I would like to say something to diss The One ™ but sadly it isn’t so much Obambi – it is what liberals have done to all religious traditions. My sister died unexpectedly (or so I thought) this summer – many things kept me away from the ‘memorial’ – chief being it was a ‘memorial’ rather than a funeral. There weren’t even ashes to scatter somewhere (for that I’m a little miffed at the sister -in-law who did not even extend to me the invite to scatter my brother’s in 00). But mainly I did not feel it appropriate to go to a funeral/memorial being very, very angry at my mother who led us all to believe that her condition was no where near as serious as it was – I’d have gone to visit while she was still alive, if I knew she was terminal – as would have my other brother.

But as The One ™ did make an attempt to visit her in her last days (or was it to scrub his birth secret from the face of the earth?), he at least gave her more respect than he did his mother – but not enough for either of the two women who raised him up – to be there as they died.

Michelle just might want to think on that one a bit.
