Obama Not ‘Walking Away’ From Amnesty

From the open borders lobbyists at Reuters:

Obama: I’m not walking away from immigration reform

By Jeff Mason Jeff Mason Wed Sep 15, 2010

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Barack Obama assured Hispanics on Wednesday he was not walking away from immigration reform while expressing disappointment that he had not delivered on a 2008 promise to overhaul U.S. policy.

Obama, a Democrat who is ramping up his rhetoric against Republicans ahead of November 2 congressional elections, said only cooperation from both parties would allow reforms to advance.

He blamed Republicans for backing away from reform and urged Hispanics — an important and growing voting bloc — to continue giving him the support they gave during his presidential campaign

Yes, this is all part of the get out the ‘un-documented Democrat’ vote.

"Now, I know that many of you campaigned hard for me, and understandably you’re frustrated that we have not been able to move this over the finish line yet. I am too," he told a gala dinner for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, referring to immigration reform.

"But let me be clear: I will not walk away from this fight. My commitment is getting this done as soon as we can. We can’t keep kicking this challenge down the road."

Obama blamed Republicans for slow progress on the issue and, putting a spin on his "Yes we can" campaign slogan, said the opposition party had adopted a platform of "no se puede" which, translated from Spanish, means roughly "No we can’t."

"Is that a bumper sticker you want on your car?" he said.

As we have noted before, the Obama slogan “Yes We Can” is a direct lift of “Si Se Puede” from Cesar Chavez’s United Farm Workers union.

And, as we have noted before, Mr. Chavez and the UWF were at one time strongly opposed to both legal and illegal immigration because newly arrived and undocumented workers were taking jobs away from American citizens. (See below)

Obama said disappointed supporters should keep pressuring him and his party to advance reform, but he urged them to stick with Democrats…

"[D]on’t forget who is standing with you, and who is standing against you. Don’t ever believe that this election coming up doesn’t matter. … Don’t forget who your friends are."

He sure is subtle.

For the record, here is an excerpt from the aforementioned ‘Walls And Mirrors’ book, via Google Books:

Isn’t irony ironic?

I can’t tolerate this anymore. After every political rebuke and angry election-day smackdown he just continues to throw roadblocks in our way and pervert the process even more; none of this policy talk is even relevant except to fool the fools and distract the national discourse away from HIS FAILURE. Every battle for us is an exhaustive uphill climb to overcome the lies of the Democrat Media Complex just to have a chance for the truth to reach and impact the ears of ignoramus voters we must come to depend on to save the country. Usually before that’s even happened, they’ve changed the subject.

So for the millionth time, our border is in crisis:
    – Drug gangs control the regions just across from it.
    – Their tactics are merging with militant Islam. Prayer rugs are the fast growing item to find on the border.
    – We’ve given up on protecting public land, and the regime is suing Arizona for taking up that right despite its 70/30 support.
    – There’ve been over 200 reports of Mexican military crossing the border and aiding or protecting drug/immigrant smugglers.
    – Border agents, of which there are too little, are being targeted and killed.
    – Innocent people are being kidnapped and/or murdered by evil professionals and barbaric vagrants that get in here alike.

Someone here I believe brought up that some government security bureaus are finally realizing that the tactics of bringing Shariah Law to America poses an almost greater threat than even violent jihadism. Well what we have is a regime that is using the same Shariah tactics of subversion and deceit to also try and supplant Americanism with what it isn’t.

This is an intentionally negligent dictatorship that’s hostile to the American people because they’re in the middle of a hostile takeover of the country. It’s almost all I can think to write at this point. DocZero: No More Control.

I’ve been saying for a long time, if you view all Obalmy’s (and his handlers) actions from the view point that he is trying to totally dismantle and destroy America, it’s not at all surprising he is doing what he is.

With time now short we are watching him double down on every thing he has tried to foist on America in the past two years.

He is well aware that he is at the end of his little demolition derby of American values and ways, and that is when he becomes dangerous and throws everything he has at the goal.

And one thing we know for sure is they WILL be back for another round…and another and another.

Even if we are successful in November and again in 2012 we are only at the beginning of this war.

They will continue to work behind the scenes and undercover, weakening what they can weaken about America…and wooing all the little empty headed, jealous, drug fogged useful idiots and promising them things that will never be realized.

One day these fools will wake up and see what they actually have as a leader. It’s happened numerous times in Latin America and the middle east.

We voters must never “sleep” again in America.

Absolutely Jo, it is deafeningly obvious, but the root of my desperation currently is coming from the sense that despite this very fact we’re not only running up against such extraordinary numbers of ignorance and apathy but now a good chunk of our poopy-pants Washington “allies” obviously don’t agree with our assessment of the matter and are operating against our momentum too, shorting our stock so-to-say. This November I still believe we’re going to bust down a Leftist pillar of deceit and power, and the Conservative Country Class essentially will have done it alone.

To go with Pro’s analogies, onwards we will march into their lines of Professional Grass Roots soldiers and Aristocrats defending their social engineering castles. But the hope for a wholly peaceful and optimistic campaign to reverse what has been done here is fading in my heart. It’s Washington against the rest of us, and Washington has tens of millions of lives zombified to its entitlements, and tens of millions more dumbed down, disinterested and distracted.

“One day these fools will wake up and see what they actually have as a leader. It’s happened numerous times in Latin America and the middle east.

We voters must never ‘sleep’ again in America.”

At least 30% never will after this. And the evolution of the Tea Party will be a powerful mechanism in ensuring citizen-statesmen continue to have a fair shot at entering political channels. Certainly it’s enough this year to send a powerful message to Washington’s direction.. but do we actually have the assets, strength, and fortitude to achieve the necessary victory of political reform here with so many forces arrayed against us? I don’t even know if our side ultimately wants to put up with the continued ridiculous personal abuse we get for just wanting a chance to EXPLAIN why we need to reverse course. People in Texas and elsewhere may just decide they’ve had it. I know alot of people who’re almost there already.

He has no emotion about it. He is doing what he thinks he was born to do.

His mind was set decades ago. Like for Lenin, what the people want, or what others think is good for the people is irrelevant. He’s on a mission, and nothing is going to interefere with that mission while he is still breathing. He doesn’t accept the notion of the people deciding what is good for them. He may have to pay lip service to that idea to acquire the power he needs to acquire, but he doesn’t accept the will of the people as a valid concept. The people are idiots compares to what he knows, and what he was born to do.

So in his mind, massive national debt is simply the price HE has to pay to undo the injustice of slavery by changing the economic system. If millions of people suffer and lifestyles fall back by 100 years or more, he simply can’t be concerned about it. His mission is too important.

If he has to usurp the law and overrule the unfair immigration laws that have been carefully crafted for years, so be it. It’s what he has to do to undo the wrongs committed by whites against people of color. The rule law is far less important than that mission.

If he has to hasten the deaths of millions of senior citizens to take the country’s wealth that prior to him was spent to prolong their lives…and give that wealth to his people who have been deprived of medical care for so centuries….that is only fair. The killings are justified.

So what for us would be horrors beyond imagination, for Lenin and for Obama, are trivial concerns. They were put on earth to do these things. And it doesn’t matter if millions of people or hundreds of millions oppose him, suffer or die. People like them have an obligation to bear such burdens.

Obama is happy to do it.

And he’s not going to be affected by a little sniping from the rubes.

That’s a very interesting point, pro. I’ve been thinking about what you wrote.

If “HE” can take GM and Chrysler away from the bondholders, why can’t we take America away from its bondholders? Away from those investors who bought US Treasuries?

Since “HE” and his criminal robber gangs in Congress are the ones who created the massive debt, why do the rest of us have to be responsible for it?

Why don’t we disavow it? Why don’t we default on the US public debt? Or at least on the post-2008 portion of the debt? Say, pay back 25 cents on the dollar? We’re bankrupt, so we might as well admit it.

The debt was created by a criminal Ruling Class, and those investors who dealt with the criminals did so at their own risk. So why don’t we give China a haircut? China, the Saudis, Japan, and even American investors in US Treasuries will take the hit. If they don’t like it, they can collect the debt from the private fortunes of Nerobama and the criminal robber gangs who created it.

There may be harsh economic consequences from a default. The banking system would collapse. But we find ourselves in a place where there are no good solutions. The only alternatives are to inflate the currency and pay the creditors back in depreciated paper dollars, or generations of American serfdom, long years on a treadmill just working to pay the interest on the debt, pouring out America’s wealth year after year.

The sooner we get Americans out from under this massive debt-load, the better.

    • proreason says:

“they can collect the debt from the private fortunes of Nerobama and the criminal robber gangs who created it”

Very interesting thought. What would China do about it. Risk a nuclear war? We have that risk anyway.

Paying back 25% and confiscating the fortunes of the robber barons to do it would certainly put future Lenin’s and Obama’s on notice, wouldn’t it?

    • Rusty Shackleford says:

Just got my latest blurb from Patriot News and there’s a brief article that says members of the new congress will move to impeach the boy who sits in the president’s chair. As much as that opens up a lot of potential discussion, the evidence is clear to me and to pretty much any conservative that he is undertaking a systematic dismantling of the US system. His repeated ignoring of our own system of laws is right up at the top of the list.

One interesting dichotomy is that he may be acting with the sense that being black provides some immunity and yet it’s that very assumption that may get him nailed. But, also, should it come about, watch out for serious civil unrest by the hyphenated Americans no matter what.

Excuse me a moment…I need to make a bumper sticker….Except I ‘m going to make it in English and change it a tad to read…”No YOU can’t”

  3. Coco Q. Rico says:

Here’s my latino take on the article and the whole affair:

“No se puede” technically means “it can’t be done.” Or “one cannot.” It doesn’t imply “we.” But oh well, Obama doesn’t speak Spanish.

    • jobeth says:

Coco, I went to the link you cited and found an interesting, comment that the dems will likely use to lie to the Latinos. This one is interesting…

“”And they must never vote Republican…. or else.“”

“”Or else, according to the oversold yarn from Democrats eager to market themselves as the only pro-Latino option, the Republicans will do wicked things. They’ll build a wall, force you to carry an ID, and break into your home to gun down your family. Stuff like that. So goes the story from the Democrats.”

“…break into your home to gun down your family.”

Ummm, Wasn’t it a Dem…Billy Clinton and his hired gun Janet Reno that broke into the Hispanic home of little Elian Gonzalez and drug him out of a loving home to send back to Cuba?

What ever happened to law then? We have a special law pertaining to Cuban refugees and the dems won’t honor it. Can you imagine what the dems can do without the cumbersomeness of a silly law.

I just hope Hispanics have a bit more memory than most other dems.

      Wet feet, dry feet policy

After this event, there was a lot of manipulation by the US government of this issue. Not good ones for the Cuban refugees.

  4. jimreport says:

Nevermind we have a super-majority plus rino’s as needed. We control the legislative calendar, and most of the press. Republicans are to blame.
