Obama: Stop Just Hatin’ All The Time (Accept Me As King)

Obama to Republicans: ‘Stop just hatin’ all the time’

By Roberta Rampton and David Lawder | July 30, 2014

KANSAS CITY Mo./WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Barack Obama took his criticism of congressional Republicans to a higher pitch on Wednesday, imploring them to "stop just hatin’ all the time" as they voted to sue him over charges he has overstepped the bounds of his office.

We have noted before that Obama and Holder are trying to criminalize any and all criticism of the administration or Obama, by trying to turn it into ‘hate speech’ or ‘racism.’

In a party-line, 225-201 vote, the House of Representatives authorized the Republican-drafted lawsuit, which will focus on unilateral changes Obama has made to the Affordable Care Act, his signature health care law. All Democrats and five Republicans opposed the measure…

But Obama, in a campaign-style speech, made fun of his political adversaries, laughing as he accused them of wasting time instead of addressing more pressing issues.

What a laugh. Every time anyone ever questions all the time Obama spends fundraising, they are told, ‘the President can do more than one thing at a time.’ But Obama doesn’t think Congress can.

But it’s clear that Obama’s idea of working with the other party is to give speeches insulting them, crack a few grammatically bad jokes, and then jet off to do some more party fundraisers.

"Stop being mad all the time. Stop, stop, stop just hatin’ all the time," he said of Republicans, drawing loud cheers from a raucous crowd of about 1,500 in an ornate theater in Kansas City…

You go first. Stop hating America, our Constitution, our founders, our freedoms, our successes, our greatness, our military, our history, our culture, our traditions, our religious beliefs, our ‘bitter clingers.’

"There’s a bunch of stuff that needs to get done," he said. "Unfortunately, I think the main vote … that they’ve scheduled for today is whether or not they decide to sue me for doing my job."

Obama seems to believe that his job is to help people. It is not. Obama is not elected to be the king of America. He is the country’s chief executive. And his job is to faithfully execute execute our laws and to faithfully defend the US Constitution.

But, instead, he is doing exactly the opposite. So, no, he is not doing his job. Which is exactly why he should be sued by Congress.

House Democrats said the suit would consume millions of dollars of taxpayer funds but would ultimately fail to undermine the president’s discretion in implementing laws.

We know how the Democrats hate to see the taxpayers’ money wasted.

"This a veiled attempt to impeach the president," said Democratic Representative Sheila Jackson-Lee, a Democrat…

It must be true, if Ms. Jackson-Lee thinks so. She is never mistaken.
