Obama, Hillary Pander To Racists At La Raza
From the Washington Times:
Obama solicits La Raza backing

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Sen. Barack Obama told the nation’s largest Hispanic advocacy group yesterday that he earned their support for his presidential campaign by marching in last year’s May 1 immigrant rallies and challenged them to learn whether others met that standard.
“Find out how many senators appeared before an immigration rally last year. Who was talking the talk, and who walked the walk — because I walked,” Mr. Obama said at the National Council of La Raza’s annual convention in Miami Beach. “I didn’t run away from the issue, and I didn’t just talk about it in front of Latino audiences.” …
Both Mr. Obama and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, New York Democrat and the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination, supported the [recently defeated amnesty] bill and yesterday assured NCLR that they will work to pass a bill as president.
Mr. Obama was the most forceful, promising “in my first term we will make this a priority and get this done.” Mrs. Clinton said she couldn’t predict an outcome, but would “promise my best efforts.”
In remarks during a morning brunch, Mrs. Clinton said she has been trying “to understand where all of the venom and the incredible anxiety came from” in the immigration debate.
“I am very disappointed, and I was really quite offended by the tone of the debate and some of what was said by outside parties who were trying to influence the debate,” she said.
She blamed the tone on what she called a poor economy under President Bush…
Both Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama said a key to better opportunities for Hispanics is early-childhood education.
The two candidates also said they support passing bills such as the Dream Act, which would legalize illegal-alien students and give them a path to citizenship if they stay in school or serve in the military. It would also allow them in-state tuition rates at public colleges and universities.
Is there any doubt that amnesty will happen if Hillary and her running token mate Obama win?
[Hillary Clinton] blamed the tone on what she called a poor economy under President Bush.
And that the truth means nothing to these people?

Is there any group that the Democrats will not appear in front of, as long as they are anti American. There ought to be ICE agents at every La Raza meeting. Probably could find a few of these 12 or 20 or however many millions of Illegals have somehow managed to elude those charged with protection of Americans.

Call me stupid - but wouldn’t a ‘poor economy’ mean that more people/businesses/politicos would vote for a bill that would encourage/allow/entitle lower wages to more and more illegal and lower class immigrants?
This is what is wrong with America right now - these morons can talk out of both sides of their mouths and no one calls them on it. Nor votes them out of office.
Term Limits - it is the only way to end this pandering/caving to special interests/lobbyists/activist groups.

Just exactly how many millions have the Senator and her Horndog so called husband made off Bush’s POOR ECONOMY?

“Term Limits - it is the only way to end this pandering/caving to special interests/lobbyists/activist groups.”
I used to be against term limits, figuring that it would just give more power to the Congressional staffs and the rest of the entrenched bureaucracy.
But something has to be done.

A few states tried passing term limits. The Constitution says the states shall determine the manner of electing representatives and senators. And the SCOTUS threw it out. Gonna take a full constitutional amendment to fix this. How many congresscritters will vote to limit their time in office, with all the power, perks, prestige, etc. They would certainly exempt themselves, but it could limit their party’s ability to control things. And we know which party that might be.
Panderasses, one and all.

So 12,000,000,000 people from Mexico are here in order to participate in a poor economy? Hilliary should stick to pant suit recommendations.

Doesn’t he know hispanics support their own people? Or, he may convince them that their shared resentment of ‘whitey’ makes them allies.
He sure as hell is one desperate half-muslim, isn’t he?
Oh, by the way, did Hill affect a Spanish accent?

Y’all are surprised that the Traitor Party supports racists? Ever heard of the Klan? Was chock full of Democraps…and one of the Klan’s Grand Dragons or Imperial Wizards or Almighty Cyclopses or Grand Poobahs is the senior senator from West Virginia: Bobby Byrd.
These POSs are just being true to form: Pandering to the worst elements imagineable because the Dems are nothing but animated piles of rat feces.

Likely in Spanish, of course.

This is why I think the DEMS may lose big in 2008, Way too many people hate hilarty to vote for her if she is nominated, Obama is just too much of a rookie to even handle a full on campaign.
Every Republican will vote against Hillary and there are some swing Dems who do not like here either. The GOP is at an advantage of sorts, they have not picked a frountrunner, they can sit back let Hillary and Obama go at it, while they figure out who the best person to go after either of them.
