Obama Claims We Need A Global Regime

A little noted sentence from his campaign historic speech in Prague:

"North Korea broke the rules once again by testing a rocket that could be used for a long range missiles. This provocation underscores the need for action — not just this afternoon at the UN Security Council, but in our determination to prevent the spread of these weapons. Rules must be binding. Violations must be punished. Words must mean something. The world must stand together to prevent the spread of these weapons. Now is the time for a strong international response. And North Korea must know that the path to security and respect will never come through threats and illegal weapons. All nations must come together to build a stronger, global regime. That’s why we must stand shoulder to shoulder to pressure the North Koreans to change course.”

Probably it was a slip of the tongue. An off-teleprompter moment.

But isn’t this the gentleman who is always lecturing us (as he does once again here), that ‘words have meaning’?

Very pertinent news re. o-blah-blah’s appearance in Prague. I did post it over Steve’s article; but wanted to post it here as well because it speaks volumes about this grandiose punk and wanted as many as possible to see it (before it gets scrubbed).

o-blah-blah may have just had another (shall we say) ‘Freudian slip’!?!

“About a minute into this Prague dog and pony show, he mentions that now is the time to build a “global regime”. Serious! Watch and listen!

    What say you to that?!?!”

I say that you have to remove The Moron from the list of the worst President’s of all time.

Even Jimmah and Bill were just bad leaders, not people actively seeking to reverse the course of US history.

What we have with the Moron is someone right out front, proactively working to end our nation and everything it has stood for for 230 years. He is about 99% Lenin, and 1% Jimmy Carter.

And the press treats him not only as just another dynamic Democratic leader, but as a rock-star.

Somebody should do some research about how the German press treated Hitler in 1933-35. Want to bet they spoke about him as a glamorous continuation of politicians in the mold of Hindenberg, only much wiser. And all the while, he was planning to conquer Europe and to exterminate of the Jews……and many people knew it.

This guy never was as smart as his die hard followers believe. Four years of this kind of talk should make for some great campaign ads against him. All we need is a solid conservative with a good pair on him (or her) and by 2012, pro, it’ll be nuthin but Carter.

That whole “natural born citizen” clause is starting to look kind of important about now. Clinton was a Rhodes Scholar and all that but he was mostly getting stoned and picking up birds.

I think we have seen some pretty good examples of Saturday morning kids fare in the Islamic world on this site.

Regardless of his actual birth location (was there a star in the East?) he grew up around a bunch of America and liberty haters. When’s he going to start sporting an eye-patch or or shave his head and carry around a big Persian cat?

He already held up the US gov. for ONE TRILLION DOLLARS MWAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!

Everyday, he looks more and more like the antichrist! Not at all kidding here.

I think Obama has been a globalist all along. His allegiance is not necessarily to our country and “protect and defend the Constitution of the United States” are only words to him. His legal picks and international pronouncements are the tip of the iceberg. His first presidential phone call was to the Palestinian leadership. His first television interview after election was Al-Jazeera.

I only wish that more Americans had paid attention before electing him. This guy is worse than Clinton, more politically correct and errant than Carter.

    • catie says:

Beauty, I too wish more people would have looked at him but the ones I know who voted for him, I don’t think it would make a difference. Heck, even now they’re trying to back peddle saying how wonderful he is and that he’s “trying”. Trying to do what I ask to blank stares and quickly to a change of subject.
I did purchase a t-shirt that has his picture on it that says “Welcome Back, Carter”.

    • proreason says:

      “Welcome Back, Carter”

      lol, catie…..but I think the point is a mis-direction.

Jimmah, even with his galaxy of idiocies, loves this country and what we have stood for.

      Obama hates it,

      and wants to dismantle it.

Obama is flipping out. After monthes of lowering defense, he’s turned a 360. His words have no meaning. France was just trying to shut him up.

“By JENNIFER LOVEN, AP White House Correspondent Jennifer Loven, Ap White House Correspondent – 5 mins ago
PRAGUE – Declaring the future of mankind at stake, President Barack Obama on Sunday said all nations must strive to rid the world of nuclear arms and that the U.S. had a “moral responsibility” to lead because no other country has used one.
On the broader anti-nuclear issue, more than 140 nations have ratified the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty. But 44 states that possess nuclear technology need to both sign and ratify it before it can take effect and only 35 have do so. The United States is among the holdouts, along with China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, North Korea, and Pakistan.

We “must ignore the voices who tell us that the world cannot change. We have to insist, ‘Yes, we can.'”

((North Korea showed “Yes we can and we did”))

“But he said his own country, with its huge arsenal and its history using two atomic bombs against Japan in 1945, had to lead the world. He said the U.S. has a “moral responsibility” to start taking steps now.”

((I can’t believe he said that))

While espousing long-term goals, Obama took care to promise that America would not lower its defenses while others are pursuing a nuclear threat. He warned both North Korea, which has tested a nuclear weapon, and Iran, which the West says is developing one, that the world was against them.

In the interest of resetting ties with Moscow, Obama previously had appeared to soft-pedal his support for the Bush-era shield proposal. But he adopted a different tone in Prague.

“As long as the threat from Iran persists, we will go forward with a missile defense system that is cost-effective and proven,” Obama said, earning cheers from the crowd.
((?????with a 360 degree turn around, Obama’s words have no meaning))))

Hours before the address, an aide awoke Obama in his hotel room to tell him that North Korea had make good on its pledge to launch a long-range rocket. By lunchtime, the president had addressed it publicly nearly half a dozen times.
“Rules must be binding,” he said. “Violations must be punished. Words must mean something.”

“He offered few details of how he would accomplish his larger goal and acknowledged that “in a strange turn of history, the threat of global nuclear war has gone down, but the risk of a nuclear attack has gone up.””

((say what??? words must mean something??))

…..“Rules must be binding,” he said. “Violations must be punished. Words must mean something……..”

His words mean something. They mean he’s full of crap!

“His words mean something. They mean he’s full of crap!”

I think you just summed up every speech he has ever given!

  6. joeblough says:

B.O. can’t help but show his true colors once in a while.

And BTW, his color isn’t black.

His true colors are commie red and Arabian green.

    Orwell was an optimist.

  7. 12 Gauge Rage says:

Is the TCO speaking rhetorically or is he dead serious about advocating for a one world government? Say it ain’t so.

    • Liberals Demise says:

      Keyword here Rage……”REGIME”.

He’s no longer happy with being the Tzar of Amerika………He has set his sights on being “Master of the World”!!!!

His Hitler complex has a complex!!

  8. Trialdog says:

Obama is dead serious about one world government, or world socialism, or transnational progressivism; call it what you want. His comment about a world regime was not a slip of the tongue, or misstatement. He knew exactly what he was saying.
He made very similar comments during the campaign. He talked about “fundamentally” changing our system of government. While it would have been nice for the press to ask him in detail what he meant by that, they didn’t. Now he is president. He has just begun to fulfill his promise to “fundamentally” change the U.S. Just begun.
People today still cannot fathom the destruction he is bringing on. They are in denial. Just as reporters were, when they didn’t ask what he meant by “fundamental” change, because they could not, and still cannot, fathom that Obama is malevolent.
Obama is the type of leftist that is anti-capitalist to the core, in my opinion. Further, in my opinion, he is busy creating a tyrannical kleptocracy of “elites” to control not only the country, but the world. He has a great number of backers too. The global warming scam is a political fraud to create international tax and redistribution. He allows talk about a new international currency. He doesn’t speak about American Exceptionalism, he apologizes for America. He wants the U.S. to submit to the ICC. He wants the U.S. to sit on the U.N. Human Rights Commission as moral equals with Iran, Cuba, Syria, and Sudan. His domestic allies talk about setting and controlling wages for private companies. When it comes to accepting repayment of TARP funds or maintaining control over banks that accepted the funds, he chooses control. Obtaining loans in the future will be a political process, not a credit worthiness process. His administration will dictate how and what vehicles Chrysler and GM will build. And it is all just beginning. He is only one third done destroying our economy. He still has cap and trade for the final nail and tax rates for the hammer. Then, it’s on to health care; destroying it all to “give” it to a few (illegal immigrants).
Watch for him to seek more “international standards decency and progress” that our Constitution and bill of rights “must evolve” to incorporate. Guns. Speech. Ect.

    • preparing4theworst says:

I have said it before- our constitutional rights are not sacred to these people so much as they are bargaining chips on the political stage of the agenda driven liberal left. (see also my entry in the obama bows to king article). The more I see and hear the more these people just scare the living daylights out of me. As for the antichrist- very possible, but all the references I have read on the endtimes seem to leave out any mention of a power from the west (there are however mentions of the kings of the east…).Worrisome to say the least.
