Obama: GOP Is Rooting For Obama-Care Failure

From The Hill:

Obama: GOP ‘rooting’ for ObamaCare failure

By Elise Viebeck | October 26, 2013

President Obama blasted GOP opponents of his healthcare law as hypocrites after Republicans expressed concerns about the rocky rollout of HealthCare.gov.

Huh? Mr. Obama or The Hill are confused about the term ‘hypocrites.’ The Republicans would be ‘hypocrites’ if they stopped opposing Obama-Care.

In his weekly address, Obama suggested that the GOP’s focus on the issue was in bad faith because Republicans have pushed for years to repeal, defund or dismantle ObamaCare.

So it is "bad faith" to be consistent?

Republicans "spent the last few years so obsessed with denying … people access to health insurance that they just shut down the government and threatened default over it," Obama said. "It’s well past the time for folks to stop rooting for [the law’s] failure." …

But most of them were elected to root for the law’s failure, and repeal. By the way, hasn’t Obama rooted for the failure of ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’? The ‘Defense Of Marriage Act’? All of our immigration laws? In fact, didn’t he do more than just root against them?

Obama pushed back on Saturday, citing the law’s more popular provisions and explaining the logic behind the insurance marketplaces. The website "gathers insurers under one system to compete for your business," Obama said. "And that choice and competition have actually helped bring prices down."

Apparently, he can’t stop lying. Almost everyone, even some of our ‘journalists,’ now admit that Obama-Care and its mandates have caused prices to sky-rocket.

Obama also described efforts to repair the enrollment process, urged frustrated users to try enrolling by telephone and vowed not to give up until the process is smooth…

Except you can’t enroll by telephone. Because, A) the lines are almost always busy. And B) even if you manage to get through, the ‘navigators’ on the other end need to access the website to get the information they need to help you.

From the Daily Caller:

Bad news: Obamacare ‘navigator’ program is dependent upon a functioning HealthCare.gov website

By Matt K. Lewis | October 27, 2013

HealthCare.gov has a new look. The ObamaCare girl is gone — replaced by a new image that stresses the “4 ways to get marketplace coverage.” The only problem? None of the options seem to work without the website.

Last Wednesday, we documented that the 1-800 number doesn’t work (CNN later confirmed this). Now, it appears the “navigators” (the face-to-face people who assist with enrollment) are equally impotent — without a functioning website…

This was confirmed by two different “navigators” in two different states to Dave Petno, an Ohio-based Employee Benefits Consultant and Certified Health Care Reform Professional who has been documenting the system’s challenges.

During a conversation with an Enroll Virginia navigator, Petno specifically asked: “If HealthCare.gov is not working, what would we do?” The navigator answered: “You can’t make plan selection without HealthCare.gov.”

During another phone conversation with a navigator who works at an Ohio food bank, Petno was told: “Our training was focused on using HealthCare.gov to do all of the things we were trained on.” …

So, once again, Mr. Obama is giving out bad information.

so if this was a only Republican”TAX” shoved down Americans throats, the Democrats would be screaming why the Congress is not investigating a
Mandate “that involves 1/6 of the Nations economy.

“folks to stop rooting for …”

heck, every play is a “turnover”.

this thing is a meltdown .

  2. Herr Obama … it’s not just ObamaCare we’re rooting for to fail ..

  3. I’m surprised that Oblameless cares what the GOP is rooting for. I’m surprised that he even knows what they’re rooting for or against. He’s never listened to anything else they’ve ever said. If it were working and they were rooting against it, he’d be standing on top of the capital building laughing at them. He’s just ticked off because the people rooting against it are being proven right more and more undeniably every day. (Of course when I say undeniably, I mean in terms of truth. Obama could deny that the earth is round and his followers would start burning globes to prove him right.)

one day he may say something even lowinfos can see through.

then there will be a light at the end of this tunnel.
(though that will probably just be a glint off john boner’s tears)

A democrat told me that Obama Care was shut down during the sequester.
