Obama Posts ‘Long Form’ Birth Certificate

From the White House:

President Obama’s Long Form Birth Certificate

Posted by Dan Pfeiffer on April 27, 2011

In 2008, in response to media inquiries, the President’s campaign requested his birth certificate from the state of Hawaii. The state sent the campaign the President’s birth certificate, the same legal documentation provided to all Hawaiians as proof of birth in state, and the campaign immediately posted it on the internet. That birth certificate can be seen here (PDF).

When any citizen born in Hawaii requests their birth certificate, they receive exactly what the President received. In fact, the document posted on the campaign website is what Hawaiians use to get a driver’s license from the state and the document recognized by the Federal Government and the courts for all legal purposes. That’s because it is the birth certificate. This is not and should not be an open question.

The President believed the distraction over his birth certificate wasn’t good for the country. It may have been good politics and good TV, but it was bad for the American people and distracting from the many challenges we face as a country. Therefore, the President directed his counsel to review the legal authority for seeking access to the long form certificate and to request on that basis that the Hawaii State Department of Health make an exception to release a copy of his long form birth certificate. They granted that exception in part because of the tremendous volume of requests they had been getting. President Barack Obama’s long form birth certificate can be seen here (PDF)Correspondence with the Hawaii State Department of Health can be seen here (PDF).

At a time of great consequence for this country – when we should be debating how we win the future, reduce our deficit, deal with high gas prices, and bring stability to the Middle East, Washington, DC, was once again distracted by a fake issue.  The President’s hope is that with this step, we can move on to debating the bigger issues that matter to the American people and the future of the country.

Mr. Obama is going to speak to the press about this at 9:45 this morning.

This whole story is a metaphor. He ACTS like an alien, totally out-of-touch with our values and our history. Dorothy Rabinowitz of the Wall Street Journal called him The Alien in the White House over a year ago, and she’s absolutely right.

He’s not like any American I ever met, and his mind is with the U.N. General Assembly. Doesn’t matter if he was technically born here. Alexander Hamilton was born in the Bahamas, and Tom Paine in Ireland.

  3. Mithrandir says:

Originally the birth certificate was an issue. After a while, I didn’t care if he was born in the U.S. or not.
The issue turned out to be Obama as: petulant, embarassing, non-transparent, slimy, a liar and a hypocrite. Which is still true.

Now the question is, why spend millions of dollars in lawyer fees, wait 3 years, to hide something that was legit all along? Seems strange doesn’t it?

    • beautyofreason says:

Actually I think it is political strategy. It’s a bait and switch. Obama has no interest in what’s healthy for the country or he would have released all of his personal documents from the start, including college transcripts. That’s what “transparency” means.

This timed release is a push for the Democrats. Obama waited years to release this document, after a significant percentage of conservatives including a possible contender, Donald Trump, made an issue of the birth certificate. The more Republicans talk about it, even if they have legitimate concerns about the transparency of documents in this administration (and trust me they do), the more Obama will get political points by releasing the birth certificate in a sort of “oh, told you so, look at how dim and extreme they are” sort of grand reveal. All along he has been sequestering his documents, not necessarily to hide any serious revelations (that’s still a possibility) but to create speculation and hearsay among his opponents, whom he can then marginalize at a politically advantageous time. He’s a slimy politician.

We have far better platforms to focus on. If Republicans focus on the economy, unemployment, forced health insurance, cost of gas, Obama’s anti-Americanism, weakness, the wasted money in Libya, the constant kowtowing to radical Islam (I’m talking about Egypt and elsewhere), I am pretty certain we can win the election in 2012. We have more than enough reasons why our candidates our better. Pick a topic – our policies are superior. We need a candidate who is a good speaker and who will not play into the traps that the Democrats set. Of course it is an uphill battle because the mainstream media corners and tears down every Republican candidate who considers running (Palin, Trump) and this in turn is making them unelectable in public opinion polls.

The issue is not whether Obama was born in the U.S. or not. If we had an American citizen who was not born in the country running for president, like Arnold Schwarzenegger, it would be unconstitutional but not necessarily devastating to the country. With Obama it is worse; his economic and foreign policies are tearing down the country from within. He also is one of the most partisan Presidents that I have ever come across. IMO that’s why Americans have doubt about his birth place, and the President used obfuscation to play our doubts to his advantage.

After Obama’s 20 year dalliance at Jeremiah Wright’s racist church there is pretty much no reason why he should have been electable, save for the fact that we had a weaker candidate (McCain) in the last election. We need a strong candidate who can verbally go toe to toe with this guy, with a sense of gravitas, someone who can avoid being made a caricature in the mainstream media. I think Romney can do it, but we will have to wait and see who emerges from the running.

  4. Rusty Shackleford says:

    Thank you Mr President.

My next question: Why college in Indonesia and how did you manage to attend there?

Would you show us your college transcripts, please?

And….one last thing. You were born here, were given great opportunities and yet, you hate this country. Why?

Thank you. I’ll eagerly await your answers. As to the last question; That was rhetorical. I know why you hate this country; You have said it all in your books and your speech when not-scripted. It’s a shame that you feel this overriding need to punish an entire nation. A nation that graciously elected you to the highest office in the free world. And this is what you’ve done with it.

    *tch, tch, tch.

    Bloody shame.

    • platypus says:

That is what most people wish they could say but they expressed it in a different manner. Kudos to you for such a succinct yet complete statement.

If I could offer one suggestion, it would be that you not let him off the hook by making any of the queries rhetorical. I think we are entitled to hear how he would answer all of your questions. They are germane and are of the utmost cultural significance.

My view – he would tell you why it is someone else’s fault that he is less than whatever he should be. After all, he is a just a victim of oppressive America and the presidency is just his personal reparations for the slavery his ancestors never had to be freed from. He reminds me of a wannabe who never does quite fit in or actually belong to the “in” crowd.

In this case, Anerica is the in crowd and he doesn’t think America elected him on his worthiness – he thinks America elected him because it pitied him.

He fears he might actually be as inferior as he feels he is.

      Palin/West 2012. Powder is dry.

  5. GetBackJack says:

Bullshiat. It;s ‘shopped. Sure as God made green apples, a clandestine documents team created a document that cannot be argued with because neither you nor I will ever be able to examine it, and no expert witness Document Verification Professional would go near the damn thing. Not unless they want a lifetime of IRS Audits and a single car rollover accident at night on a straight road.

I’ll wait for Corsi’s book. CONTEXT matters when North Korea can print US Dollars so expertly that the Secret Service has the devil of a time telling the fakes from the originals.

This issue matters more now than ever.

    • JohnMG says:

Obama himself is a fraud. Thus, every document he produces is fradulent, and calculated to deceive. I believe Trump forced this issue and the release of what I agree is a bogus document–and the little press spiel that goes with it is a smoke screen.

Just another episode in the continuing saga of Barack-y the Lying Squirrel. He should be laughed out of town.

    • I wonder how many dead bodies there are holding this up?

    • Mithrandir says:

The birther thing, and the 911 conspiracies are CAUSED by mistrust. And who is to blame for that mistrust? The entities themselves! –The people who have been abused, over-taxed, lied to repeatedly, screwed around with, are the “crazy” people who have a legit reason to be suspicious.

If Obama and the Government were trustworthy, honest, open people…..THEN you can say the mistrusting populace is a paranoid fringe. It’s just laughable, “Mistrust the government? –Why you must be a mad-man!”

  6. artboyusa says:

Well, its about time. That settles that and I hope all those mythmongers out there in the dark corners of the worldwide interweb will accept this beautifully crafted forgery – sorry, original document, and finally fall silent. Or else. Barack Obama is as American as you or me or Pablo over there…

  7. proreason says:

    Good. Double good.

Now it isn’t hanging like a sword of Damocles over the campaign.

Of course, it won’t completely stop the citizenship frenzy because some believe having a Kenyan father is just as significant, but that group is much smaller, so this issue has essentially been put to rest.

What will be interesting now is how hard people are going to push for the school records and other documents.

I think they have released the certificate on the theory that they can now shut down all other inquiries into his background. You know that will be the Make Believe Press’ position. Watch Trump’s position in the next few days to see how that goes.

Trump is taking credit for getting the certificate shown, as well he should. I don’t know if he has said it yet, but he will probably point out soon that it took a man like himself to get this done, after the professional politicians sat on an issue for three years that millions of people were rightly concerned about.

The other topic for the next few days will be “Why did it take so long”. Don’t look for the Moron to shed any light on that this morning.

    • tranquil.night says:

Yes, Trump rightfully is taking credit, although pre-empting and looking to deflate the popularity of Corsi’s book is probably also part of it. I hope you’re right that this will at least relegate the issue back to political irrelevancy for the campaign.

Sure, the MBM will continue to treat any further inquiries into the rest of erhm, Mr. Soetoro’s past as a bigoted wild goose chase, but what else is new. As I said in the other thread, this is about honoring that Doctrine of Fairness that Liberals love so much with inquiries that are still mild in comparison to what a Republican and especially Conservative named Sarah Palin faces.

    • heykev says:

Now if the Donald would just issue a “challenge” to college students that he will pick up the tab for their education to the one who can provide BHO’s college transcripts. We would have them by May 1st.

Still wondering why no one in the MSM has not found a way to get those trahscripts – rhetorical question…

    • proreason says:

yes tn, you have a point about the Corsi book. That also is probably a part of it…which makes me think corsi has something.

But even if he doesn’t, this will cust his sales a lot, and everybody who buys the book is a certain anti-Obama vote, even though most would be against him anyway.

    • tranquil.night says:

Right. As Rush and others have noted, the polls were reflecting the mainstreaming of the issue. If the birther-curious had turned to Corsi and been treated to raw meat, or even just a full documentation of his hyper-radical past – what we know of it – the WH stood to lose another level of control they have over his concocted image. It was definitely becoming a liability that Trump busted this out of the fringes.

    • proreason says:

One other thing, this is also overwhelming the story about the new radical racist preacher he chose to attend Easter Services with.

But somehow, I don’t think Hannity is going to forget about it.

    • Mithrandir says:

Trump is so far SMARTER THAN ANY REPUBLICAN IN 15 YEARS. –He hammers the issue, doesn’t get shouted down, doesn’t back down by made-up poll numbers etc. Goes “RIGHT UP THE GUT”–nothing fancy, no flea-flickers, no play action fakes, no wide-out reverses, POUNND THE BALL RIGHT STRAIGHT AT ‘EM! –Pittsburg Steeler style!

He can continue to hammer him, “Why did you wait 3 years, and use this as a political tool?” The argument can stil be made. Obama is:

      Where are the college records?
Why did you spend 20 years in a racist church?
Why did Aunt Zeituni defraud the gov’t for 8 years, and NOT get deported?
Why did you hang around Bill Ayers and other terrorists? Why did your wife?
Why do you and your wife associate with Louis Farrakhan?
Why has your wife’s lawyer license been revoked according to the Illinois registry? What did she do?
Why didn’t you help the WHITE flood victims a year or 2 ago?
Why did you give BILLIONS to black farmers who had no claim for discrimination?
Why are you preventing oil exploration in the worst economy in 60 years?
Why did you start a war, and prosecute 2 wars you ran against?
Why did you pay off and RAM THROUGH Obamacare, then give 100s of waivers to your buddies?
Why did you screw the GM bond holders and give payoff to your union buddies?

PLENTY OF THINGS TO HAMMER THIS GUY ON!–Only, never underestimate the Republican’s ability to fold like a deck of cards during a hurricane in all this.

  8. seandougsnyder says:

It is what most people have been asking for, so I guess Kudos for that Mr. Prez. Still suspicious that it took a US Senator and then President so long to get something so simple from his “home” state, so I’m reserving judgment for the Corsi book as well. I’m more interested in how he went from acedemic zero to editor of harvard law review so quickly. Awfully convienient that he shot to the head of the class right when he visited Pakistan. The question really shouldn’t be if Barrack was born in the USA which apparently he was, but rather what happened to Barrack in 1981 and who is the man in the Whitehouse using his name?

  9. BillK says:

Now let’s dismiss other fake issues, like Global Warming.

  10. oiftanker says:

So it only took three years and $2.5 million dollars for the American people to finally see a document that is an absolute requirement to even register to vote, and we’re supposed to be happy about this? What about his college transcripts? Articles for Harvard Law Review? I mean, if your the editor, you must have written some articles, right? And exactly how did you afford all this Ivy League education anyway? And while we’re at it, let’s find out where all those campaign donations came from before you get anymore for THIS campaign!!

    • Mithrandir says:

If Trump is smart, he will continue to ask, and not be deterred by Chris Matthews’s shrill monologues.

SEND THE SHROUD OF TURIN research team to Hawaii, and if they come back with a clean bill of health on the birth certificate, then I will be satisfied.

  12. U NO HOO says:

Barack, was that so difficult to do?

  13. GetBackJack says:

It’s better to release a long form Birth Certificate than the details of how Jack Ryan got whacked out of his senate seta, the details of the Rezko snake pit and the factual account of Obama’s trip to Pakistan. Not to mention the long standing assertion that Obama is a tool of the Saudis who PAID for his education by donating millions to Harvard in exchange for entrance and virtually no study requirements. The there are the details of his Muslim religion which we certainly don’t want revealed, and the true facts of his long standing use by the Chicago Supermob.

If I were them, I’d ‘shop a LFBC, too. God knows they can’t stand have any other details leaked.

    • tranquil.night says:

I think these theories carry more weight, personally. It seems to me like the gang oriented their political defense around the one issue – the birth certificate – in which they could secure the narrative of making any inquiries into his entire past look nutty, partisan, and racially motivated. Where he was born is really one small piece to the puzzle of this enigma.

Bill Whittle’s doing a new series “Firewall” (love that name!) where he’s presenting a very solid factual analysis into all of this history which is “open information” but got nixed out of the mainstream conversation in 2008. Here’s episode 1: http://www.declarationentertainment.com/firewall-enigma-part-1-strange-bedfellows

  14. tranquil.night says:

I tell you what. Listening to these clips of the Won’s presser – he tried to play this in his typical-of-late Cool Hand Bam style with the Stay Classy smile and above-the-frayisms; but Rush is right, pair him with Trump and it’s clear whose on Defense.

Loving Insty’s coverage of the release theatre too. Grab the popcorn.

    • Rusty Shackleford says:

I have a question. Why didn’t chairman Obie invite Trump to come sit in the front row and then excoriate him for an hour? Indeed, he responded more directly to the BC issue than he does to any other “issue”. Forgive me, Steve, but I still have my doubts though I’ll keep it to myself. It’s simply that he has lied about every single thing in his life and the lives of others and history, the world and well….everything. So why should I believe him with this? I wouldn’t believe him if he told me I was on fire and I smelled smoke. I wouldn’t believe him if he told me it was raining and I was getting soaked. He is a liar. A well-practiced, dyed-in-the-wool liar.

  15. BillK says:

The most important question to ask is what Glenn Beck always asks, namely What is Obama trying to distract us from by doing this today? Is it Syria? Is it the lizard possibly derailing Texas oil production? Something we’re not even aware of yet?

    • tranquil.night says:

See The Petronius Report for April for a briefing of possibilities.

There’s also the Bernanke Presser and the announcement of the planned end of QE2 (with no announcement yet on QE3, which means hiking rates). The failure of QE2, etc. would’ve dominated headlines on a slower news cycle.

Edit: ooh, as Rush just pointed out too, there’s the Petraeus/Panetta swap which is better for intelligence but BAD for the Military.

  16. proreason says:

Rush is beside himself over this. It’s pretty obvious he likes the Donald a lot…particularly that he grabbed the spotlight even though one would think the light would shine on the Messiah for his unique transparancy.

Last night, it was also clear that Hannity had moved from neutral to positive about the Donald.

Rush in particular is taking great delight in all of the dinasaur rino commentators whose audiences are probably now in free fall. Basically, CK, Wehner, Rove, Lowry, Will, et al are now playing the DC “moderate liberal” role that used to be played by people who actually admitted they were democrats.

  17. Kaffeesatz says:

Well, that was not so hard, was it?

So now, Mr. President, explain why you let an Army Colonel go to jail rather than produce that document. When this Colonel refused to deploy until you proved your place of birth, you declined, and let him rot in jail.

    Nice, really nice.

    • Mithrandir says:

Exactly. He could have saved everyone A LOT OF TROUBLE and headache, but just doing the right thing immediately.

It shows that he is a emotionless baby! It makes you wonder how a “leader” can be trusted, when he can’t make the right decision is the most basic of decisions. What is wrong with that guy? Yikes! No wonder every decision he makes is crazy or flat out wrong.

  18. Natural Born Citizen says:

IMO the person who’s name shall not be mentioned, over the document whose form shall not be mentioned has still not proven he has passed all Constitutional requirements for POTUS. It is up to SCOTUS to define a parameter of requirements for POTUS which shall not be mentioned. Now how about the Connecticut SS#? Or the fraudulent Selective Services form? Or why a Harvard Law school magna cum-laude graduate who was editor of the law review cannot practice law in his state of residence?

  19. Anonymoose says:

I think I side with beautyofreason. What’s gotten me about Obama is not the questions about him, but that there are so many of them. The perfect Manchurian Candidate would have seemed too ideal; a Colin Powell back how people used to look at him.

Instead it’s more like “Hey, he looks and sounds good and is appropriately multicultural and international so people will feel too guilty to question him. Just in case, hide everything, they’ll never know what to look for.”

Obama has suspicions at every turn, but barring some hard evidence he was born in Kenya my feeling was that either his birth certificate had something in it embarrassing to him politically or it was all a game to distract people and make his enemies look like loonies.

So now it’s out, things still don’t seem right, but all across the land Leftist liberals are screaming themselves hoarse in a chorus of “Told You So!” We were crazy to wonder about Obama…..and meanwhile I think of 2004 when the Democrats pulled their election surprise of the forged National Guard Memos about Bush.

This was mainly done to play down The Donald and give himself some cred. I’m sure we’ll have some other secrets come out in carefully done revelations, most likely next his college transcripts; again to show us all as fools for questioning the great Democrat. But the big issues; his associations with Ayers and who paid for his Harvard education, will stay hidden.

  20. Mithrandir says:

A Harvard graduate, OUGHT TO BE SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW….that only a forensics team of REPUBLICANS is the only sure-fire way to put this to rest. But a commoner, no-nothing like me,thought of it first I guess….

No one trusts the gov’t (whose fault is that?), so therefore, no one will believe a known liar.

GUESS WHO WON’T LET THIS ISSUE DIE? The Liberal Media. Here is how they will pound this to death:

“Despite releasing his long form birth certificate, birthers (who are crazy) just won’t let it go (even though we are the one’s constantly reporting on this). They still don’t believe it’s real (because they are crazy just like we have been trying to convince you they are, and they are Tea Party members!). I guess poor old Barack Obama just can’t convince the crazy people.” (who just won’t let it go despite not owning 1 radio or news outlet).
You watch! See how many more times the liberal media keeps reporting about this, even though they keep claiming it’s a non-issue.

    • tranquil.night says:

Yeah, but I think the main trap was sprung, and on a “joke/clown” candidate nonetheless. That’s not unimportant; the Republican candidates are in a much stronger position to deflect this issue thanks to Trump. If the high polling for Birtherism persists, then you’re right in how it just speaks to the Moron’s credibility problem and American’s deep resentment to the effects of his policies, and a skilled politician could easily frame the narrative that way. But I disagree that it’s necessary for a major political figure to push the personal issues anymore, unless if it’s in the context of how poorly the media covered them obviously to protect their champion. The birthers need to understand that the path to victory over Obama that our leaders need to focus on is by holding him accountable for his governing record, which consists of more than enough cronyism and lies to fill a campaign.

That being said, this wasn’t a distraction at all. A distraction from what? A Republican Congress that can’t get its messaging straight on what it wants out of raising the debt ceiling? All those ‘serious’ exploratory candidates out there? Oh – educating the American people about the perils of Obamaism? Yeah, he’s destroying the country, we’re sick of hearing about it, watching it, reading about it. Whose gonna do something about it? Whose gonna really go toe-to-toe and challenge this guy and try and convert people normally out of the reach of our voices? Sarah, Herman, and Michele are, but the MBM has them on blackout for making too much sense. They want no part of Paul Ryan. Oh – look at this tool Trump, he’s handing us this nutty birther issue on a platter. Wall-to-wall coverage! Oh wait –

We are facing a multi-headed Hydra in this Leviathan state complex. The media is one of those heads and Trump has effectively demostrated how to fight it. Again, this isn’t unimportant – our candidates need to know how to handle themselves in enemy territory. It simply just comes down to turning their absurd premises and political games back around on them.

We don’t play the games. They do. When we finally realize that we’re all just tools in their game, then we beat them on their own rigged field and change the rules back to what’s truly equitable. Get your metaphors straight.

I’m talking to all those purists out there in that last bit, not you Mith. :)

  21. TerryAnne says:

Call me a birther, but I don’t believe this form. Too many problems, not least of which is the African listing under race of father and the whole bitmap layer thing. But, tn makes a point: I’m more apt to believe my reluctance to believe this stems from the fact I do not believe a single word out of his mouth; he has absolutely no credibility with me.

The timing is too perfect, but I can’t figure out what for. It also shows his complete antipathy towards us: he wouldn’t do a darn thing except stick his nose in the air anytime a citizen asked for it…but a wealthy businessman starts making a ruckus, his poll numbers start falling, and then he puts something out. After all the “we can’t get it”, “it can’t be released to the public”, “it doesn’t exist” cries…it’s hard to believe that this would suddenly appear out of the blue. Especially when no one said that he was pursuing this in the first place and then the release report says he’s been working this for two years?!?!

I really liked the “we have better things to worry about” touch. Especially as he boarded AF1 to go tape the Oprah show. That’ll show ’em, Zero!

I hope Trump gets wind of all of the frauds people found in less than 12 hours and takes them to the media. I really don’t care at this point where he was born…I just want him to keep being exposed as the fraud and anti-American jackarse that he is.

    • Steve says:

“Call me a birther, but I don’t believe this form. Too many problems, not least of which is the African listing under race of father and the whole bitmap layer thing.”

Sigh. The biggest drawback of the expose of the Bush National Guard Memo (which I had a hand in), which brought down Dan Rather, is that everybody is now trying to find a similar silver bullet.

Consequently, self-appointed online forensic ‘experts’ wrongly declared the first COLB document to be a fake.

One problem with their fatwas, was that when things get uploaded to the internet there is a lot of additional noise added to the image. Another, bigger problem, is that these ‘experts’ were making authoritative declarations on matters about which they knew little or nothing.

But no matter. These experts found a way to waste years of people’s attention, which might have been spent on real matters of importance.

I had first hand experience of this when I posted the photos of Mr. Obama ‘in Muslim’ garb’ from his visit to Kenya as Senator. Many of these same online “experts” declared those to be fake, ‘photoshopped,’ too. In reality, they turned out to be photos from the Associated Press, that they had suppressed. And they were entirely accurate.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

    • Rusty Shackleford says:

BHO, international man of mystery or mental slug with a communist bent?

What the whole issue illustrates to me is this: That my instincts as regards people are still very good. From the moment I first heard the guy talk, it shot through my head like a power surge, “This guy is a liar. He is very well-versed in how to look slick and has that contemptuous attitude towards everyone else. My god he seems angry, I wonder why. Well, if he’s elected, then we’re really in deep s***.”

Those were the thoughts that shot through my head in 2008. I had never heard of the guy; Didn’t even know he existed. That the democrats were pushing him to the front also caused my instincts to go into overdrive, especially when considering that Hitlery was their savior and focal point for years.

The fact that the pdf file was released doesn’t impress me. As I said yesterday, and reaffirm today, he’s a liar, he always lies, he’s lying now. And my instincts tell me that his contempt for the public that would dare question his citizenship, that something’s not right.

There is a good article in American Thinker today about the seriousness of why it’s important to question a president’s citizenship. This is not a brand, spanking new issue. http://www.americanthinker.com/2011/04/what_we_learn_from_the_obama_b.html

Liberalism is the alien ideology we should be looking to impeach and repeal in toto. Now that the birth certificate is out, our candidates can focus on precisely that. If the media continues to make an issue of it, it’s just as well to say “while I have no reason to doubt its authenticity and those who do should pursue the proper channels… perhaps the President should recognize that people have trouble taking him seriously when he takes the occasion of the release of his birth certificate (2.5 years after his immaculation) to call one of his very rare press conferences, in which he came out and lectured people that he had better stuff to do – before running off to ham it up with Oprah and then 3 fatcat fundraisers.”

It is so easy to turn anything around on them at this point, because the Left are such collectivist idiots and hypocrites with practically no long term memory or rational perspective save for the lies they convince themselves to believe.

I totally get your point. However, sometimes a cigar is just a painting of a cigar (or pipe…). Zero did everything in his power to foist a COLB on us and say it was a birth certificate…and then, suddenly!, he comes out of the woodwork with a document that does have errors in it (name of hospital, certificate number, race, age of father, etc.). Things that were pointed out as errors with the COLB, to make matters worse. The timing of this reeks of something and his attitude just made it worse. The difference between Bush and Zeros is that Bush killed the National Guard issue almost immediately; Zero has lawyered and Chicago Political Machine mobbed up for almost three years. Bush got the proper documents and proved to us that there were larger things to worry about. Zero just opens his mouth and blathers, while having his minions erase all evidence behind the scenes.

Like I said, I really don’t care where he was born. It’s the fact that he’s an overt liar and thinks he can get away with such contemptuous acts over and over again. I think that is what the heart of the birther movement has become; there’s a very small fringe that actually believe he was born elsewhere or even care. I’ll gladly don the title of birther if it means getting Zero to be held accountable for his behavior and hidden actions. America is being fed a like of bull poo and is being destroyed. Zero is playing a game of smoke and mirrors and I’m tired of it.

If this is what you’re talking about Steve: http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2011/04/obamas_long_form_colb_may_be_f.html

a part of me can see this being more true.

It has the perfect formula: divide and conquer; marginalize. It’s nefarious and proves the nastiness of the person we’re supposed to call President…and further supports my drive that he must go.

…..”I really don’t care where he was born”…….

Well put, TerryAnne. I wish I could be as indifferent, or that I could shrug such things off. Lately I’m beginning to think WHERE he was born is less important than the fact he WAS born. Don’t get me wrong concerning what I’m going to say (type) next, because I find the whole abortion scene abhorent. But when one thinks of the astronomically high proportions of black pregnancies that are terminated by abortions, and tha fact that Obama is perhaps the most vociferous in defending the practice, I find it ironic (not to mention unfortunate) that he was carried to term. That is, if the person identified on the released document and the person claiming ownership of it are one and the same.

Or, as has been questioned elsewhere, who is this person that has co-opted the name and stolen the identity of the REAL Obama, and who now occupies the White House?

TA, you’re trying to determine why he finally did it now – and it’s a worthy question because everything Little Lenin does is a calculation (unless it’s an off-TOTUS moment).

The conventional wisdom among Conservatives is that Trump’s mainstreaming of he issue was actually starting to make it a political liability instead of a weapon. And it was a political weapon he and the MBM were cynically using to marginalize the Tea Party, there is no doubt they would’ve milked this distraction all the way to election day 2012.

I personally think you have to factor in Corsi’s coming book too when coupled with those polls. There’s also the theory that he released it to pre-empt any further mainstream look into the rest of his past, and that they generated the birth certificate non-issue to be able to smear any and all serious inquiries to the untold life and times of lil’ Barry as racialist.

Always am grateful for the chance to hopefully provide a little clarity. Glad to have you with us, sister!

This is insane. I take a back seat to no one in questioning Mr. Obama’s honesty. But he did not “foist” a fake COLB on anyone. That is simply a crackpot conspiracy theory put together by the very people I described above.

What Obama released is exactly what the Hawaiian department of health gave him to release. And all that they were authorized by Hawaiian law to release.

I am closing this thread to any further comments. And I am going to follow through on my earlier promise to ban anyone who brings up this subject again.

Enough is enough. I am not spending my time and money on a website in order to promote inane conspiracy theories that were originally concocted and promulgated by Democrat operatives.

Conspiracy theories which are being shamelessly milked by some of the internet’s most notorious sleazebags, who are laughing all the way to the bank.
