It all roots itself in a complete inability to see freedom as evidence of the one true God’s presence. In that absence it is thus just that man appropriately fills the void and dictates what is right/wrong, fair/unfair, black/white.

I’ve been advocating a very similar position for about a year, and write about it frequently at S&L. My view is that communists made a deliberate strategic decision in the 40′s and 50′s to attack the US through the education system and media, since they knew they could not win a military confrontation. The strategists are long-gone, but Ayers and the like are the second generation, and 95% of the news media is the 3rd generation. They don’t even know it. Direct ties to the old architects are broken. It was never documented. Now the universities and media are filled with people raised on the mother’s milk of radical socialism.

I also believe that the Moron is a creation of the 2nd generation radicals. He is the 3rd step in the strategy….the demagogue. He was carefully selected, trained and protected for decades. There were probably dozens like him. He just happened to be the one who emerged. All of this has been carefully mapped out in a decades-long process. Every word that comes out of Obama’s mouth is scripted by the puppet-master. He’s the front-man. Nothing else.

Steve (the site host) frequently publishes articles that show how closely the Moron’s agenda aligns with that of the Communist Party of the US. Something like 47 out of 50 agenda points have been accomplished, and only 1 (Afghanistan) is in direct opposition.

(Note that more than twice as many jobs were lost in May as the msm reported. What they reported is something called “nonfarm employment” which is a much smaller number).

The quote is from the government’s own bls data. But even that data does not count the “discouraged workers” that your article discusses. That gets the unemployment rate up to 16.x%.

But I suspect unemployment is probably even higher than 16%. The census bureau tells us there are 304 million Americans and that 63% are between the ages of 18 and 65, which means there are 191 million Americans of working age.

bls data says there are 140 million currently with jobs (many of whom may be younger than 18 or older than 65, and some of those jobs are probably held by legal and illegal immigrants who aren’t counted in the 304 million Americans). That means at least 26% of working age Americans do not have jobs. Now, some of those are students, some are unable to work, some don’t have to work, and some are retired. Discovering all that data would be a huge task, but somehow, in the current economic climate, I think the true unemployment rate is probably closer to 26% than it is to 16%.

And even that doesn’t count the underemployed…people who have taken part-time jobs or jobs that don’t utilize their skills out of desperation, because they have to have some money to live. And even that may not count some people who have multiple jobs (which may be counted as 2 people employed in the employment figures).

But luckily for his supplicants, the president has already “saved” 150,000 jobs and has plans to “save” 600,000 more.
