Mr. Obama Gaffes Again: ‘My Muslim Faith’
In case you missed it, Mr. Obama made an interesting slip of the tongue on ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos:
“Let’s not play games, what I was suggesting you’re absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith”
Oddly enough, both versions are truth. Mr. McCain hasn’t talked about Mr. Obama’s Muslim faith, nor his black liberation based ersatz Christian faith.
Meanwhile, much is still being made of Obama’s remarks to Bill O’Reilly about the surge having succeeded “beyond anyone’s wildest dreams.”
But as we noted back on July 28, Mr. Obama has been saying this for some time.
From NBC’s Meet The Press, via YouTube:
The truly bizarre thing is that after all of these weeks Mr. Obama has still not figured out the significance of his own admission. — About the surge, that is.
(Thanks to NotSoYoungJim for the heads up.)

Funny how Steffy had to correct him on that point as he is so self-absorbed in his own bovine excrement that I really doubt he would have noticed he said that without someone slapping him.
OTOH, I’m surprised that ABC left it in there.
Oh well, gift horse, mouth. Lefties shrieking about being The Obama being misunderstammered will be quite fun to view.

The Truth will set you free. In Obama’s case, it will set him free of all the hassels of being POTUS.

This is why you dont let this guy go unscripted. Also for the first time since Iowa Caucuses the Democrats realize that they are going to lose this election. Obama’s voice and postures lately are those of sheer desperation. It’s so funny to see the “Rock Star” implode in the face of the TRUE Rock Star, Sarah Palin!! From the most boring to the most interesting Presdential Election in living memory!

Dumbo brought it up, he loves to tell the masses that the righty blogs are being mean to him by saying he’s a muzzie. Advice for Obami: “don’t go there.”
Meanwhile, Obama handlers are “deeply saddened.”

Dr. Freud, Obama bin-Biden is here for his two-o’clock…

And right on cue the right-wing schoolmarms come out making the lefties case for them.
The sententious Allahpundit informs the nasty scamps that “No, Obama didn’t “admit” to being a Muslim on ABC . . . so let’s cut this one off at the pass before it gets going.”
Yes, let us. The gaffe is being reported as being a gaffe, you testosterone-deprived pansy. Dumbo opens mouth inserts foot, gets some helpful coaching from a lefty pun-dolt and WE look bad by reporting what happened? Forget that these are the lefties who report every gaffe out of any pubs mouth relentlessly without any context (McCain wants a 100 year war in Iraq!). Whatever comes out of the opponent’s mouth HAS TO BE FAIR GAME. To argue differently is simply lying about the situation.
Now you can defend Dumbo and his loose tongue all you want. But only a self-hating eunuch like yourself would jump on the righty blogs for reporting this item.
Some old guy used to say “politics ain’t beanbag.” Yet some of our own are more concerned with their own credibility among the left (like they would EVER get any), that they insist upon researching Hoyle before any post.
Meh. AP–grow a pair.

Report hell, they make stuff up and report it as fact. Just look at what all Sarahacuda was accused of last week and nothing, absoultly nothing has been proven to be true.

Obama is so stressed, so inexperienced, so overwhelmed by what happened in the blink of an eye - that he committed, what in a sane world would be a fatal blunder - he let lose a freudian slip.
And in this case the one freudian slip - he never, ever should have let pass his lips. I told you all he was an empty suit.
In context of this slip - you should go read this article - How Obama Lost the Election
http://tinyurl.com/5fhrak
and the companion one (which is linked in the article - Obama’s women reveal his secret).
Both eye opening articles - much more so now that Obama is imploding - 10, 9, 8, . . . .

It may be that Barry H thinks that if he keeps talking as such, maybe we won’t figure out that he doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about from day to day:
“And… errr, um,” long pause, “Errr, as I’ve said repeatedly, err,” long pause, and hands outside personal space, “um, err..”
How anyone can sit around and listen to him is beyond me.
Wait, but wasn’t it Joey B that said he was “articulate and clean cut” or something on that order?

How can anyone consider this dumbell for President?
A child knows that we don’t have 57 States!!
I heard there are 57 Muslim states, but I wouldn’t know about that.
Obama, is well versed on on Muslinism.
How in the world did he ever make Senator??
Gaddafi says he is a Muslim and I believe it.
I still don’t believe Obama is a US citizen.

wardmama4,
Thanks for the articles!
Excellent read, both of them - although I don’t believe the author has it right regarding McCain (i.e. not as smart as Obama, but more shrewd…)

You obviously have not watched the entire video. Most of the sites on the Internet show a very small clip.
Here is more of the transcript:
“Let’s not play games,” Obama stated. “What I was suggesting – you’re absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you’re absolutely right that that has not come.”
After Stephanopoulos interrupted Obama, stating, “Christian faith”, Obama said:
“My Christian faith. Well, what I’m saying is that he (McCain) hasn’t suggested that I’m a Muslim. And I think that his campaign’s upper echelons have not, either. What I think is fair to say is that, coming out of the Republican camp, there have been efforts to suggest that perhaps I’m not who I say I am when it comes to my faith – something which I find deeply offensive, and that has been going on for a pretty long time.”
Take the context of the conversation… this was amid an exchange in which Obama accused Republicans of spreading lies that he is a Muslim. McCain, though, has strongly condemned such accusations. Here, Barack is acknowledging that John McCain himself is not the one bringing up his “muslim faith”. It is other Republicans that are trying to paint him as a Muslim.

Here’s the full interview. Anyone with a brain can see what he is really saying:

Hint: it was NOT a slip of the tongue.

Showing small parts of a clip and painting a picture that is exactly the OPPOSITE of the intended message is, in effect, lying. Lies bring all of us down.

Apparently Obama is not much of a religious person at all. He only joined Trinity after he got to Chicago was so he would be more believable to the folks he was trying to agitate as a “community organizer”.
