Obama Fan Pleads Guilty To Arpaio Threats

From the news bureau of KTAR radio in Phoenix, Arizona:

Man pleads guilty to Arpaio death threats

by Clayton Klapper/KTAR
March 14th, 2012

Adam Eugene Cox, 33, pleaded guilty Tuesday to threatening to kill Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his family.

Cox was originally arrested on January 27 as the main suspect in an Arpaio death threat investigation that began on the Internet.

Cox’s threats read, in part: "I plan to kill Arpaio first. He will be filled with a thousand bullet holes before the year is out. I promise you this. He won’t f**k with Obama. He will be buried 10 feet under and his whole family will be murdered along with him."

Cox’s postings indicated that he is an avid President Obama supporter, and that Apraio’s investigation into the legitimacy of Obama’s birth certificate may be behind his threat to kill the sheriff. Cox’s mother confirmed with police that he is an avid President Obama supporter.

Deputies in Knoxville, Tennessee worked with Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies to serve a search warrant and seize a computer and other evidence from the home of Cox.

"Every threat will be taken seriously, and the sheriff knows that his position often attracts threats but he draws the line when his family is threatened," said Deputy Chief David Trombi, whose detectives have overseen the threat investigations against Arpaio.

Mind you, this happened in Arizona.

    Competitive Politics

To the extremists, it’s just like cheering for the home team. They can do no wrong, the other team is always wrong, the refs are cheating, cheer when your team breaks the rules to win, demonize the other team for doing the same thing.

If you follow the Constitution, there is no need to argue.

I guess nobody messes with the real Sherriff Joe.

Expect a phone call from the ‘Prez”, Joe. He’ll tell you how proud your parents must be of you and thank you for standing up for………….

      Huh? He won’t??!!

      Neeeeeeever mind.

  3. Right of the People says:

I’m willing to bet they found his computer in his mommy’s basement next to his posters of Sarah Michelle Geller.

Real justice would be letting him be put in Sheriff Joe’s jail in a hot pink jumpsuit.

He will be buried 10 feet under…

10 feet under, 57 states… this paragon of civility that Obama no doubt bought and paid for (with taxpayer dollars, of course) can’t even get basic numbers right.

Too bad the edit feature is no longer around. That sentence after the ellipses should have began: “Just like his master, this paragon of civility…”

Actor George Clooney arrested after sitting next to Michelle Obama at White House Party of Rich

George had too much to drink as usual.

George Clooney arrested in front of Sudan Embassy in WDC. We can imagine he whispered in Michelle Obama’s ear about the step he was going to take. Prior to the WH Party Clooney mentioned he was there for his own Sudan charity.

So, does this mean Clooney is under custody of Sudan or charged a federal crime on federal property.

sorry, boozy Looney Clooney just crossed a police line. This disgusting publicity of a $ rich man trying to get arrested is disgusting.
Clooney was a threat to National Security and Sudan relations and police officers. Shame on him.

      BBC News:

      Mar 16 2011

His father, Nick, was also detained but the pair have now been released.

George Clooney is a keen Sudan activist and has visited the area several times.
      $100 fine

Secret Service spokesman George Oglivie told the BBC: “George Clooney was arrested for crossing a police line at the Sudan embassy and he’ll be transported to the Metropolitan police department second district.”

Also arrested, said Mr Oglivie, were Martin Luther King III, son of the civil rights leader; Massachusetts Democratic Congressman Jim McGovern; Virginia Democratic Congressman Jim Moran; and National Association for the Advancement of Colored People President Ben Jealous.

George Clooney’s arrest comes a day after he met President Barack Obama at the White House to discuss the Sudan situation.

The actor recently secretly travelled across the border to the Nuba Mountains in Sudan, where his group apparently witnessed a rocket attack. A YouTube video of the visit was uploaded on Thursday.

He told the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee this week that what was happening in the region was “ominously similar” to the violence in Darfur.

Obama couldn’t possibly testify of all the letters he get’s from sick fans threatening to murder Sheriff Joe, or threats to murder Republicans to prove their devotion and win Obama’s affection. We just hear the kiddies.

  7. amber says:

I’m confused…. If Cox is 33, why do they have a photo of a much older man in a conservative suit wearing BCGs?

  8. amber says:

    Rusty,
yah, I know, but the article is about the 33 year old Cox confessing…why a photo of an older man, the man the media hates? I think it was intentional, most people do not know what the Sherrif looks like and will gloss over Cox’s age, people who do not care about the details will think the man in the photo is the one confessing.

    • Rusty Shackleford says:

It’s my understanding that Steve posts a photo of his own choosing. Remember, Steve posts articles here for the purpose of divulging the lies of the mainstream media. Though I can understand your frustration, I don’t think Steve did it to create confusion and, this was probably not the photo that was in the original news article.
