Obama Impersonator ‘Raps’ For Obama-Care

From Mediaite:

‘Obama’ Stars in Health Care Parody ‘Sign Up ‘Cause It’s Hot’

By Matt Wilstein | December 12, 2013

If only it really was President Barack Obama rapping like Snoop Dogg in this “Drop It Like It’s Hot” parody produced by the #GetCovered campaign. Instead, the video, which features the refrain “Sign up ’cause it’s hot,” stars famed Obama impersonator and YouTube star Iman “Alphacat” Crosson.

The trouble is, when most people manage to get far enough along the website to see the high premiums and deductibles, they drop the idea of signing up like a hot potato.

Crosson has appeared in numerous videos as Obama over the years, rapping about killing Osama bin Laden in 2011 and delivering a blistering version of “99 Problems (But Mitt Ain’t One)” during the 2012 campaign. This appears to be the first time he is working with an arm of the Obama Administration in an official capacity.

How do you figure?

So, sit back and enjoy the new song, which features some truly inspired lyrics like these:

“So don’t stand and diddle, my healthcare’s the ‘shizzle’ / It’s chock full of top notch healthcare ‘provizzles’ / We’ll cover all you’re ‘vizzles,’ your ‘dizzles,’ AND your ‘tizzles / Now while you figure that out, it’s back to that ‘chorizzle’”

By the way, how many low information voters will be fooled into thinking this really is Obama? In fact, how many of them think this next story is also about Obama?

Sexiest Man Alive Embraces Obamacare to Boost Enrollment

By Mike Dorning | December 11, 2013

The Sexiest Man Alive is being enlisted to spice up Obamacare. Pop singer Adam Levine, who won the designation from People magazine last month, is among the celebrities who’ll be promoting enrollment in online health insurance exchanges as part of a social media campaign kicking off tomorrow…

AKA Adam "Who?" Levine. By the way, where is the outrage at objectifying a human being this way?

Reprising a tactic President Barack Obama successfully employed in his 2012 re-election, organizers plan to use celebrity promotions and professionally produced videos aimed at inspiring Americans to encourage friends to enroll. The goal is generating 100 million Internet contacts before open enrollment closes March 31…

"100 million Internet contacts" and a five dollar bill will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.

The roster includes television star Fran Drescher of “The Nanny,” actor Kal Penn of the “Harold and Kumar” movie series and former Women’s National Basketball Association most valuable player Lisa Leslie, according to the campaign’s organizers…

Wow, Fran Drescher herself?!

Celebrities including pop singer Lady Gaga and rapper Pharrell Williams promoted healthcare.gov in the days after enrollment began only to pull back as the web site’s flaws surfaced.

Ms. Gaga has had enough flops without taking on another one.

In addition to the state exchanges and Enroll America, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the agency administering the federal website, is involved in the campaign.

Have we ever had an administration that spends so much money propagandizing its own citizens when the nation is not even fighting a world war?

Not one of these celebrity endorsers will be signing up for O-Care. “O-Care for thee, but not for me.”
