So let’s assume for a moment that this is true, that more government controls and mandates on business can produce a more “moral” outcome for the economy, and for the broader society. If this is so, then one must also answer this question: who is the individual person that is so wise, so all-knowing, so just and so good, that they can make all the decisions necessary to produce this “more moral” economy?

This article is buried in today’s Townhall list, but it asks a profound question that has the potential to de-anesthesize even a committed loonie liberal.

If this Moron presumes himself capable to make the economic decisions for the entire economy, and he appears to think so…….HOW IS HE ANY DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER DICTATOR WHO HAS PRECEDED HIM?

Obamy fits the mold perfectly.

For contrast, remberber how Reagan, Eisenhauer and Dubya conducted themselves. Their only enemies were foreign powers bent on destroying civilization. It is unimaginable for them to ever denigrate Americans, and even their rhetoric toward the monstous enemies they defeated pales in comparison to the rhetoric The Moron uses against the citizens of his own country.

That says it all.

The foundations of our country are The Moron’s enemies.

An excerpt from last night’s broadcast:

“Discussing the roots of the economic crisis with Bill Moyers on this week’s JOURNAL, former regulator Bill Black said that much of the blame lies with lenders for issuing “liars’ loans,” in which borrowers’ claims about their financial situation were not verified.”

He also said that NOBODY bothered to warn anyone about the potential for crisis with all these bad loans.

Well huzzah! Nothing like having a “certified” expert to reinforce the liberal agenda. Plenty of people warned about it and unfortunately, even the complicit republicrats ignored the McCain letter.

I will say say that Black was about as “moderate” as one would expect a liberal to be.

I do commend him for condemning ALL of government’s actions and inactions although he never once stated flatly the steamroll effect of the likes of Frank and his cockroaches to force the government to ease up on lending restrictions.

Reading the liberal blogs, which truly hurt my head, I have learned that “it’s all Bush’s fault”.

My utter frustration is that no matter who is responsible, it’s academic now and what’s being done is not the American way of doing such things. Not one single entity has simply said, “OK, home-mortgage payers, here’s a chance for you to be responsible and show us that you want to keep your home. We’ll take whatever you can afford, tack the arrears to the end of the payments and go from there. You can, if you are able later, to return to your original payment plan, etc etc.”

Foreclosing on a home takes a long time. As one who’s faced it, and gotten back in the black, it can be salvaged and not at great expense, either. Banks are often very willing to work with the homeowner and there is also a little thing called personal bankruptcy that will often allow the homeowner to reaffirm the house and continue to pay on it.

There are options.

Granted, some find themselves in dire straits and that is unfortunate but I submit for the record that failure, and the ability to recover from it, is every bit as much a part of the American dream as success. It’s not part of the American dream to have other people pay for your problems.

High crimes and misdemeanors. Impeach Obama!
