Obama Is Considering Taking In Syrian ‘Refugees’

From last week’s Los Angeles Times:

U.S. considers taking in Syrian refugees

A resettlement plan aims to help both the hard-hit Syrian families and the Middle Eastern countries that are straining to support 1.6 million refugees.

WASHINGTON — Two years into a civil war that shows no signs of ending, the Obama administration is considering resettling refugees who have fled Syria, part of an international effort that could bring thousands of Syrians to American cities and towns.

Yes, we definitely need to import more potential terrorists. Terrorists who will be called ‘home grown.’

But, on the other hand, if we were not importing terrorists into the country, there might not be any justification for the government spying on us here at home.

A resettlement plan under discussion in Washington and other capitals is aimed at relieving pressure on Middle Eastern countries straining to support 1.6 million refugees, as well as assisting hard-hit Syrian families.

It’s really a shame there aren’t any other countries in the world who could take them in. Like oil rich nations who have vast tracts of empty land. And who shared their faith and culture.

The State Department is "ready to consider the idea," an official from the department said, if the administration receives a formal request from the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees, which is the usual procedure.

Don’t worry. It will happen.

The United States usually accepts about half the refugees that the U.N. agency proposes for resettlement…

Because, after all, we are half of the world.

Susan Rice, President Obama’s new national security advisor, and Samantha Power, Obama’s nominee for U.S. ambassador to the U.N., both have been strong advocates for refugees. They may make the White House more receptive to at least a partial opening.

They are also the ‘War Hens’ who have pushed for our military involvement in Libya and now Syria.

Homeland security officials require careful vetting of refugees, with multiple interviews and background checks before they are allowed to enter the country. Under normal circumstances, the screening process can take a year or longer…

Yes, just look at how they ‘carefully vetted’ the Tsarnaev family. And look at the gratitude we got for giving them asylum.

By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes.

The original phrase is from Shakespeare’s “Macbeth”, Act IV Scene I spoken by one of the witches in reference to Macbeth himself, now established to be a murderer and traitor.

I use the phrase collectively to describe Obama and every living national socialist in our government who are now going full bore to the finish to destroy this nation.

There are no guardrails, no speed limits and all the drivers are drunk on power, trying to out-do each other on stupid.

McCain, Rubio, Boehner, Napolitano, Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, and all the rest.

None of them have turned out to be worth anything but the loose change in their pockets.

This behavior; This statism is sickening. This “tres vivant” method of bloviating loudmoths in power looks like a bad episode of Mission: Impossible from the 60’s. You know, where the bad guys are all yelling at one another to plot how to keep the people silent?

I mean, what the hell is happening? How is it that we have so many elected idiots who cannot seem to understand or acknowledge who they work for?

One thing is for certain. If I was a waiter at a DC restaurant, many of them would find their soup in their lap. When they complained, I would let them have a verbal, both-barrel summation of their ineptitude. But part of the problem is that they’re surrounded by yes-men, sycophants, lackeys and toadies hoping to crawl that political ladder so they subvert themselves and become pathetic, needy beings.

It’s the most disgusting part of humanity. I have witnessed it in the military and in corporate America. It now seems a myth that America was made great by rugged individualism. Nowadays to be successful you have to glom onto some “successful” jerk who needs constant validation about how great they are.

There are more of them than ever. The “education” system has seen to that.

Just as the Boston bombing terrorists they will hate sinful America and become radicalized. They will go through such culture shock they will go nuts. Plus, they won’t have their daily opium they get from Turkey.

I’ve heard these middle-easterners complain that our apples don’t taste as good as theirs and how happy they would be just to have a native apple. I guess camel and goat manure adds to the flavor.
