Did you see this in the DHS "right-wing terrorism" report...

""lone wolves and small terrorist cells embracing violent rightwing extremist ideology are the most dangerous domestic terrorism threat in the United States."

Really?

Gee, here I was getting kind of concerned again about unsupervised jihadist cells getting lucky and getting a dirty bomb......and it turns out that my fellow S&L'ers are what I should be worring about.

The other side won the presidential election. And when I say the other side, I mean an ocean or morons who think that America, capitalism and freedom as we understand the word are the main problem in the world.

This is all going to keep getting worse, much worse.

There's nothing particularly controversial about what's going on. Nor is it hard to discover. One need only believe one's eyes and ears.

The only matter in question is what normal Americans will do about it.

In any case, the factions in power know the extent of their enmity toward America and the American philosophy of life. They are not naive about themselves. The idiots that dominate the establishment corporate media may be naive about them. (It seems that your average reporter is dumber than a sack of hammers). But the main players in power are not naive about themselves.

They know that they are deeply, fundamentally and radically opposed to the American way of life and America's dominance in world affairs. And they know just as certainly that their actions will generate an answering enmity and opposition among a large fraction of the American public.

They are eagerly making preparations to hold on to power and control as that happens -- using the normal organization and mechanisms of the American gov't. You can bet on it.

They really believe that average Americans are no better than or different from the Taliban or al Queda. And they are fully capable of acting on that belief.

This may or may not strike you as alarmist. But one has to consider that DC is now full of people who do not consider the excesses of Lenin, Stalin and Mao to have been inappropriate or even particularly regrettable. And whatever one might say about those three, the idols, exemplars and mentors of our alleged "representatives" in DC, they were not unrealistic with respect to how to gain and hold on to power. Nor were they particularly sentimental about the sufferings of their people.

Ralph Peters is probably right about Napolitano in this matter. She let slip her real views about things when she should have kept quiet. But since this stuff is her real inner truth, she can't help but reveal it from time to time. See: THE VET 'THREAT' -- Ralph Peters -- NY Post

That's who's running the gov't folks.

What's to be done?

That's the only meaningful question left. What's to be done?

Extremism? Lenin called his opponents extreme.

Here is the core of the issue. The generation destroying debt isn't the worst part.

NO DEBATE IS ALLOWED. With a tiny majority, but control of all branches, a small group of political radicals if forcing their extreme socialist agenda down OUR throats. OUR representatives are not even allowed to read the bills. If there is a debate, perhaps the liberal position will prevail, but not in the extremist form it is being implemented in today.

But this country DOES NOT CUTOFF DEBATE. That is the radical, extreme position. Not ours.

Moreover, there are many other radical practices of the ultra-left cabal that has siezed control of the political process:

- Demonization of all oppostion. Bush's policies, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, and now veterans and us, This is orchestrated by the POTUS. Nothing like it has ever happened in our country. NEVER.
- Early stages of restricting Constitutionally protected freedoms.
- Reversal of National Security policies 47% of the country believes keep us safe. No debate. No compromise. Reversal by fiat.
- A power grab by the government unprecedented in history. Siezure of private businesses. Firing of executives. Government inflamed hatred towards business in general.
- Bald-faced lies. The highest government officials call w-4 adjustments "tax cuts", but the "cut" is in withholding, not taxes. Flagrant lies about future deficits. Flagrant lies about earmarks. And many many more.
- Incessant finger-pointing. Apparently, everything that can ever go wrong is somebody else's fault
- Slander of past administrations on the world stage
- Hyperbolic incentivization of class warfare
- Singling out of individuals for punishment when no laws have been broken
- Constant attention paid to marginalizing 47% of the country. No attention paid to representing the entire country
- High government officials publically disputing the Constitution
- Stated intent to sieze income of producers and redistribute it to non-producers
- Obvious implementations of radical practices from Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals"
- Attempt to force veterans to pay for their own combat-related health-care
- Demonization of the military
- Unprecedented intrusion into the private sector. Without debate.
- Unprecedented corruption in appointed officials, including refusal to punish tax crimes committed by the Secretary of Treasury
- A mad rush to totally alter the US's political process in 100 days, with a 53% majority

Oh, it's not just a thing or two.
It's not just about the money.
It's not like we are seeing a measured movement to more liberal policies or liberal leaders gently persuading the country to change hundred-year old policies.

The radical extremists sit in the highest offices in the country and they don't give a shit about what the country thinks.

I've said it many times over the years: Lefties refuse to let you label them and yet they are as prolific a bunch of labelers as they make the right wingers out to be. They come up with words like "family-centric" and "gender-neutral".

That's fine, I guess if you need to do that. Most of us were happy with the English language as it was.

But they also like to make things up....or remanufacture the truth to say things like "The protesters were angry about IMMIGRATION" when in fact it's ILLEGAL immigration that has not just the right-wing concerned, but a whole heapin' helpin' of other folks as well.

And, we, as conservatives, cannot sit down and have a relaxed, logical conversation with any of them before the accusations of racism, greed, wishing-for-war, etc start getting thrown at us in great thundering, emotionally charged silliness.

It's like trying to talk to a snack machine, only the snack machine will probably understand.

I have learned that this is due to the "floating polynomial" nature of liberals. That is, their thought process consists of a large number of "logic bubbles" where the logic inside one bubble never interfaces with the logic of any of the other bubbles and they can have as many, or as few, as they want. Plus, the fact that if they have a job, it's ok for you to give up YOUR money...but they are both oblivious to, or are outraged that anything happen to THEIR money.

Thus, a liberal wants to save the world, as soon as possible, on YOUR money.

Plus, they are the FIRST to say "there ought to be a law" but are the last to think that law should apply to them.

Liberals invented the double-standard. Liberals will argue incessantly about "peace" and "love they neighbor" while beating a suspected animal-abuser to death.

Liberals refuse to be held accountable because they consider themselves "above it" and laws are made for people who aren't them. This stems from the exercise that they find themselves in jail and therefore the law is unjust and unfair because they see the person who follows the law not going to jail too. And they take special satisfaction when people like Pelosi, Frank, Reid, etc, their leaders, break the law and aren't held to task because it reaffirms to them that they are on the side of right.

Yeah, Ann Coulter was right, as she so often is, A liberal with a brain would be, well, a conservative.

Finally, when I go to a website that has liberal opinions and a conservative offers a logical, reasonable but opposing viewpoint, the flaming by liberals of said viewpoint and of the person who posted it is rife with racial slurs (cracker, honkey, etc) and emotional recklessness, and usually no logical counter argument. And oh-so-often, if the counter argument IS civil, it is replete with "facts" from the MSM. So...why argue with a liberal? You cannot change their mind any more than you can convince a dope addict that they have a problem.

The real joy, though is to say to them, "well, we'll see how that turns out and I predict (insert your prediction here)" and then 6 months, a year, two years later you tell them, "Remember when I told you this would all blow up in their face? Well, what happened?" And then listen to them try to present a logical basis for why the whole thing went as predicted.

Rush has been doing this for years. And yet, the liberals will never concede that the man was ever right. The logic bubble they had for that issue has long since burst and gone away and they are on the new thing, whatever that may be. Forgotten is the issue that was so important.

Writers of conservative text often say it, that liberals focus on the "important" issues on an emotional basis. Conservatives know that this is no way to run our lives, our households or the government. Yet we are seeing point blank, the things that happen when an overly emotional, adolescent mindset gets into power.

We have heard nothing but idealism since January. Hell, long before, of course but they KEEP spouting this idealism and now have taken action to make sure YOU cannot satisfy your own ideals by enforcing theirs.

This, again, is another definition of socialism and..well...a police state in the making. Thankfully, again, I fly free. If I have to leave, I will. I can start all over...it'll be tough but I'll be damned if I let this administration dictate to me what is my responsibility. When did liberals get so all fired up to "serve the nation"? Well, that's just another way to say, "serve the government in which THEY believe". For if they knew and understood what it meant to "serve the nation" they would 1) be conservatives and 2) If they were so fired up about it, would go enlist and dona uniform...or at the very least, become a civil servant.

There is no hope for liberals but now....you can't even go about your own life without them sticking their fingers in your lunch. So...I guess they are deserving of a little of their own medicine and time will prove that the supposition that Tea Party members are "whackos and nutjobs" really won't pan out. And yes, they are scared.

Scared of the truth.

I’ve said it many times over the years: Lefties refuse to let you label them and yet they are as prolific a bunch of labelers as they make the right wingers out to be. They come up with words like “family-centric” and “gender-neutral”.

That’s fine, I guess if you need to do that. Most of us were happy with the English language as it was.

But they also like to make things up….or remanufacture the truth to say things like “The protesters were angry about IMMIGRATION” when in fact it’s ILLEGAL immigration that has not just the right-wing concerned, but a whole heapin’ helpin’ of other folks as well.

And, we, as conservatives, cannot sit down and have a relaxed, logical conversation with any of them before the accusations of racism, greed, wishing-for-war, etc start getting thrown at us in great thundering, emotionally charged silliness.

It’s like trying to talk to a snack machine, only the snack machine will probably understand.

I have learned that this is due to the “floating polynomial” nature of liberals. That is, their thought process consists of a large number of “logic bubbles” where the logic inside one bubble never interfaces with the logic of any of the other bubbles and they can have as many, or as few, as they want. Plus, the fact that if they have a job, it’s ok for you to give up YOUR money…but they are both oblivious to, or are outraged that anything happen to THEIR money.

Thus, a liberal wants to save the world, as soon as possible, on YOUR money.

Plus, they are the FIRST to say “there ought to be a law” but are the last to think that law should apply to them.

Liberals invented the double-standard. Liberals will argue incessantly about “peace” and “love they neighbor” while beating a suspected animal-abuser to death.

Liberals refuse to be held accountable because they consider themselves “above it” and laws are made for people who aren’t them. This stems from the exercise that they find themselves in jail and therefore the law is unjust and unfair because they see the person who follows the law not going to jail too. And they take special satisfaction when people like Pelosi, Frank, Reid, etc, their leaders, break the law and aren’t held to task because it reaffirms to them that they are on the side of right.

And oh-so-often, if the counter argument IS civil, it is replete with “facts” from the MSM. So…why argue with a liberal? You cannot change their mind any more than you can convince a dope addict that they have a problem.

The real joy, though is to say to them, “well, we’ll see how that turns out and I predict (insert your prediction here)” and then 6 months, a year, two years later you tell them, “Remember when I told you this would all blow up in their face? Well, what happened?” And then listen to them try to present a logical basis for why the whole thing went as predicted.

Rush has been doing this for years. And yet, the liberals will never concede that the man was ever right. The logic bubble they had for that issue has long since burst and gone away and they are on the new thing, whatever that may be. Forgotten is the issue that was so important.

jobeth,

I attended the Tea Party in Cincinnati yesterday. 4000+ was the estimated attendance and a very orderly crowd. Some great signs were there also. Marched to City Hall to present a petition to the Mayor to reject any stimulus funds. I couldn't see because of the crowd but I don't think the POS even came out to receive it. Care to play guess the party affiliation?

"It said such groups were also exploiting anti-Semitic sentiment with accusations that "a cabal of Jewish financial elites" had conspired to collapse the economy.

I thought Barney Frank might be Jewish but never had a clue about Pelosi and Reid. Who'd have thunk it?

Just came back from two Tea Partys in my town. One at noon and one at 4PM

We are a small town but we had a great turn out in both. About 1000 for each Tea Party

Know what...The folks there were determined to be heard but they were polite, friendly, animated and they made me so proud to be a part of that group.

And when all was finished...there was no trash left behind. The town square was as clean as it was when we got there.

Tell you a lot about the people we are. We love our country, city and even our little town square. Think about what it always looks like when the lefties leave a protest site. Trash and more if they get too rowdy.

Anyway there were a lot of really great signs and we had a great time getting a lot of frustration off our chest.

And we are planning on coming back in July and talk about Labor Day. I expect a better turn out on Holidays and once Obalmy has ticked off the fence sitters. It's coming.

Hope some of you all had a chance to go to a tea party in your area.
