Perhaps someone can confirm this for me... it would be an interesting connection if it exists...

Remember the Saudi king that tried to donate a few million after 9/11, and had his contributions refused because of his anti-israel remarks?

Well, that is the same Saudi king that got BHO into Harvard with a letter of recommendation.

Could it be the same king that is helping Grandma Sarah?

I'm not even sure what any of it would mean if it was, but the question popped into my head and being the curious type, I thought'd ask.

I'm confused. In his book on his first trip to Kenya, Sarah is his aunt. She was bitter over the inheritance legal battle, going on over Obama Sr.'s estate. She claimed that she had been like a mother to Obama Sr. because their mother, Obama's grandmother Akuma, had ran away several times, then for good because Obama's grandfather Onynago, was so mean to her and all his other wifes, beating and raping them. Sarah felt she should get Obama Sr.'s inheritance, that everyone was fighting over.
The family even fought over giving
Obama Sr. "a muslim funeral"

In Kenya Obama met his step-mothers, to include Ruth, the mother of Obama's half-brother Mark, who just wrote the book, now liviing in China.

On this visit Obama quotes Ruth's rude remarks to Obama Jr. She told him, his father, Obama Sr. was crazy, and said nothing but bad things about him.

Obama's half-brother Mark visiting in Kenya at the same time, ready for his last year at 'Stanford' studying physics.
Obama invited half-brother Mark for lunch, and critical of Mark, painting him out to be materialistic, for not wanting to return to his roots and live in Kenya. Mark felt Africa was poor, and there was nothing there for him, and Obama tried to lay a guilt trip on him, even though, we know Obama, himself, did not follow his roots and end up in Africa. snif.. snif..

Obama was miffed at his half-brother over this, and wrote he would not keep in contact with him. Who knows if this changed as to the claims they met in China.
After the meeting he complained to his half-sister who he was staying with, about Mark's lack of desire to live in Africa, where his roots were. Shame on him.

"She looked away for a moment, then broke out with a short, bitter laugh.
   "What's so funny?"
"I was just thinking about how life is so strange. You know, as soon as the Old Man died, the lawyers contacted all those who might have a claim to the inheritance. Unlike my mum, Ruth has all the documents needed to prove who Mark's father was. So of all of the Old Man's kids,
Mark's claim is the only one that's uncontested.""

pg 345 Dreams from my Father by Barack Obama.

She spoke alot of the fued over the inheritance, Aunt or grandma Sarah was estranged and bitter over it, and the half-sisters said the lawyers were making all the money. Doesn't say what the inheritance was. But, she gave Obama some old letters Obama Sr. wrote to schools, and Obama held them in his hand, and sadly commented the letters were his inheritance. Wonder how it ended.

Funny you can be converted to Islam against your will and killed if you try to reconvert back to your original religion. Not so with Christianity. But one is the religion of peace and one is not. I've got a Kaaba in Mecca for you, if you guess the right answer. It also looks like the grandson in the white house is as big a liar as his grandmother. I wonder if someone in Mecca upon seeing Mrs. Obama and shouted out that she was an apostate from Islam based upon her 2008 article, would she be killed on the spot by the ROPers?

So, is she a muslim or a Christian?

From USA Today 3/08/2008
http://www.usatoday.com/
Obama's grandfather had converted to Islam from Roman Catholicism and taken the name Hussein, Sarah Obama said, but his children had inherited only the name, not the religion. Each person should be able to choose how they worshipped, she said. "In the world of today, children have different religions from their parents," she said. She, too, is a Christian.

From Christian Century June 2, 2009
http://www.bnet.com/
Seventh-day Adventist leaders say there was no attempt to convert President Obama's step-grandmother, a Muslim, during an evangelistic event this spring in Kenya.
Muslim groups complained when church leaders invited Sarah Obama, 87, to the April 18 close of a three-week crusade in Kisumu, Kenya. An Adventist pastor, Tom Obuya, later told Kenya's Daily Nation newspaper that <b>"Mama Sarah had assured us that she was converting, and we were ready to baptize her."</b> Sheikh Mohamed Khalifa, secretary of the Council of Imams and Preachers of Kenya, said Muslims would not "sit and watch one of their own being coerced" to convert to Christianity....
...a local church spokesperson said that <b>there was never any attempt to baptize or convert her, and that reports of her conversion were "an exaggeration of the press."</b> "The position of the leadership of ... the Seventh-day Adventist Church remains that Mama Sarah had only been invited to the meetings as a special guest ... and that there were no intentions to baptize her," spokesperson Kenneth Maena said in a statement. <b>"The church's stand is that baptism cannot be administered without the candidate's consent."</b>

By the way, aren’t there any laws about the President’s family members accepting gifts – especially from foreign governments.

Didn’t Billy Carter catch a lot of flack about some Libyan ‘favors.’

It's not the same thing this is THE WON™, we're talking about here. His imperial majesty is above such petty things like the laws of the land.
