearm, or an unloaded firearm and ammunition for the firearm, knowingly or recklessly disregarding the risk that a child is capable of gaining access, if a child uses the firearm and causes death or serious bodily injury.

Prescribes criminal penalties for violations of firearms provisions covered by this Act. Directs the Attorney General to: (1) establish and maintain a firearm injury information clearinghouse; (2) conduct continuing studies and investigations of firearm-related deaths and injuries; and (3) collect and maintain current production and sales figures of each licensed manufacturer. Authorizes the Attorney General to certify state firearm licensing or record of sale systems.

he's a calculating bastard...or his handlers are...the DOW was up today, but not because of the stimulus vote. The WH released a rumor that certain mark-to-market rules would be suspended on Monday...that would free up a lot of capital held in reserve to avoid risk...first saw this at NRO, the link below is independent verification...they've planned this, the messiah and his minions---he is diabolical.

Poor choice of words, as I learned from SNL, Obama does like to keep it cool. It just begs the question to me, why not just go right ahead and set them all free immediately? They'd throw a ticker tape parade on fifth avenue for the man, and they'd probably have the terrorists twirling batons and holding down Obama head balloons!

With all due respect---I doubt the nitwit is "sweating"---I'm guessing he had a pretty good idea of the end-game...he is sympathetic to the terrorists.

Yes, the whole wretched idea for this delay is that the trials are postponed for 120 days so that the supposed smartest man in the room can look at all the relevant evidence and consider the law regarding the military commissions and decide the smartest way moving forward. Then he can come out with whatever he wants to, be it reconvening the commissions, moving them to civilian courts in Murtha's district, or just sending them all home pending completion of anger management classes.
I propose that he's being weak and spineless by asking for the 120 days on this issue. Most presidents come up with grand sweeping plans for what they want done in their first 100 days. They have a legislative agenda set to basically change the way the world spins on its axis that they want the congress to review, reflect on in committee, debate and pass and have on the president's desk within 100 days. Unless he's asking us to believe that he didn't know about Gitmo before he was sworn in, why would he even need 100 days to consider these prisoners' fates, much less 120? He has asked for the remaining $350 billion in TARP funds, and a $900 billion in additional spending to be on his desk and at his discretion within the first few days of being sworn in, yet a few hundred little terrorists on an island in the Carribean are such a confounding matter that he needs a full 4 months to gather his thoughts?
Of course he campaigned on shutting down Gitmo and ending the commissions immediately, but the delay leaves open the possibility of continuing the military trials under the selfsame law that Bush signed. Such an action would be an unforgiveable flip-flop.
If he didn't have a clue in the world on what to do with the Guantanamo detainees why did he campaign so strongly on shutting the prison down? Could it be blind liberal naivete, or just telling people whatever they want to hear so he could get elected? If he were honestly going to enact his campaign promise of shutting the prison down and sending these detainees into the U.S. criminal justice system, then he is free to do that as of about two weeks ago. Mr. Murtha has already volunteered his district.
The only possible reason for requesting this delay is that he hopes to be able to convince his liberal lackeys of the wisdom of keeping Gitmo open and the commissions under way during the intervening delay. But in that case, Mr. Obama is just simply wasting good valuable time by asking for the delay. As the judge Col. Pohl said, the trial is prescribed under the law, and ready to go. So either way you look at it, this is a gutless maneuver. He painted himself into a corner and now he's sweating out what his next move is going to be.
